[ANN] DigitalNode [XDT] - PoW/PoS, Masternodes, Untraceable encrypted messaging
by
Yanisumin
on 14/12/2024, 12:04:00 UTC
DigitalNode pioneered blockchain locking rewards but never fulfilled its original promise to utilize staking to secure the network, UNTIL NOW.
We are excited to announce long-awaited Proof-of-Stake functionality via our innovative PoW + PoS hybrid system!  The old blockchain lock-reward system has evolved into full Proof-of-Stake, while still allowing for Proof-of-Work mining.

DigitalNode is resistant to the 51% attacks that plague other cryptocurrencies.  We have taken a proactive approach versus 51% attacks since they are no longer just hypothetical in today's environment.
The network deploys multiple layers of security to achieve this.  First, the very nature of a PoW + PoS currency implies that an attacker must not only have 51% of the hash rate but they must also have 51% of the total amount of coins to be able to attempt an attack.
This alone is very unlikely, but we have gone a step further by incorporating VRX v3.0.  VRX v3.0 is a difficulty retargeting algorithm and system designed to keep PoW and PoS balanced, among other things.
This system ensures that neither block type can overpower the other and both miners and stakers can benefit the blockchain equally, eliminating either as a potential 51% attack vector.
Lastly, the new wallet verifies the entire incoming block before ever storing it to your disk, checking the stake difficulty and other parameters to make sure that a 51% attack is impossible.
VRX v3.0 also deploys a velocity constraint system to ensure a narrow window around the desired block target (while still allowing for some variance) essentially eliminating timestamp attacks.

Additionally, we are welcoming user-run Masternodes to the network! Masternodes incentivize network cooperation, strengthen chain security and also upgrade the network to allow instant transactions.
The collateral required to operate a Masternode is 2,000,000 XDT (more technical information is available in the resource section).

The DigitalNode blockchain is lightweight and mobile-ready.  This will allow for features like a mobile encrypted messenger and mobile wallet, among other innovations.
Adaptive block sizes also help to govern the maximum allowable block size based off of network usage. This allows for seamless adaptability of the blockchain system to handle any kind of network load and environment.

Re: Like Facebook, will Twitter welcome blockchain??
by
Yanisumin
on 22/09/2018, 14:10:58 UTC
I think twitter can not do the same even if they want to. Users can only advertise bitcoin but twitter as a whole I think is impossible. Twitter supports strong blockchain. Maybe one day twitter will switch to blockchain technology in running the project. I also believe that if twitter has adopted blockchain technology it will most likely also create an electronic money currency for use on twitter. If Twitter decides against crypto, it will affect the cryptographic community very badly. It has also been the means for celebrities to share their encrypted investments with their fans. They are struggling with their own development and therefore can not make such harsh steps.

I don't understand your posts. You seem to be sure that twitter supports strong blockchain, in the meantime twitter's network does not rely on blockchain. There are millions of twitter posts regarding on blockchain technology, if that is what you mean, then be sure to be clear. I don't understand either the encrypted investments that you are talking about. Huh Huh

as I recall the tweeter has launched its own token.
if not mistaken, the token name is TWIST, and that's great for cryptocurrency.

maybe the reference you can check is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2900186.0

(please correct me if I'm wrong)

I have check the website but I don't see any information that it is twitter's own token. Based on what I've read, this is a whole different platform.

Why do they release own their cryptocurrency, what is the perpuse of that.

You don't have to question, question with questions.
Its obvious.
PRivacy and security must be one of the most important elements of a social media platform. You know that blockchain Tech can bring that.

Re: Party's over. Go get a job, you lazy animals...

Strange times we live in. Crypto speculation, YouTube views, paid content. Yet no real contribution to the human evolution. A good professional is getting harder and harder to find. This generation is full of fucks who pose on YouTube, unboxing shit, and earning 100k dollars per month. Or "great economists" who are betting on a zero-value digital coin. This is insane. Go get a fuckin job, get a degree, go invent and participate in a project that has real benefits for our technological evolution. You are chasing ghosts and the next generations will have you impaled as the idiots of human history whose only occupation was to gamble and make selfies in moronic view-hungry vlogs on the internet.

So yes, hold your currencies like your life depends on it. Shallow and boring.

BTC < 8k USD. The measure of our generation...

Real Benefits? We have felt the potential of block chain, what else do you wish? It can solve the main problems in different types of industries. It is on your own if you want to invest in what you call a "zero-value digital coin". Some of the old timers here are professional in the real world. This is not creating illusions, this is financial freedom. I have designed some solar PV for homes in the real world, but man, I can't miss this train. I want to be in one of the biggest revolution of the industry.

