Arsenal have done so well with the acquisition of a good striker finally but I also agree with the club that it shouldn’t end there and they should improve further because for the last three seasons Arsenal have had to deal with issues with their squad depth. This summer the club has actually backed Arteta well, it will benefit the club more if they can finally strengthen in all areas for the coming season, the acquisition of Rodrygo or Eze will really put Arsenal on a better footing for the next season.
If Rodrygo is to be transferred, he will make a significant contribution every year, and I feel the same way about this. Arsenal made some really good signings this year and strengthened their weak areas very well. With Gyökeres, Arsenal has been particularly strengthened in the forward area. Arsenal will be a natural contender for the Premier League title next year. I hope they don't finish second again in a fiercely competitive game. Arsenal, who have long dreamed of winning the title, are very close to achieving it this year, I think.

Re: UEFA Europa League 2025/26 Season
by

Tottenham won't be as mediocre as last season, probably somewhere in the middle, and their goal will be to win tournaments again. Perhaps they'll prioritize the Europa League again and ignore the league.
If only Tottenham can increase their potentials playing in Europa and Premier League so they stand once again to qualify in the Champions League and get a consecutive title after a long time of not winning any (If they can match other teams). Tottenham preparations says they are not ready for the Champions League, if they can succeed in the first knock out and second, they hardly will secure any final spot. The Premier League and other competition should be their base competitors, at least if Thomas Frank can lead the team to finish within 6th position that is better to what Tottenham management wants not alone winning Europa.
Tottenham, the reigning Europa League champions, will now face Paris Saint-Germain for the Super Cup. To win the Super Cup, they'll need to be exceptional in their match against them, as their opponent is a magnificent Paris Saint-Germain. On paper, it seems Tottenham will never win the trophy, but we all remember what happened in the Chelsea match as if it were yesterday. A similar scenario unfolded in the Chelsea match, where no one had even made a claim against Chelsea, but they won by three goals and clinched the trophy. If Tottenham achieves a similar feat, Paris Saint-Germain will have had a chaotic start to the season.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

W Jr.

Quite a few players who didn't seem to adapt well at Manchester United actually became better players when loaned to clubs other than Manchester United. Sancho, too, experienced the same thing. And I personally always wondered why these players couldn't perform at their best there. Was it the intense competition there, or what? Honestly, I'm not sure why. Because players who were considered quite poor at Manchester United and then loaned to other teams actually became quite reliable players at the teams they borrowed from.

And I think if Sancho joined a Serie A club, he would likely be able to perform well too. However, I'm still not sure whether Juventus would be successful in acquiring him. However, Juventus must act quickly because there are reports that Inter Milan is also interested in this player.

In addition to the players' inability to adapt to the club and the English league, the last few seasons until this season, the club has experienced many problems that have not been resolved until now, and it creates an uncomfortable environment for the players, which is the reason why Man United players are difficult to develop.

And of course we hope that with his move to Serie A, Sancho can be much more developed and return to his best performance. In addition, Sancho's age is also quite young, still 25 years old so the possibility for him to be much more developed can still be achieved.

And another ex-English league player who moved to Serie A that is quite interesting to discuss is the move of KDB, where we will see two ex-Manchester players, KDB and McTominay, who will duet in Napoli's midfield. I'm also looking forward to seeing  Nunez, I'm hoping that he'll be able to return to his best form like he did when he was playing for Benfica.

I think Sancho is his own problem, Chelsea offered him about £180k but he refused and the club had to back off now same player would still have to take a pay cut to leave Manchester United to a club where he'll get playing time. Well his move to Juventus is almost finalised there's been agreement between all sides Juventus just have to sell some players so they'll be able to finalise the deal. I don't know about Inter Hijacking the deal but it's possible if Juve don't act fast enough.
You shouldn't blame Sancho for refusing to accept Chelsea's offer because he thought he was going to get a better offer from another club, but that didn't happen because few clubs were only interested in signing him from Manchester United. I even heard the offer Sancho accepted from Juventus is even below what Chelsea offered him. Juventus and Manchester United have already agreed on a transfer fee for Sancho, and I don't think Inter Milan can hijack the deal because they need to agree on personal terms with Sancho first before they can submit a bid to Manchester United.
I think Jadon Sancho is a quality player and could be a valuable asset to Juventus if he transfers. We all know how much Juventus wants to win the Italian league this year. The clubs played well at the World Cup and were effective in scoring. If they can play similarly in Italy, they could be serious contenders for the title. A successful Sancho transfer will further strengthen Juventus's position. I believe they're having a good transfer window.

