But regarding holds, you need to make sure you know the type of altcoin you hodl because some coins will definitely crash back the way they mooned and leave people that holds confused disappointed and angry
If you look at the case of ZCG, it once mooned to 3$ ; a lot of people incl. me had high hopes
But now ZCG is gone abandoned and over with, which leaves hodlers in debt or loss
So make your choice

There was a similar case with Zclassic coin currently that rose to around 200$ due to fork called bitcoin private which was being airdropped to all btc and zcl holders and its currently just near 8$.

I totally agree that the new era will make us richer then the average person wealth, today only 1% invests in cryptocurrency, but don't forget each day this number grows, as people getting more interested and to know about crypto world. We missed out a little on bitcoin and some other cryptocurrency, but I am sure we are at the right time and at the right place. I doubt though 2018 will be a good year for us (investors in cryptocurrency), it is going to be a tough year. So patience all that matters and we will be fine, don't stop believing what you are doing and you will be fine! Yes indeed, it is going to be a very tough year, a scary year, and a changing year. You'll find out by the end of 2018 if you still want to continue investing into cryptocurrencies. Everyone should stay positive because this is only the stage where big corporate companies start funding and understanding cryptocurrency. We have yet to get to world wide adoption, that is the next goal and we are aiming to the moon.
Yes, of course. I myself feel the luckiest person for discovering the world of Cryptocurrency. Besides I can increase my income by trading coins, I also teach my friends and relatives to do the trading activity of coins and profit from the activity. So, I feel lucky when the people around me are happy.

It is a world wide web everyone uses, now we are using the internet to move money and start businesses. Indeed we are the chosen one. I dont know your source of worlds population but if that is true then it constitute rooms for growth in crypto. Imagine that the investors grow for 5%-10% annually then for us who was in the early stage of industry will reap the success of the bitcoin and altcoins. As of the moment the only logical things to do is hold and diversify our portfolio. Long term investment still the best strategy to execute.
Read it somewhere on how many people invest into crypto vs. just hearing about it. It was actually a poll taken asking random people on the street if they knew what bitcoin was, only 1% of them actually invested, and the majority of people did not know what bitcoin or blockchain technology was. I think we are lucky to be wealthy enough to invest, because 90% of the world population just can't afford it. It's like we are smarter.
The biggest advice I can give you is to follow strict cashroll management and never invest in a coin only because it's hyped.