Shallow and boring? Same as stocks.
Our generation? The people who are involved in the block chain tech as below 3 % of the world's population. You were saying?

Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things?
by
Yanisumin
on 02/05/2018, 23:45:42 UTC
I dont know if it is just me or others also experience it. I always set goals financially, set limits in spending and trying hard to save but most of the time no matter how i tell myself to refrain from spending in unnecessary things whenever i see something i really like even if i dont need it i cant resist buying it that cause me to regret later. Are you familiar with this situation?

I have a different case, tho' I can't resist myself from buying these things, but I only buy what makes me fully, or happy, and I think I don't regret that at all. Economically, it is not good to buy these units, but you need to reward yourself and buy things that makes your heart hurt so good. I don't have a memory that I regret buying that thing. I think it's a habit, if you are buying things that you will regret later then you are buying things that is unimportant to you and that is really bad mentally, you will just empty your pockets and then frown at the same time. You must use your $$ on needs or on the things that can make your day complete.

Re: Can we take legal action against Bitcoin cheaters..
by
Yanisumin
on 09/03/2018, 23:46:50 UTC
Of course, you can! But the question is do you have what it takes to stand up against these villains? Lol. I called them villain cause that’s what they deserve to be called. You can take legal action against them, if you know who they are. It’s possible.

And do you have the money to sustain such process?  Grin

Of course, you can! But the question is do you have what it takes to stand up against these villains? Lol. I called them villain cause that’s what they deserve to be called. You can take legal action against them, if you know who they are. It’s possible.

Even you do  not know they could be traced down by the police once the complaint is officially launched. They have a cyber cell team who can trace them and put them behind the bars if the need be or depend upon the crime or theft they have done. One should go and register the complain if you have being cheated.

Hmm, I'm not quite knowledgeable in laws, but right now in my place there are no laws that are regulating cryptocurrencies, so that means if I loss something or when someone cheat, scam or hacked me, there is no way to pursue the case?
I am on my own, right?
And when it comes to international grounds, can I still file a case to the person or what you call villain even if they are in a different country?

Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto?
by
Yanisumin
on 09/03/2018, 23:24:21 UTC
I just quit my office job to have full time in crypto world. I split my time of day to work manything: doing bounty campains, researching good crypto to invest, trading 3 - 4 times per week (not day trading) and may be next time i'll  learn about mining.
Anyone who has been off work like me can share your experiences?
I personally dont suggest quitting job because of working in crypto world, specifically trading. But I think you have a potential, I dont know though because you are just a newbie. I think it depends on your job but if you think you can gain more profit if you focus on crypto then it is good. But keep in mind that the income in crypto is not consistent and time may come that you will have more income in job than in crypto,it depends.

But how can you focus on of them if you do not quit on it? I can't think about anything that you might do if you do not focus on each other. Btw if you can earn double or more than your job, are you not going to quit your job? Or find a better job? You do have more times without doing your daily and with that times you have you can even start your business on your own. I prefer on quiting my job too and want to start a business with better chance of huge income

That is because you already have some funds right now, but to people that are new here. It is not practical to just quit their Jobs because they've heard that you can depend here on income. Signatures, other campaigns, trading , mining has been pretty rough all over the years, and we all know that, so my advice for newcomers, make the best out in that two field so when one doesn't go well, you have some backup on the other one.

Trading crypto is not a stable job, it cant guarantee you some amount of earning weekly or monthly, and it involve high risk. So leaving your actual job to work full time with trading crypto is really very dangerous and risky idea. Better to keep tarding as a partial work, and keep your offline job in the same time.

Just think of stock trading or traders, some professional stock traders are still going to work, and they said that it is much difficult to trade in crypto than in stocks because you don't really know what will happen. It is not smart to just depend on a work that might disappear in an instant. Even regular workers get fired from a company. So like I have said before, it is always better to have two options.

Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold
by

on 09/03/2018, 23:05:44 UTC
Bitcoin has defeated gold already.

How can you say that BTC already defeated gold? because of the price?
1 ounce of gold and 1 BTC is two different things.
People must not think it that way, the BTC market cap is still far from gold. It's not all about the price. Its about the adoption, volatility, safety, and ancient value.

