Another great news from WONO team from their Twitter! Today they introduced Amrinder Singh - a high-skilled fullstack developer with more than 10 years experience at Ericsson who is in the charge of frontend web applications development, as well as for backend and smart contracts integration. And also a new member of their advisory board - Adil Khan from Turo! You can read more about Adil Khan in this article: https://medium.com/@wonoworld/turo-manager-joins-wono-as-a-p2p-carsharing-advisor-785198f49dfa

No doubt that is a great news for their project and for all the potential investors which became even more aware of Wono.
Khans credentials are great and i am sure he will bring a lot to the advisory board.

The more popular this project gets, the more it needs the best developers and advisors to be successful. On the other hand, the more successful this project gets, the more it will attract the best people for the job.

With Wono a new kind of economics is born. We can now really bypass the middlemen, who are making big bucks from our transactions. So we keep that in our own pocket.

Such a strange name - WONO. Why does your project have such a name? Is it an abbreviation or something like that?

No, WONO is a little man, who can both be cute and annoying. Cute for our users, annoying for our competitors =)

Clever! Sounds like “wanna”

So, Wono is like the little David who fought and defeated the giant Goliath. Wono will take care of the little man and protect him against the large corporations that take advantage of the common man.

There was another bounty with a German TV host, where bounty hunters got similar answers about KYC and so on. Hope it does not end the same way.

This is disappointing, team seems to have disappeared from the forum, spreadsheet is locked, date is delayed time after time, same unclear replies in telegram. Hope this does not end like other scam ICO's.

Maybe there are people making much money with bounties, but not millions. You can earn a few thousands, but that's it. Sure some are poaching they make so much, most of these people are just bluffing. And there are many scams lately, f.i. Envion. They made $100 million in a very short time and now the money's gone.

Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation

Bitcoin is already regulated in countries where you can have and use bitcoins. At least, exchanges will have to follow KYC and AML procedures. They will have to pass customer information to the authorities. All these regulations are for the protection of consumers, says the governments. But regulations are used for tax purposes.

Re: News: Bitcoin won't be Global Currency

Bitcoin is global, but not really the global currency we had in mind. And it will not become this global currency, it is hardly being used as a currency and certainly not worldwide yet. Although more and more merchants and corporations accept bitcoin lately. Issues like transaction fees and speed should also be fixed first.

Warren Buffet doesn't need anymore money, he's one of the richest persons in the world. But the point is, he does not believe in cryptocurrencies, he's an old school investor. He does not understand crypto and believes there's no value behind bitcoin.

Bitcoin would be a decentralized cryptocurrency, but with regulations like KYC, customer info will be passed to authorities. So privacy, one of the biggest issues in the crypto environment, will no longer exist.

All we could do, is hoping that the price reaches at least 20K again in December. More would be better of course, but maybe that's too much asked. As long as the price passes 10K or even go to 15K would already be great.

It will be hard for bitcoin to become a mainstream currency, indeed because financial institutions won't let that happen. They will use blockchain, but they'd rather create their own cryptocurrency than have bitcoin as mainstream currency.

It's well known that bitcoin has a high volatility, caused by whales and pump and dump groups, in order to make profits. The price is also influenced by FUD, to give bitcoin a bad reputation. And the price also affects altcoins.
The price did drop from almost 20K to 6K in in February, but hopefully it will rise again and reach 20K again at the end of the year.

Re: What's wrong with Bitcoin now?
by

on 02/06/2018, 23:01:48 UTC
It looks like the market is a little hesitant and investors don't really know what to do. It is strange, the price should increase now that big name investors are also stepping into cryptocurrencies. But anyway, some expert investors predict the price will increase and at least double before the end of the year.

Now that the price of bitcoin seems stabilized around $7000 -$7500, people are giving up hopes or maybe don't have the strong believe the price could reach last year's ath. Predictors play safe and don't give figures that are close or beyond that 20K ath.

This will not affect bitcoins (im)popularity, you are bitcoiner or not. It will not offend people who don't have bitcoins. They simply do not care about cryptocurrencies and just wonder what nocoiner means. And it will not increase bitcoins popularity either.

Some countries have banned crypto, because the government does not really know how to handle this new technology. They're afraid to lose control over the financial system. But now they see It's not a threat, they will give up and silently accept cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin has the potential to increase and reach the ath of 20K at the end of the year, some people think it could even get much higher. So buying now at $7000 or lower, could be very profitable. Bitcoin is growing in popularity and big name investors are involved.
