Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit?
by

No taxes in my country, on buying/selling crypto if you are doing that as an individual and not as a service to/for others. In this case and in case of mining you are obliged to pay taxes. But I believe that as in most of EU countries the regulations will become more clear in next months and upcoming years. What is interesting is that some of the political parties are already having on the agenda "crypto free of taxes" what is a nice add on to the usual agenda.

I vote for Deep onion. DeepOnion is an anonymous cryptocurrency that is natively integrated with the TOR network which enables you to send and receive the payments anonymously and hide your identity.
It is integrated with Obfs4 public key obfuscation protocol on top of the tor network, its purpose is to hide the message content protocol details so all traffic appears to be random traffic.

I heard for it a couple of year ago when there was an whole magazine for PC dedicated to this topic really, from A to Z. I lend it to the colleague of mine who was at that time interested in it...and stupid us neither him or neither me invested in it  Huh Second time it was when Bitstamp become more and more popular and since CEO's and founders are from my country a lot of fuss was around it... Than I decided to take a more time to read about the whole thing of crypto and some time after I participated in first ICO and rest is history....

With colleague we still make jokes on this magazine and what would be if we would invest at that time...but it's easy to be smart now I guess  Tongue

Re: TEACHERS SHOULD HAVE GUNS IN CLASS

Even the idea about teachers with guns is so bizarre that should not even come into the discussion in first place. I know that US perspective on this might be different but you should really change the policy and laws on who can have the guns in their possession since the current situation is a complete chaos whic is driving to the events in the schools etc...

As far as I know you have to have 30 activity points in order to reach Jr. Member rank on bitcointalk forum. And within the two 14 day period, you have to be active.

Good luck on your way to reach higher ranks. Have a blast mate

Exactly as you have described above. You need to reach the Jr. Member status on BCT and you need to log in as well into Deep Onion  official forum where you will need to post at least 3 posts per week.
You need 50 onions and you need to set up the wallet accordingly and set up your profile on BCT forum with your onion address .

Viberate is getting spammed too much cos of their affiliate program... I see new threads every day...

Exactly I have just said in the above post but who cares. Spammers everywhere. I hope that Viberate take actions against it somehow?

Indeed I'm crying out loud for some action from Viberate but they are too busy running around centralized government of Slovenia to take care about spamming of community or maybe they even support it. Bad luck since this is a good project getting a spam reputation, over the all benefits...

I prefer Bittrex and Cryptopia, but not impressed by Livecoin since the fees are just ridiculous for some of the coin transactions on this exchange.

It is never too late to jump on the train but the market parameters needs to be taken in consideration. As above was said, todays market situation can be a great stress to one while for others can be a great starting opportunity.  Only thing is that there is much more projects around and you need to invest many time to detect the one you believe are going to be successful since many of them will come to the said end sooner or later, and same goes for ICO’s.

Indeed the current fuss with all the FUD is making market going crazy and is influencing heavily the general public opinion and I believe there is more yet to come. What is the agenda behind can be just a pure speculation but somebody is having a great interest in spreading this kind of news, since this is not anymore a single case FUD but it looks more like a well-organized process.

Re: Electric Cars - The future ?
by

on 01/02/2018, 21:50:29 UTC
I'm not convinced that electric cars are really that green as they are advertising. For providing electricity you need power station and none of them is without huge impact on environment. If you take in consideration impact of coal power plants, or potential disaster that can arise from nuclear power plants and in addition the battery needed for electric cars are as well not environment friendly neither their production.

Re: Who is now the leader of the world?
by
Yamidee
on 31/01/2018, 19:37:04 UTC
Unfortunately money is the one who is leading the world one way or another. There is no politician or the party who can run without the money in the background and non of the "donations" are for free. When the certain laws needs to be accepted or the decisions needs to be taken that are in the favour of the certain ... (add by your imagination) than the payback time comes in play. You can observe that in any country, and if you take a look for instance  just how many registered lobbyist are for instance in EU parliament than you can get the bigger picture.

It seems a safe card on first glance but with crypto you never know. I have in my portfolio some of your choices but personally not big fan of IOTA. It would be worth to explore a bit out of box to have some more risky but promising projects where you can benefit as well on short and mid term.

Looking from my portfolio stand point, I would suggest to give some advantage to NEO in comparison to ETH. Both for sure will grow but I believe you can have better gains from NEO on mid term plus benefit of GAS in your wallet.

Re: How to motivate employees?
by
Yamidee
on 31/01/2018, 11:14:16 UTC
I lead teams in my career from 8 FTE up to 60 FTE, and the motivation is usually deferring from the position and grade of the employee. But in general every manager should know their employees and have the interest in their personal and career life. When you understand what is driving employee you can in the limits of his job role coach him and give him the assignments that are closer to his goals and interests. Don't underestimate your employees and challenge them since nobody enjoys the routine day by day, and people want to be busy even if this does not seems on the first glance.
And as their manager you should lead by example since people appreciate if you are not just delegating but as well join the team and work with them as one team.

Re: Best competitors to Ethereum?
by
Yamidee
on 30/01/2018, 19:26:50 UTC
In my eyes NEO is currently the closest "competition" but things can turn around fast. NEO is backed by China government, using dBFT therefore it gets faster transaction per sec. In any case I believe at least for couple of years ETH will stay the king of smart contracts.