I think It's not easy. Gold is the most efficient asset in the world and people want gold everytime in the history. Because gold is meaning glory and wealth. Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency not. Roll Eyes

Yes, and its value will go up and will drastically increase in the next years, as an asset and as a jewelry it is unbeatable. I want BTC to have a credibility like this, but this would take decades before that happens.

Re: Is bitcoin really secure
by
Yanisumin
on 09/03/2018, 18:02:49 UTC
Bitcoin is not much safe when you buy in case of scam, like seller do not deliver service then you can do nothing. But in case of privacy its save, no verification, no identity, nothing.

This means that this is not BTC's fault. It is your own carelessness that leads you to that point. Like real wallet it can be stolen if not keep in a safe place or if you choose to trust a wrong person.

Some people invest some if not all of thier asset in bitcoin. They are lured by its growing up value its equivalent to fiat currency but is bitcoin really safe and secure.? What do you think.,
As far as i know, bitcoin is secure but it is not safe hackers. If a hacker wants to hack your account or wallet, that hacker will do everything that he can to hack your account or wallet. But to prevent that to happen, make multiple accounts and wallets. Also, just keep your accounts private even to your family and friends.

SHA-256 is very strong mate, if you are careful enough or when you know how to avoid phishing and know how to safeguard your computer, if the hacker don't know your address or keys, he will just die trying to hack your coins. Even if he has done everything he could.

Re: Five common mistakes made by Bitcoin users
by
Yanisumin
on 03/03/2018, 23:33:51 UTC
1. Do not remember electronic wallet password
2. Do not back up your wallet
3. Do not research new services
4. Buy and sell based on feelings
5. Leave your money in the electronic money floor
so far reaching this rank, only one of thos that i have made, not remembering my ectronic wallet pasword and i gues this is certain specially for the newbies or those just starting their career in this community.but other than that i made no mistakes at all

I don't know how long are you in the internet world before you got here, but the first people who got here before the mainstream of cryptocurrecies are those who are internet geek. That means they have a pretty good foundation on what is the right thing to do on the internet and they are always double check what are they doing online. Those newcomers in the crypto world (mainly because they smelled some money) came here without proper knowledge so they are much prone to hackers.
They really don't know how this thins work and they don't have proper knowledge in the technical aspects.
The worst is that they will try anything just to have some cash that's why they are easily persuaded by scammers.

There are steps on how to stay safe online and one thing for sure is your computer must be secured and you must know a lot of stuffs about bookmarking proper sited and to click what is right or not.

Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ?
by
Yanisumin
on 03/03/2018, 21:59:59 UTC
Everything is luck man, no math no shit  Grin

Most of them depends upon your luck and only lucky people get those jackpot. Few games do exists where you require a good experience and skills to win those gambling else like roulette, computer slot machines etc are the luck based games.

There's no math formula could make you always win steadily, the only reliable math you can use as reference in gambling are when a lot of math experts says that no chance for you to win against the house, the odds created to beat players in the long run , that's how the real math work.

The house is also doing mathematics, I've even heard some people who got banned in casino by doing the card counting so they won't let a strategy go on the loose and take all their money. That club is always unfair to the players.

I highly doubt it.  Perhaps maths could help in calculating and understanding the different permutations and odds of winning but ultimately wining in gambling is mostly dependent on luck. Even the most strategic minded gamblers still can’t always win against the house despite their strategy.  If this was to be the case, many would have made massive wins in casinos based on their knowledge or expertise in maths.

Maths can help and there is no denying that, but there is no person that can play and solve for all those possibilities, well, except for card counting which you need some serious skills there too. But it's true that if the casino will be beaten by just this then there won't be any casinos anymore. Like banks it is regulated and they are implying rules to change the game.

Some people invest some if not all of thier asset in bitcoin. They are lured by its growing up value its equivalent to fiat currency but is bitcoin really safe and secure.? What do you think.,

SHA-256 is very strong.  It's not like the incremental step from MD5 to SHA1.  It can last several decades unless there's some massive breakthrough attack.

-Satoshi

I am not a professional programmer or software specialist to explain this all to you, but read some stuffs about SHA-256 or how secured is the blockchain, youll probably get it in no time specially when you are in the information technology field. SHA is pure mathematics and there is no known equation that can crack this wide open for now.

Nothing is really secure on this planet, not even the planet itself!
But what you think is safe, the "real money" is actually the biggest scam you can think about, and it can crash in every moment.
So, bitcoin, even not 100% safe, is for sure much more safe than any fiat currency.

The technology behind this is safe for now, but we will see some major improvements if someone will be able to beat this, I think they would at least need another 50 years to do that.

