Re: Another example on why we should be quiet and not flaunt our crypto in public
by
Ziskinberg
on 02/09/2025, 17:41:01 UTC
Keeping your finances secret is the best thing to do. The problem is, how do you do that? Whether it's cryptocurrencies or other assets, the car we drive, the clothes and accessories we wear, can attract the attention of anyone with bad intentions who is looking for someone to rob. Even if you don't disclose your crypto investments on social media, you need to be just as discreet in your daily life.

There is no way you can hide your wealth, it will also show, through your dressing and physical assets. And there is no how you will have money and you won't have good comfort. Because we hustle everyday to have a better life styles, But because this part the world i come from, once you are doing well for yourself , people will start to bring you down.

The only thing you can avoid is to let people your source fund, is good for them to see it in your appearance than knowing how you get your money. Stay away from any thing that will expose your source of income. keep people in the dark.  then mind what you say in public or among friends.

Looks can still be deceiving. Even if you wear those expensive outfits, that won’t guarantee that you’re indeed rich. So yeah, it’s okay to dress up with expensive ones, but letting know the public that you have crypto assets and you are currently on the process of accumulating more, that will definitely make your life at risk.

Choose to be low key instead. When it comes to your source of income and the amount of funds you are earning, keep it privately. No one deserves to know it but only yourself. Be silent and stay away from flaunting your riches as much as possible.

Re: What was your first impression of how Bitcoin works?
by
Ziskinberg
on 02/09/2025, 15:26:21 UTC
Honestly, my first impression about bitcoin is that it’s a get-rich-quick tool that’s why a lot have been dying to own bitcoin. But good thing I came to the forum and realized that it was actually a big misconception, that bitcoin is never a get-rich-quick, but it’s a reliable digital currency and a profitable investment as well.

Now, just to be clear, we can still get rich with bitcoin but it’s a long process though and we have to accumulate good amount of bitcoin first so that if ever its value reaches a very excellent price, then we can sell our coins and gain massive profits. Even owning one bitcoin in our country turns you a millionaire already, so how much more if you happened to own substantial amount.

Re: Fundora - Thurman WBC Super Welterweight Championship October 25, 2025

I consider Thurman the underdog in this fight, not because of his long rest, but more on Fundora's skills, height, and youth advantages.

Not sure if the odds are accurate, but looking at the numbers in the link, it feels like Fundora is overvalued. He’s listed at -750 while Thurman is at +470.
https://www.proboxingodds.com/events/2025-10-26-2307

With that kind of line, I’d be more tempted to take Thurman. Hard to resist that value knowing he’s still a quality fighter.

Re: How do you handle tilt during a losing streak?
by
Ziskinberg
on 02/09/2025, 14:01:39 UTC
You just need to learn from your mistakes. Once you’ve gone through a losing streak and felt the tilt, that’s already a bad sign. For sure it will lead to more losses since you’re no longer gambling with the right strategy, you’re just following your emotions. I’d say take it as a lesson so the next time, you won’t do it again. But if you keep repeating the same thing, then obviously gambling is dangerous for you.

Re: Are slots rigged or Just math at work?
by
Ziskinberg
on 02/09/2025, 09:13:51 UTC

On reputable sites, especially on the ones presented on this forum, there's no such thing as "casinos tweak the games to make sure you lose eventually". When you have a long losing streak - it's just pure probability catching up with you, or as we here call it "bad luck".

We can assume that way since the casino is reputable, but we also can’t be too confident saying they can’t tweak the games. It’s usually not the casino itself but the game providers who could do that if they wanted to. There’s always that possibility, especially since casinos generate huge revenue and providers might have a share in it depending on their agreement (which I believe they do).

So in the end, if we want to enjoy gambling, we just have to trust them. And if we keep losing, maybe it’s best to stop and just look for another casino. That’s not even hard to do since there are plenty of reputable casinos online, just start by checking the ones recommended here in the forum.

Re: Slots or Casino are designed for people to lose.
by
Ziskinberg
on 02/09/2025, 08:58:54 UTC
This is not true @op, no gambling system was designed to make everyone lose.
What OP probably meant is that the casino beats us all in the long run, and that’s true, especially with slots since the house edge is so high. How can we expect to beat the casino if we’re constantly playing against that edge? Every spin, the house advantage is there.

The only time we really “win” is if we get extremely lucky and hit a big multiplier. But for most of us, it ends in losses, which just makes the casinos more profitable. At the end of the day, it’s up to us, if we insist on playing and still believe we can somehow beat it, then that’s exactly what the casinos want.

Re: Riding the storm of bear market
by
Ziskinberg
on 01/09/2025, 21:59:29 UTC
Whether it’s bear market or bullish market, one should always deal the market with knowledge and skills because the more you’re inclined on dealing the market risks, the higher chances you’ll get successful with your investment. Most especially when the market is bearish, where new investors are panicking and selling at loss, now if you do that, it’s like you don’t invest for future profits but definitely you invest to lose them.

Know when to sell and when to hold. If a market is bearish, it opens new opportunities to add more bitcoin on your portfolio so keep buying in dips.

Re: Risks

All investments have their own individual risks. But the more risky an investment is, then the more you should be wiser and smarter in managing your investment. Best example is crypto investment where you have to be careful with your decision making because one wrong decision will put your investment at risk. But even in physical investment you have to be cautious as well because the more you’re not inclined to the kind of investment you are putting your money, the more you become prone to mistakes and losses in the end.