Being a coach in our times is not among the jobs I would decline because of the pressure and the danger to lose my job today or tomorrow. If they sign their contracts and get sacked, life goes on on the Bahamas or Maldives or Mallorca or wherever their holiday mansions are. They don't care. Bayer Leverkusen is backed by pharmaceutical giant Bayer and money has never been a problem for them, especially now that they sold Wirtz and Frimpong. I think ten Hag will get the money he wants, at least for most players. The finances shouldn't be the reason he can't be successful.
Manchester United has also shown that it knows how to secure funding for transfers and how to get the players it needs. If I'm not mistaken, during the few seasons that Ten Hag has been the manager of Manchester United, he has signed more than 11 players. In fact, you could say that he completely rebuilt the entire squad through transfers. And I agree with you that Bayern is a club that has never had problems with money, so if necessary, Ten Hag will get the funding and the players he believes he needs.
The budget at Manchester United isn't the same as the one at Leverkusen, of course. Expectations aren't the same either. For Ten Hag, who didn't succeed at Manchester United, Leverkusen will be a new challenge and a new marathon. I believe he'll be more successful than his Manchester United days, but still won't be able to shake Bayern Munich's throne. Ten Hag and Leverkusen need each other. We'll see how Ten Hag gets through this period.

I just read correctly that Rasford has undergone a medical, it may even be officially announced next week. But I also heard the news that Barcelona's financial condition might be difficult to immediately register Rashford as a new member ready to appear in La Liga. If you remember Barcelona also had problems registering Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. Both can only be registered after the season starts. Indeed, hopefully everything will go smoothly and Barcelona can immediately register Rashford to play fully with Barcelona.

Sure. Despite agreed to paycut his salary, Rashford still remain one of big earners in the squad. It means Barcelona needs to empty more salary cap to ensure they will able to register him. This is not an easy task consdering how they always struggled to registered their players last season.
I'm sure it won't be easy task to registed him. The only possible thing that they can use the backdoor by using their player injury to register him, but the problem is who? They don't have injured player in Rashford's position.
Since it is a loan spell I was thinking that Barcelona would have split the Rashford salary with Manchester United, 100k a week is still a very high salary and looking at Rashford recent form I don't think it is too bad for him
Although the club president has said that Barcelona are now back in the rule that allows them sign players freely.
Despite his high weekly wages, Barcelona needed a good backup winger to achieve their best season in history. They'll play 38 league matches alone, including the UCL and Copa Del Rey. With a very busy schedule, Rashford will be a valuable asset for Flick. Therefore, Rashford's transfer was a significant one. Signing him makes perfect sense; loaning him out makes more sense.

Rashford is 27 years old and can still play very well. The Englishman has the quality to be a player on a team of Barcelona's caliber. I find his transfer very logical for Barcelona. Marcus Rashford can't wait to play for Barcelona. How could he not? Many players dream of wearing that jersey. I hope he can succeed at Barça.
Yes Rashford is good enough to play for Barcelona but with the present Barcelona's squad I don't think Rashford is good enough to earn a stating role in the Barcelona's team.
This would be a different pattern of football than the one Rashford has been used to but he has the pace and ability to do just fine, I don't think Barcelona will use the buy option later, Rashford future will just be a decent premier league team, but I wish him all the best at Barcelona and I hope he proves me wrong.
This one-year situation will be a good change for him. Whether they win or lose, I think Rashford will be satisfied with a good year at Barcelona that leaves him with fond memories. I believe Barcelona also aims for this and envisions him as a good backup player for the team. In my opinion, the transfer of Marcus Rashford is a good backup player.

