I have one of those smart fridges with a lcd and it even has WiFi and amazon for ordering
Supplies. Im sure it have a powerful gpu right? Also my toaster has is a computarized one I think it also has an lcd and chip , there must be some software I can install maybe via WiFi right ?
Also my washer and dryer and only a year old and heavily automated and computerized with WiFi go of course , maybe the same fridge software could be configure to mine something simple like litecoin or diash?

Guys, I will receive my unit on the 4th of October by DHL.
I had to pay for it. It's ok. Because
1) I want to help the comunity
2) Based on my tech knowledge this miner can be real
3) $2500 is not a big risk
4) I don't see how a someone could scam people selling something for $2500 and shipping it right away. If I want to scam someone I sell something in PRE ORDER. I cash as much as possible and then bye bye. THis like 1+1=2

Once delivered I will take photos/video/all and post. If it's real then we have a new FPGA miner. If it's not real then I have list $2500.

Try to ask about another carrier like EMS or regular post. They also provide tracking number. Delivery time could be longer, but you definitely will receive your order.
I Ordered 5 Onda D1800 motherboards recently from Letine/Alibaba and got them shipped via DHL using the same address, so I'm wondering why they can't ship?
Anyway will try to ask for another shipment method.

As we stated the reason for not being able to ship out was because there are more regulations and paperwork to fill out to ship to your country and we did not meet the shipping deadline because of the Chinese New Year Holiday that just started in China. Well, I'm pretty disappointed, I got no single answer for all the emails I sent to info@octominer.com about my shipment, I'm still waiting for my motherboard since 24 Jan.
I was supposed to get my motherboard in March batch...
that lag is really brutal sometimes. gotta fix that, that's unacceptable. I'm getting gateway timeout for last 20 minutes. Happened the other day for an hour.
Moved recently all my rigs to HiveOS, so far so good, but recently got disapointed because of the lags.
It seems servers have some scalability issues since the OS gained in popularity, so admins needs to invest in more robust servers. I don't think this is problematic, they are obviously making money...
Have some old photos of some server cases I built.
Since there no possibility to buy mining server cases in my country, I converted some old HP ML350/370 G3 and G4 servers I got for free into this :

Had a bad experience with Octominer,
I orderd the motherboard on 24 Jan and sent an email to ask about shipping method to my country, they answered and said that they can send using DHL.

- what is the shipping date of the next batch of motherboards ?
- you sell only the motherboard with intel 3865u processor ?
- I do not see an RJ45 port on the pictures of the 4U RACK CHASSIS !
- Is the power cable length of the Octominer Server PSU so long enough to connect to all the GPUs in the 4U RACK CHASSIS ?
- what is the discount for the purchase of 10 units (MOTHERBOARD / SERVER PSU / RACK CHASSIS / SSD 120 GB / RAM 8 GB) ?

This is actually a good question, where the hell is the network port on the 4U chassis?
Supposed to be on the rear side of the case, but can't see it on the pictures.
I suppose owners will need to drill a hole...
Very nice os, I like the interface and the easy oc settings and bios flashing.
I moved 3 rigs which had some stability problems on windows, issue fixed now. Will move the rest later after further testings.

How can you sure this is not a scam? Unknown seller from china, domain registered 2 months ago, seller offering only one product in addition of a case...

How many fan headers are available? I can see only one in the provided pictures. If yes, I guess we will need to use an external fan controller for case fans.

I saw all your good feedbacks about riserless motherboards so I purchased 2 Onda 6 GPU boards from Alibaba. They work like a charm but i'm struggling keeping them inside a closed case with a low CFM fans, GPUs are heating too much.
I tried to use some spare Deltas 252 CFM fans, but I can't find in BIOS how to lower fan header voltage in order to decrease the RPM and consumption.
I don't want to keep them at 100% because of noise and don't think the motherboard can handle 3 fans at 3.9A each.
Any ideas?
