If you were not already Invested in Ethereum, you would have had at least not less than 50% of your investment in Bitcoin however since we are already here, Ethereum is also a good coin for investment when talking Altcoins, and don't bother about the current downtrend of the market, as long as you didn't sell you are good till the bull season. Beam is weak, why not choose between Kadena or layer 2 project with much credibility? All what beam has is available in many projects but the difference is other projects have better supports and stronger team, note, I am not a hater of beam but lately they failed to deliver.
Good question, it looks like many layer 2 projects will be abandoned after Ethereum merge and PoS is active but I don't see things that way, I believe whatever will happen depends on project builders ( developers ), we can't tell them to start building on Erc 20 if they believe that Matic is the right place to be, see? Layer 1 and 2 projects will survive because many developers will still prefer them than Ethereum.

I can't say much for the list of coins because I don't see the top 10 coins but DOT, which is in 11th place. Apart from that, your other coins are still in the top 100.

I don't believe in hidden gems, instead I prefer buying coins at very cheap price, I believe this is what makes them hidden gems, while people are giving up that these projects have lost 90% of their value that's the best time to start packing them.
