Yes, sort of, difficulty is primarily based on the global pool hash rate, and it generally does not change quickly. It designed to ensure that that each round occurs every 2.5 mins to solve a give problem to validate the block to the blockchain. I think you mean by difficulty increase a reduction in payouts per round? so twice as much work is required for the same amount of coin, and I believe thats a while away...

In the BTCZ market there are entries like:

Market Details:
24hr Max buy  0.00001888 BTC  |  24hr Min sell  0.0000009 BTC

This indicates that the BTCZ price has gone as high as 0.00001888 etc.... wtf? This makes not sense since there are lots of trades queued in the market below that price that were not matched. This looks as dodgy as....

Whats going on with tradesatoshi withdrawls? Incoming funds were done very quickly... outgoing, not so much, and appear to be "nowhere".

It's not showing in pending and has yet not appeared in my wallet.... I don't think we should be recommending this exchange at all... It's problem after problem after problem with tradesatoshi.

I hear what your saying... but I'm also still trying to login to tradesatoshi and load the market...

I have to say I don't understand why we are really not pushing for better exchanges. Tradesatoshi is just horrible, and thats assuming you can get into it.... most of the time I have tried it's down..... People keep saying it's about PR, and yet, what are we saying by not trying to get it on better exchanges. IMO we are just saying it's another meh coin to go along with the 1000's others....

There are quite a few equihash based coins for mining now... if btcz allowed for dual mining with other coins, like ZEC or ZEN it would be awesome. I don't understand dual mining or if it's possible with BTCZ... but it would be awesome.

What is the best miner to use?

I'm currently running ccminer 32bit 2.2.3 and thats working better than 64 bit by a few hashes. I've noticed some optimised miners, but they seem to have virus's in them.... I've also noticed that the suprnova hash rate is well down on my stated hash rates, by about 25%+... which is also consistent with claimed daily rates with what to mine etc....

SO I'm probably using the wrong pool, and/or the wrong miner....

Assistance appreciated.

Exchange rate issues.

I'm noticing a lot of exchange rate issues, There is a lot of stale pricing going into websites such as whattomine, as well as wallets like MyBitcoinZ, in most cases the current conversion rate to USD is almost twice as much as the actual exchange rate.

If you want people to take the coin seriously you need to make sure they are getting consistent accurate rates... who knows how many people are out there currently mining based on "advertised" rates.

No, the wallet had rebuilt fine with the correct balance prior to transfer of funds, I do not believe the two are related.

In any case it appears to have come good, as most recent payments are coming through automatically.

My Wallet 'MyBitcoinZ" updated to new servers this morning, rebuilt itself etc, I then sent a new payment to it (address as stated in the receive section, copy to clipboard), but it has not come through. Normally this would be a very quick, is there a delay, are there issues with the backend servers?

UPDATE, The new transaction came through, but only when I scanned for updates. (BUG?)

Guys, why not use Facebook to vote? at least that way you can vet the users to a page, prior to voting?

SO... is there a new clean version of the file anywhere for windows, 32bit / 7.5 Cuda, as this seems to work the best? surely there must be someone in here who can provide a clean file with some decent ethics.

The files upload have trojans according to windows defender, it does not like them, and deletes them.

Trojan:Win32/Spursint.F!cl (Severe).

Does anyone have any current 'real' stats on which way is better to mine.

I have 3 x 1080ti's, and I've been trialing both Skein and Groesti via TBF, but due to the fairly poor graphs and long term stats it's pretty hard to workout whats going on unless I leave it for days to get a good average....

I'm currently configured to get about 1850 MH/s with skein, and ~320 with Groesti (reported at miner).

Skein is reporting more in the estimate, where as Groesti seems to be a bit all over the place, but it 'appears' to actually drop more coin into the wallet....