Rashford sort of makes sense, he would be a bench player, so that sort of makes sense. They were looking for Nico, and Nico is not a bench player, he is a left winger, but at left, they have Rapinha, so it never made sense for me that they were looking for that. now that they got Rashford, that dude could be bench for left wing, right wing, striker, whoever they have, he can play in many positions, which makes sense.

I see this as absolute win for them, they are getting him on loan too, and then buy option at the end of the season, so they are not even spending that much right now. We are seeing Barcelona finally making some financial sense, as long as they do not spend that much money, they are going to be doing fine.

I don't think Rashford would mind being benched.
Nico is a player who plays directly at Bilbao and wouldn't want to be benched at Barcelona. That's why he didn't transfer to Barcelona.
Rashford is a player who plays every aspect of the attack. He'll likely be Olmo's backup.
If he fits in, he'll be a starter right away when he gets the jersey. If he wasn't confident in himself, he'd go to the Saudi Arabian League instead of Barcelona.
I don't think Marcus Rashford would mind rotating with Dani Olmo. Barcelona is a huge team, and his willingness to embark on a new challenge in Spain after England shows us how competitive the player is. We all know he wants to fight for the right to play. I'm sure playing for Barcelona won't be easy, so he'll keep fighting. I think it's a good signing.

If not for the arrival of Mbappe, Vinicius was the best player in Real Madrid that you can count on whenever Madrid needs a win in any match. You should see how important and good he is at his to the extent that Ancelotti have to convert Mbappe into a central forward instead, of allowing Mbappe play to play on Vini's wing. Vini will not be sold because the club needs him more than the Arab men.

Vini is no doubt an important player for Real Madrid in both Ancelotti and this present Xabi Alonso's era if he wasn't Xabi would've tried to offload him just like he's doing with Rodrygo currently but he has a major role to play for Xabi Alonso when the season start that's why he's untouchable. Real Madrid is yet to bounce back hopefully we'll see a different Madrid when the new season starts, but right now Xabi has lots of work to do in the preseason by drilling his players to improve better and give their best ahead of the new season he also has to use this period to know the suitable positions that would suit soke players and help them do better.
The real problem for Real Madrid is their midfield woes. As we saw last year, Kroos' absence significantly impacted Real Madrid. To avoid a similar problem this year, I believe they need to make a transfer in this area. Vinicius, Mbappé, Rodrygo, and Bellingham are all effective attacking players for this team. However, they lack a master of control in midfield. A transfer in that area would raise the team's level. However, they probably haven't figured out who to bring in for this position. I'm sure manager Xabi Alonso has a plan.

Arsenal are indeed the closest, and rumor has it they have made an offer to Madrid. But not only Arsenal, Liverpool was also rumored to be interested, but they are also waiting for the completion of the transfer of their released players. Not only from the Premier League, Barcelona is also rumored to be interested in bringing Rodrygo, although I am also not quite sure of their seriousness.
Many European clubs still have an interest in Rodrygo. I think there is no reason for him to move to Saudi to enrich himself at an age that is still very productive for competition in Europe's top leagues.
A sports news outlet football.london claimed that Barcelona is also interested in signing the Brazilian international. Rodrygo said he respects Real Madrid and wants to remain in the club. But it seems Xabi Alonso prefers other strikers, as shown in the FIFA World Club event.  So he might want to leave for a place where he would be appreciated more. Real might be open to let him leave for €100m (£85m), and it might be hard for clubs to afford that amount, except there are other agreements, like player swaps.
Yes, a player swap could make sense in this situation. If the player swap isn't accepted, Real Madrid will want to sell him for cash. In this case, Barcelona will be out of the picture. Barcelona has no chance in this transfer because they're not in a good financial position. I don't think Real Madrid will prioritize their arch-rival. If they sign him, Premier League teams will. Arsenal, Liverpool, or Chelsea are likely in the running for this position.

Tottenham won a trophy after many years, and so did Harry Kane, getting his first trophy in the Bundesliga. Is this a coincidence?