Re: Is technical analysis useful?
by

on 03/03/2018, 20:36:43 UTC
Do you believe in the reliability of information obtained by technical analysis on crypto-currency market?

It is depend on your analysis also some time we get profit by technical analysis on crypto currency but every time technical analysis not work properly. I use it but mostly i see some predictions and i guess if you do trade with predictions wise then it has more chances to make profit on crypto currency market.

I do trade on stocks (but not full time) before I trade here in crypto. There are so many books in stock trading and yes, technical analysis can work in stock trading because companies are too centralized, and I know some people who trade stocks. It is a very different story here in crypto, in these last few months I am observing how the technical analysis can predict the prices, or how close it is on a target price, then sell and buy are an unpredictable line. No one can know millions of decisions, the only thing that they can do is do some panic, selling so that people will ride the waves and then but the DIP and sell at the all time high. See some support in order to keep safe, but BTC in three months from now?
Even a supercomputer won't be able to know that

Re: Sell your house for investment in btc.
by
Yanisumin
on 03/03/2018, 20:26:03 UTC
I am better using my idle money to invest on bitcoin rather than selling my house. Its much wise if we are using money that we can afford to lose. Bitcoin price have high valatile and still unpredictable. Its very risky if you sell your house to buy bitcoin

It is not always smart to sell the things that you already established. Even if you are deeply enthusiastic about this currency, if everything goes wrong, then in a few years from now, you might be living in the streets. People work work just to establish a house. Sell some Jewelries or watched, but not the house.

Smiley Smiley most people do not agree with this investment method too risky you know the encrypted money market has a strong volatility remember in a few years ago this bitcoin has several months market value that is reduced by 90% if it own a home or borrow a loans so to invest then such things must not be done.there are many opportunity always but if you take a risk you just lose you wealth more.I admit that a bitcoin investment has always given advantage but if I use another way like to buy bitcoins I have not dared .there is a way to differentiate and for me what I use is bitcoin .I work very hard so I can assemble and need to be patience so you come long to our future to accumulate a lot of it in bitcoin and then I got more bitcoin .in that reason I suppose to invest in bitcoin because of the many that I accumulated money good for investing for so we know how to grow its not the way to sell properties and houses for using investment reason .there are many ways how to invest for your own goal.I mean there are many ways you can develop it in bitcoin like we talk about investment.

If I will know BTC way back in the year 2010-2011, I might sell my properties because only a few knew the potential it can bring but right now above 15K$, this is a very high risk decision specially for people who are just barely getting by.

Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry?
by
Yanisumin
on 02/03/2018, 23:55:52 UTC
Title.

So. Electric cars are gaining in popularity, therefore the popularity of gasoline will be going down. Won't the price go down, leaving the oil industry in trouble?
I think that in the next few years electric cars will not be as popular as fuel powered cars because we can still mine those fossil fuels but supply are reaching scarcity. And as far as I know, there are still methods of producing electricity derived from fuels also (so oil industry will never go bankrupt). For now, let the fuel reign in the realm of automotive industry. Who knows after all the oil rigs dry out, electric cars will be famous. Smiley

This is the first time I've heard this, I will do research on this one, you mean they are recycling some kind of fuels?
I think they will go bankrupt if there is nothing to mine. Experts have said that the fuel mining will last for only a 100 years, and that's a very short time, but a long time for innovations of the electric cars. They won't destroy Syria and kill millions, if they are not desperate enough to get an oil mine.

For me, in the West, I think Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder have the shot in the Western Conference to dethrone the Defending Champs because the Housten Rockets depth especially now with Joe Johnson added have a chance to fight against the Warriors as for Oklahoma City with much more game remaining before the postseason if the Chemistry of their big three goes so well GSW will be find it hard to beat them.
Yeah the Golden State Warriors are going to have it tough when they face the likes of the Rockets and OKC Thunder in the playoffs and am very certain that they are not going to make it at all when to even claim the conference championship.

I agree with the both of you. Those teams have put up a solid team this year and it will make a big difference to challenge GSW in the West. Right now we are seeing that GSW is somewhat inconsistent.

As for the East, Toronto and Boston to challenge Cavs. Its gonna be exciting to see how everything will progress after the all star break because we are getting closer to the playoffs.

GSW could still win for this year as they have the edge on there Chemistry and Talents as compared to those teams that has newly acquired players thru trades. Championship is a game of adjustments where those chemistry, talents and coaching are necessary.

