Among the things within their control, the only major fault I see is failing to maintain a strong presence in the online poker community.  If I was offering more game formats than any other site and had the lowest rake around, I'd be shouting it from the rooftop. High miners' fees, which are out of their control, may prompt them to reconsider accepting other crypto.  The BTC-only thing was fine for a while, but is now holding them back.

They said they were going to change the way krill are awarded under the new system. They haven't done that, so they currently have a VIP program that's not worth much.

They said they were going to support the Bitcoin Gold fork. They haven't done that. You might want to check how much the BTG they're holding for you is worth.

They continually remove/reduce krillrolls and guarantee tournaments with no explanation and no warning. They have the resources to continually futz with the tournament schedule and yet every change they make is negative.

They said they were going to have more of a promotional presence in 2018, instead they've completely vanished.

I'm not as negative as DarkDays but I'm also not interested in redepositing on the site, or holding any money there, under the current state of play.

What software will you be using? Your website has a screenshot of WPN software. But it also says you will have mixed games and OFC, which WPN doesn't support.

What are you going to do to get players? As you may have noticed, acquiring critical mass for a poker site is extremely difficult even if using a currency most people think they understand.

it sounds silly to sit around each tournament and send prize manually, probably they did'nt have the money or skillset to program paymaent automation frontend or whatever it's called Tongue

hope they get their act together, i'd really love to play there!

Everything except these freerolls is denominated in mBTC. I'm sure they have some long term plan for getting Pokercoin working in the software and it just isn't there yet.

The software is sort of a weirdly half-featured Enterra, so it should have all of the basic functionality, it's just trying to use two currencies on top of each other is weird.

Thanks for mentioning 64Spades, by the way, I had missed them somehow. Agreed that the Pokercoin folks should look at it, as it's a good example of what an Enterra system ought to look like.

The prize slot of the tournament is terribly bad. Only the winner??? Mind you it will not encourage players to play. Me alone doubts that there's manipulation in here; that the funds will goes back to the organizer! If you want fair distribution and etc. give it the place winners.

I won two of them yesterday, so they're not rigged. But the way they pay out in Pokercoin is to manually send POKER to your wallet after the tournament, so I can see why they don't want to have multiple payouts. (Also, while there are 12-16 players registered, only three or four actually show up, so winner-take-all isn't unreasonable right now.) I agree that this should be fixed somehow but I understand why it's the way it is right now.

mBTC tournaments seem like they will work normally, though I have't seen one run.

It would be useful if you started a thread in the Gambling subforum for the poker room.

Why is only NLHE activated? Enterra supports a lot of games, and I hope you will offer them, especially open-face Chinese which is popular elsewhere.

Was playing on this site a couple of years ago and found my old account still working, with balance in. Requested a withdrawal, hope they process. Left ~15$ worth of chips back then, now worth like 460$ something, lmao.

LE: just got it, sweet Cheesy I now feel like an investor ))

but wait...there's MOAR!

In a questionable management decision, SWC spent a lot of time and effort making sure that when Bitcoin Cash forked, they would split it for players and players can request a cashout of the BCH equivalent of the BTC that was in their account at the time of the fork. So, if you had 0.025 BTC in your SWC account, you now also have 0.025 BCH, which is worth about $47 at the moment. Just send an e-mail to bch@swcpoker.eu and it will auto-send instructions on how to claim. So you invested in BCH without even knowing it! Sick investor life imo.

They said they were going to do this with Bitcoin Gold as well, but as far as I can tell haven't implemented it. I should probably email them about mine.

Got caught up for a bit in the Patreon nonsense and getting a new computer. But here's some thing new I really like, "Meditative Shoebill." Shoebills are wonderfully weird.

They've invested too much time, effort, and money on developing a new client to turn back now - whether it's the primary concern of the players or not.

Do you have any actual evidence of this or just an email from SwC saying so? Maybe I should be less skeptical but at this point...

Rakeback will still be there, but it makes more sense to MASSIVELY DECREASE RAKE than to offer 50% tablestarter, which discourages 4+ games.

They could also do like UB did, where if you were one of the first two players at a table you got table-starter rakeback for an hour regardless of how many people joined.

It begs the question: should we stop playing until "early '18"?

This is my plan. I have a tiny bit of money on there from my last rakeback payment and am playing the no-rake games when I really feel like some OFC. But no real games until something changes for the better.

Video poker is something like the real poker for the beginners because it allows you to play all the tips and tricks that gamblers use in real pokers so one cannot say that it has no use. Also it consists of all the rules and regulations as in real poking so it’s a good platform to learn what poking is.

Take it from someone who has won thousands of USD at both - none of what you've said here is true. You may be reading "video poker" as "online poker"? Video poker is a slot machine game. It is nothing like poker.

Regarding TwoPlusTwo, they asked us for a monthly payment to continue answering questions on their forum and they did not accept Bitcoin.

That's to have your own self-moderated forum.  Anyone is allowed to post on the site for free.  There are tons of sites that have representatives that post on 2p2 that haven't paid to have their own self-moderated forum.  If they told you differently you should post those emails, it would cause a ton of outrage and improve your standing.

This is correct. 2+2 rep clarifies here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showpost.php?p=53201044&postcount=1242

don't be too hard on them! after all, SwC is a community project and not a full-blown casino, right?!

As far as I'm aware there is absolutely no way in which SwC could be fairly described as a community project.

1. Overkrill MTT is on Sunday, we may bring them back to other days.

This is hardly an answer to the question. You don't need to tell us they're not there. We noticed.

In early 2018 we will show the community an improved SwC Poker.

Well, when this happens, and if it includes actually promoting the site rather than cutting promos consistently, you might see me paying rake again.
