From reading between the lines they are having issues. Like I said, the last 1% off a project can take a shit ton of time depending on the complexity. This project is complex. DE is searching for the bugs, I think. He probably had to roll back a couple times to work through issues.

IMO, hodler's are the investors who listened to AirBnB pitch their "SHITTY" idea (in which a prominent investor walked out because he thought it would never work) in 2009 and stayed to listen. Some of us truly realize the value of this project. The project represents true decentralization. The price is looking like it's going to be over a year in development. The price is being paid with time and effort. This can be quantified, however the value of this project is priceless. DE chose his handle over three years ago. I'm waiting to see if he can realize the dream of a truly decentralized economic model. If I could put myself into DE's shoes, I would definitely be dismayed with the mountain in front of me. Looking at the white paper (RHOC's paper too) and the tech involved is like looking at Everest. I'll do my best to push this community into a positive light. It's easy to become negative and cynical in dark/bearish times, but takes so much more energy to stay positive. I'll work on this. DE/Shiny and community... let's strive to be legends.

Shiny, just tell us this.... Will YOURchain succeed and surpass all expectations? Also, you are second in line... better get used to conveying the message to the people, but I still have faith in this project.

This is not an investment, nothing in crypto is an investment. This is speculation at its finest. I wish DE would give a glimpse into the features of URC v1.
Question 1:  is DE gonna launch in Alpha or Beta? And what would be in alpha? If you are past alpha, what will be in beta launch?
Question 2:  is DE developing a fully functional sharding blockchain that will release will fully functional features that he envisioned?
Question 3:  why limited to 9000 chains as stated by shiny?
Question 4 : back to question 2, see question 1.. what should we expect for initial launch?
Question 5: Why should the community be excited? Give us something tangible to work with, we need a launch pad, a solid ground. Meme's are a sand foundation, we need a rock to jump off of. This is a call out to shiny, since he has been appointed as the inheritor of YOURchain by DE. The whitepaper has been laughed at by people I've shown it to. They say it's impossible. Meh, there's no question that DE is him, but that whole thread was a joke from the start, no one took it seriously. The real issue for the ban was probably because he pissed off the wrong peeps on nxt's website forum and got blowback here. Not defending him, like I said this could be a wash. Although, I do give DE mad props for going from that thread to this, took some serious work and effort to keep the ruse going. But seriously, does anyone really think rchain can achieve their goals while staying on eth's blockchain? lmfao, I don't but at the same time I'm fucking pissed I didn't ride the hype train. Verdict is still out on this one for me, as I've been here before in the darkest times, but pissed away profit. Example, cloak, had some good times, dev fucked up, new team, three years later, profit without me. Countless stories of crypto projects clawing their way back from death. Edit: Try being an Angel Investor in Silicon Valley where 1 of 10000 investments is Uber or Airbnb...We have been spoiled in crypto, but most of you pajeets got free airdrops and complain. Me, yes I'm invested and I don't care if DE doesn't deliver because I've been here before. I've lost a good chunk of my investments in projects that didn't deliver because of the dev team's incompetence, which is a shame because the majority of them where good ideas that they couldn't deliver. Yes, this is a newbie account but I've walked this path and I remember the days of projects being judged by the [ANN] threads, not dev identities, websites, and banking connections. Me? I think the scale that they want to achieve could probably be written better in a "pure" functional language to reduce side effects (Scala is an attempt at a better java, as read in the white paper), but no one has achieved this yet so all opinions are worth fucking shit. However, I've spent plenty of time reading through the Capt's bct posts/discord/twitter, before I invested and find it hard to believe he would give up, however as I have learned in the real world..the road to hell is paved with good intentions. If he doesn't deliver and has a memory leak, due to a strong reference cycle to Greg, then we as a community should take the whitepaper and run with it. Because imo, thats the real gold, the theory has been written, its like Einsteins E=MC^2, and btw Shiny...Why you trolling this thread? That website? C'Mon man

Coding, or in YOURCHAIN's case, a fucking paradigm change (the third decentralized revolution) is not linear, it's kinda like a logarithmic scale (i.e. non-linear). For example, it may take you 9 months to complete 98% of the code base...but that last 2%... is so fucking revolutionary.. solving complex mathematical simulations/problems... that it will take another 6 months to tackle that beast and unleash an algorithm so fucking beautiful, a masterpiece. This is what separates the vaporware from legends boys and girls...Dedication.. And I've got a feeling...

Would it be possible to get some talking points for the white paper in laymen's terms for those who aren't developers? Kinda like YourChain for dummies? That way it would help us spread the word and speak intelligently about the tech spec's of YourChain and help us contrast differences without looking like a moron trying to speak about a subject they don't know fully. Just a couple of knockout bullets.. Also, URLANG..I'm assuming it will be written in a more functional approach rather than ETH's solidity which is more OOP, am I right?
