Re: WTB FLASH BTC/USDT

Why exactly you want buy flash BTC? So far there is two definitions of flash BTC. Which one you need exactly? The first definition seems using by scammers,
It's 99.99% scam, TokenMe.w wants the seller to go first and then start negotiating, you will most likely get banned after sending USDT.

Seller must be able to proof he/she is real and genuine by sending 1 - 100 usdt, after confirmation, we will open a negotiation

Re: How to pay with Electrum App on Android? Sign unsigned transaction?

Later I want to toggle this wallet occasionally from watch-only to full and back.
Is this possible without fiddling with seed and/or private keys?
Use watchonly wallet when you want to track your balance or open your wallet when the device you are using is not secure, and use seed from a secure and clean device only.

I will choose 1. Not concerned in the slightest;

hardware wallet chips or secure element are useful in case of physical attacks or unauthorized access and the probability of a successful attack is low and their absence will not weaken the entropy. Supply chain attack can be easily avoided or using a DIY hardware wallet.

is elysium username is a short representation of the public key and all transactions are done via the bitcoin blockchain or is it closer to an account ID where transactions can be made between wallet users without onchain ID. Will there be restrictions on users from other IPs who have downloaded the wallet or are the restrictions on google play, and will the APK version be available soon?

Re: will LTC finally have a good run and go over $100!
by

It may happen if BTC rallies and I think it totally will this bull run.
Thus, LTC can be considered as an investment option, though, with no expectation of a life change.
$200 would be good enough.
LTC price is $68 and $200 is 3 times the price, which is a likely scenario at the moment, while $180,000 is reasonable for bitcoin more than $200 for LTC.
If events change, then investing in litecoin will be better but for now the rise of litecoin is linked to the rise of bitcoin and to a lesser than bitcoin

You did the right thing of digging into the code itself.

The upcoming Package release and the updates thereafter will self-destruct all users data. This service will have no memory of users' data.

Line 3 of the quoted code has this: show="*", which means that data is not revealed just like entering a password. As the service doesn't keep any user's data, the only way to send funds is to enter that data as the address alone isn't enough to release funds. Rest assured that this part will be secured further.

There is still a slight possibility that a third party may be able to record the data before it is destroyed so it is better to use MKP rather than asking the user for the private key.

I like the mnemonics editor that you released. But I am not a fan of changing seed words and having users meddle with words for whatever reason. It affects the randomness.
Seed words use simple English and if you don't understand what they mean it's easy to draw the letter and rewrite it without understanding what they mean. Using seeds in local languages will increase your dependency on a specific software and won't help you much because you will memorize the words on a piece of paper and not your memory.

Does it work with electrum seed or can I customize new words other than BIP39 words.

How would I act if the program link was removed from github, can I return to wallet seed using any other open source program?

Apart from increasing complexity, I think you need to save the encryption digitally.

At Albu Academy, we’re committed to delivering high-quality content, and that’s exactly why we offer a free class every Monday, not just on December 17, 2024. This gives anyone the opportunity to preview our course and assess its value firsthand—completely free.
If there is a free course every Monday, posting a free course for a short period of time, such as 3 minutes before purchasing any course, would be useful to evaluate the quality of the courses. You can't wait until Monday to get a free course and then think about purchasing.

The GitHub file doesn't have an introduction to how to install the file or some necessary questions so I dug a little bit into the code:

Code:
        self.sender_key_label = tk.Label(self.frame, text="Enter Sender Private Key (Limit to 64 Alphanumeric)", font=("Arial", 9), bg='#8fbc8f')
        self.sender_key_label.pack()
        self.input_sender_key = tk.Entry(self.frame, validate="key", textvariable=self.sender_key_var, width=85, font=("Arial", 9), borderwidth=2, relief="raised", show="*")
        self.input_sender_key['validatecommand'] = (self.input_sender_key.register(self.val_k),'%P','%d')
        self.input_sender_key.pack()

Why does the Bitcoin payment services processor need to get the private key? This can be done by usiing the MPK and creating the wallet without risking exposing the private key.

Re: Running Bitcoin core node without Tor.

Did you change dbcache, you can change the value to a higher value (node never flushes the UTXO,) change the value to a value less than 4000, which is the size of your RAM,  will help to increase sync speed, but do not increase the number to a large number or close to 4000 to avoid crash problems.
You'll find more information here and the table below shows how much the sync speed will increase.

https://blog.lopp.net/effects-dbcache-size-bitcoin-node-sync-speed/

Connecting to Tor may increase speed if your ISP has restrictions on downloading Bitcoin.

LTC is a good coin with low fees and broader use cases but there are many coins with the same use cases and lower fees which makes it an option among several cryptocurrencies and LTC halving happened before what happened to Bitcoin and a year passed but the price did not react as required which means that the only thing that will lead to LTC rising will be the rise in the price of Bitcoin and we may get $150 to $400 maximum.

$100 is possible and realistic.

You may get a good deal from energy providers in case of floods or when electricity consumption is low in your country, but you may not get a good deal in case of grid load, so if you find a cheap deal that lasts for several months or years, that is best. Otherwise, seasonal mining and the ability to move mining equipment every few months may be better than incurring high electricity bills. This will vary depending on the country, the size of the investment and the type of deals that can be made.

Re: The politician who criticizes SEC Policies (Congressman Tom Emmer, not Trump)
by

SEC is an independent federal agency, and to enhance the independence of such agencies, it would be difficult for politicians to replace the chairman of the commission without a good reason. So even if Trump were elected president of the United States, the highest executive position, he could not easily fire SEC Chair Gary Gensler.

police and legal authorities are the only ones who can help you recover your money when you lose it and get 10 confirmations on the Ethereum network or one confirmation on the Bitcoin network.