Warriors should easily find themselves in the finals of play-offs they clearly have been the best team out there in the past three years atleast they could face some problems only if they face the Cavs or Rockets before the finals. I hope that we get to see them both in the finals it will much more interesting games then Cleavland. The Cavs improved their squad It's going to take a while to find the right rotations. We may even need a trade if players like JR & TT don't step up and guys like Shump don't start playing within their games. but I doubt that they can be finalist this year maybe next year and that if they kept LeBron .

They won't face the cavs before finals because they are in a two different conference. And I don't think the Cavs have improved their roster, they trade IT again and they don't have Irving. Remember that Irving last year always almost have the 20% - 30 % of the teams points every game and he is a very clutch player which are necessary to win close games. I don't know, Lebron is a basketball hercules but I cant see them winning on the conference this season.
The rockets and warriors match up in the playoffs will be an earth shaking games, Im hoping that Harden will get that MVP trophy this year.

great performance in the night for S.Curry with 44 points 6 rebounds and 10 assists and an incredible 8/11 by 3 points. Golden state won against the tough Los Angeles Clippers 134-127.

Oklahoma won against Sacramento 110-107 with the usual triple-double of Westbrook (18th in this season).
Oklahoma is fighting for third place!

Cleveland is a team under construction and in fact lost 110-103 against Washington. Cleveland is likely to lose other positions in his conference.

They might not make it in the CF, unless lebron goes for mamba mentality. The Zone in every game, in every possible shots and way.

Have watched Lebron playing before the trades were done and now after.
And it is a complete overhaul of how his play has been.
It is uncanny really to see him dominating the boards again and the near blow out in the game last night was very cool to witness him going fast break again just to crush it.
It is very cool to see him going into full beast mode again right before the playoff start up again.

Lebron James plays are different every playoffs, he is putting much more effort than anyone in the league and I have seen that a couple of times every finals, but we can't changed the fact the everyone has their own limitations due to aging and he is past his prime. It is good to know that after the trade cleveland have improved, his presence can make everyone more stronger in the floor and hes play making is top notch, that is his key now to win a championship.

What happen to the cavaliers, they lose twice in a row already against the struggling Spurs.
I really thought they can easily win the game tonight since they are coming from a loss and they need to bounce back hard, so this line up is not working again?

That means that never underestimate the Spurs coach.  Grin

Amazing Dirk Nowitzki, he is the sixth player in the history of the NBA with at least 31,000 points!
he next year will make a record: 20 seasons in the same team (obviously the Dallas Maverick)

Nowitzki is the strongest international player, leading the Dallas mavericks to the title。

Its unique leg jumper is known, the old king because his old dream of, have become more and more happy, then present today and improve step by step on the score history list, it is to make the fans happy.

His fadeaway is untouchable tho', not sure what happened in defending their championship title way back in 2012.

I think around 3% because there are a lot of people using bitcoin already but there are also a lot of fake accounts from the same person we cannot see trough them all so yes but i still don't think that in 2 years bitcoin can go higher than 3%.

It can be measured by how many addresses are generated, and because an individual can use more than one address, this is much harder to count unless some statistics groups conduct a legit survey. This currency is worldwide, it can't be count so easily. They can only use historical datas to speculate what is the percentage of people that might be using BTC in 2020 and beyond. I have watched some pretty informational video (cant remember where) regarding this topic and regarding the effect of the number of users to BTC's price. That was just pure mathematical computations but worth considering for.

The services that can be paid by BTC must increased in order for the demand to be bloomed and in order for many people know about this currency and its edge to other traditional currencies thus increasing its users and owners.

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

How about switching from trading to investing. Picking out a few gems and hold on to them? Pick out a few promising ICOs and hold onto the coins?
Just try to look at what you would have made if you did not trade in the last 2 years .. and instead would had if you had invested?

Or is the reason of your high deposit, that you have made all these BTC by investing in the first place? Anyway, you are sitting on a nice stake, choose wisely and do not let anyone flirt you into any sort of scam.

I invested in some ICO's last year and yes, they are really giving promising returns (especially MNX), trading coins now is quite hard, unlike in the mid 2017 and early 2016 where you can be a one time big time in trading, it is really difficult to find a coin that will pump up and will show promising returns that is one of the reasons why I turned to investing, what I don't like in investing is that they will have a run for your money when they chose not to develop the roadmap of their project and if it is a scam. That is a pretty risky choice yet can bring you 20 times return in just months if the project is well managed and developed.

I'm still waiting for Exscudo BTW.