I've also read this on platform X, and I remain of the same opinion: there's no connection between Tottenham trophies and Harry Kane achievements. It's also not a coincidence, as they're in different leagues and competitions. Even if Kane wins the title next season and Tottenham don't win a trophy, what else would the connection be? ANother coincidence, luck or something else? that will not a reason at all.
Let's just call it a sad coincidence. Harry Kane didn't achieve success with Tottenham. They won the league with Bayern this year, and they're celebrating. Winning a trophy was crucial for Harry Kane. He achieved it at Bayern, and they hold him in high regard. He'll win plenty of trophies with Bayern now, but Tottenham won the Europa League last year, and they couldn't have won anything else anyway.

Al Hilal surprised me with their performance in the Club World Cup because I believed the Saudi Pro League wasn’t club would not go far or do well competing against the best European teams but they proved me wrong especially when they knocked Manchester City out of the competition it was then I realised they were a very good team and I see why they have dominated their league.
I took was also surprised in their performance against the European teams, frankly I didn't expect the win against Manchester City. Yes, Al Hilal is a very good side in their league but I didn't expect them to go toe to toe with City especially, even eliminating them in the process. If they continue in the manner at which they played in this CWC, they will certainly win the league from the previous champions which is Al Littihad.
Al Hilal pulled off one of the tournament's biggest surprises, winning against Manchester City and knocking them out of the tournament. Now it's Saudi Arabia's turn. Al Hilal is a team aiming for the championship in the Saudi Arabian league. Their squad is also really good, as evidenced by their four-goal victory against Manchester City. I don't think there's a team they can beat in Saudi Arabia this year.

I didn't know CR7 had such a huge salary, I thought he had a salary of around 100mil and if your info is correct then Ben Jacobs is right and the Saudis are already looking for 350mil for Vinicius. To be honest I'm not sure that Vinicius will be as marketable as Ronaldo in terms of marketing, because even despite his age Ronaldo was recognized as the best player in the world for many years and only Leonel Messi could compete with him.
So if I were the Saudis, I would not hurry to give such money for Vinicius, or it may turn out like with Neymar, who played 5 or 7 matches per season between injuries, besides the character of Vinicius is not the easiest.

Apart from all that, you can't compare Vinicius Jr. with Cristiano Ronaldo. Even though CR7 is now one of the oldest active professional footballers, he is still one of the most popular and best-known footballers (if not the best-known together with Messi). Vini Jr. is not even half as good as CR7 was at his age and he is certainly not as popular.

The Saudis can certainly pay >300 million for him but the question is whether it will pay off?
Vinicius can be a great player, no one can deny that. However, he can't be a player who single-handedly carries a team like Cristiano Ronaldo. Sure, he can do it in some matches, but he can't achieve the same level of success in countless matches. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are exceptional players in the world of football. Players like him rarely come along in the sports world. Therefore, expectations are high for every player compared to them, but they can't meet those expectations.

There are still rumours that Real want to sell Vinicius as early as August, which means that Alonso still sees that there is no good link between these players, so there is no point in trying to build something further around them. Although last season I didn't notice any conflict between Mbappe and Vinicius, they worked well together and brought victories to Real Madrid
The was no "conflict" because for some good parts of the season the did not play together due to injuries but whenever they would play together, one of them would not shine as the left-hand forward side is a favorite one for both.
In that case if this continues to be the case then obviously they won't play together any further, Alonso is not going to be ceremonious with these players no matter how much they cost or how important they are to the club, for he has a goal of winning. But even if the situation doesn't get better, Real are capable of reaching the Champions League final, that's Real
I don't believe the rumors of a rift or a bad relationship between Mbappé and Vinicius, as the media has been constantly highlighting these issues since Mbappé's arrival at Real Madrid, but they're not.
Mbappé and Vinicius are two key players in Real Madrid's attack. This is just a rumor, and I'm confident they'll both stay at Real Madrid. Xabi Alonso is also a brilliant and authoritative coach; he'll surely be able to unite these two players to improve the team.
Both of their personalities are different. When they play together, they bring immense strength to Real Madrid. Therefore, manager Xabi Alonso should get them used to playing together. When both of them play together, they bring immense strength to Real Madrid. I think the biggest challenge for the Spanish manager this year will be helping the players overcome their egos. If we can achieve this, Real Madrid can win every trophy, they have such a good squad.
