Since many Security Tokens projects offer dividends based on their revenue, I see it as a nice long-term investment.

Also, the price is not that volatile comparing to the regular Utilities, because the price will be based on the company's equity.

So, I found this article a few days ago and it states that Security tokens might have their own Ethereum-based token standard called ERC-1400. The standard was proposed this week by four authors.

My question is what do you think would be the future of Security Tokens? I understand that original idea of Bitcoin, for example, was decentralization and avoiding central organizations, however, speaking of blockchain, I see it as a tremendous leap in adoption and future progress. Curious what are your thoughts about this topic and do you support a separate Token standard for Securities?

Scam is a such thing that always exists and we all know that crypto is not the only industry.

For beginners, it is better to start with something that is old and well-known.

With new projects, to lower the risk of getting scammed, it is better to dive into the details, check the team, get updates, research the whitepaper, etc, etc.

Agreed! The market situation is like that only because of the panic selling.

Blockchain is growing and there is no need to worry about it.

PS: Technology-wise, don't forget about upcoming Security Tokens. Should be a great leap in technology, IMO.

I think that market drops just because nervous selling. Lots of people are worried to lose something and trying to "catch the last train" and cut their loses.

Nevertheless, technologies are growing. Security Tokens are almost ready for the launch, new ETH protocols are coming, fast and free blockchains are created. No sense of being pessimistic. That is just a short sign of negativity.

If we evaluate the stability and market cap - probably not.

In terms of technology and innovations, Altcoins are definitely better

I'm not sure if this study is legit.

Hard to say that all 80% are scams.

I believe more in a fact that people just followed the hype to create their own tokens without knowing the thing.

So. it's more lack of expertise rather than scam, IMO.

I think that Security Tokens are nice for HODLing.

For example Corl is the token to represent equity ownership in a company. 

Unlike traditional tokens on the market, Corl is based on a profit-sharing model where investors receive a continuous stream of quarterly dividends in the form of ETH, based on future earnings of Corl.

I would suggest you to avoid private selling/buying. Still, it seems pretty insecure.

Main crypto exchanges are mostly legit option.

Kraken
Huobi
Etc. Etc.