Re: Illusion of control
by
Ziskinberg
on 01/09/2025, 14:34:33 UTC
I believe the use of control in gambling is best suited for minimizing losses and staying within limits, because you can’t really control your wins. If you’re good at gambling and you know when to push, you can be greedy and maximize profit. But if you’re not careful and don’t have control, most likely you’ll end up losing a lot. Even if you set a budget or bankroll just for gambling, once you lose control you go stupid and start betting beyond what you can afford, and that’s how addiction happens.

Personally, I use control when I’m on a losing run. But when I’m winning, I seize the moment, because luck doesn’t stick around all day.
When you feel you’re lucky, go big or go home.

What do you guys think, would the PBA be more fun to watch with him in it?

“Mr. Long Bomb” is all over social media right now since he claimed he’s better than Curry. To be fair, he does have some range, but he’s not that athletic so defenders can adjust to him and he’ll likely struggle.

Still, with the PBA getting kinda dry these days, do you think if he actually gets invited and drafted, it could bring back some excitement to the league?

Re: If Winning and Losing Leads to Gambling Addiction, Is There Really no Way Out?
by
Ziskinberg
on 01/09/2025, 06:20:11 UTC
TLDR; it’s really our responsibility as gamblers to take care of ourselves. The problem is, a lot of people see gambling as a way to make easy money, and that kind of mindset can easily lead to addiction.

Another thing, I always hear people blaming casinos or the industry for their addiction, but in reality it’s their own choice to gamble and their own failure to manage the risk. At the end of the day it depends on the person, if we fall into severe addiction, then we also have to accept that it’s on us.

It's probably escape mechanism on your end or you want to find any excuses for your loses. And I might say that majority of us here could go on that kind of mentality, winning in the beginning and then losing in the end.

That’s more like it, because OP seems established in the forum so I don’t think he’d even play on a casino that doesn’t have a good reputation. If it was really rigged, then for sure a lot of gamblers would be complaining, but so far I haven’t seen many rig-suspicion complaints on the popular casinos here.

Maybe it’s just a phase, once that losing streak is over, it’ll pass. It’s sad, but that’s really part of gambling.
Losing streaks are mostly experienced by us players, not by the casinos.

Re: Bitcoin withdrawal suspension saga: why self custody is the best
by
Ziskinberg
on 30/08/2025, 22:29:58 UTC
So of recent many people got there withdrawal suspended due to a potential poisoning address attack after receiving payment for rainbet campaign managed by Hhampuz, this is common with KuCoin exchange users
How did you get that information? Is there any place the exchange mentions about blacklisted transactions?

All I see is two similar addresses show mempool show a warning like it could be an attack but if it's actually two different addresses, then there should be no problem with that. Certainly, exchange's blacklisting seems weird to me.
I agree, there doesn’t seem to be any report of a lot of accounts being blacklisted or suspended just because of that suspicion. It’s understandable if the system flags it and puts a temporary suspension while under investigation. But once they see there’s no real intention to hack or abuse the system, they usually reopen withdrawals.

I think OP is just being extra careful, but without solid proof of a violation, that kind of fear shouldn’t really be there.

Re: What’s Your Profit Goal in Sports Betting – 100% Daily or 10% Daily?
by
Ziskinberg
on 30/08/2025, 12:31:07 UTC
The thing is, I stopped setting such targets when I stopped assuming that having such consistent profit in sports betting can be achieved. Definitely, some good days can produce a very significant profit that could even make you start feeling like you are a genius in prediction but on a bad day, you will even regret why you decided to bet that day. In the past, I will set a very small target knowing that it can easily be met but I don't set profit targets now, once I have win some bets in a day, I don't bet again till next time.
\
Then obviously you’re not really in for a challenge, you’re just gambling for fun. Nothing wrong with that, but if we’re gonna share thoughts in this topic, the answer should be based on the situation. Of course, not everyone has that kind of bankroll, but just in case we ever reach that level, as for me I’d go slowly. I won’t be greedy and I’d be happy with 10% profit per day. Honestly that’s already almost impossible to keep on average, so better to stay grounded than chase crazy numbers.

I know a lot of us are still criticizing Bronny saying he only made it to the NBA because of his father. but with the latest developments, what do you guys think now?

His G League numbers have been getting better, you can see some growth in his game. Do you think this is enough for him to earn good minutes in the coming season, or will he still just ride the bench most of the time?

Re: I'm wealthy and unsuccessful
by
Ziskinberg
on 29/08/2025, 21:56:01 UTC
That's how people view how wealthy and successful a person is, through material possessions. Owning a house, a car, and being able to travel the world. I understand your point OP, that wealth doesn't really come from material things. And if you happen to accept that you're wealthy, it's actually how you view the world. If you economically think that not owning a car is fine, then that's fine. You don't need any validation from these people who happen to pay mortgage and car payments, which makes them cringe when the due date is near. At the end of the day, it's how you live your life. If you happen to enjoy it with or without those things, as long as you're not drowning in debt, I guess that's one of the definitions of the real financial freedom and success.
Financial wealth is mostly gaining misconceptions. Some just see it as merely buying house and lot, cars and different assets, and they find theirselves already wealthy and successful, even if they know they are drown in debt. However for me, the real wealthy and successful are those who stay silent behind their achievements and success in life. No need for validations, because we don’t live for others but we live for our own selves.

Don’t let others define you. If you know you are wealthy and successful on your own, then continue doing it and moving forward. Focus on positive and constructive motivations, do not dwell on people who have opposite views from yours.

Re: The acceptance of Bitcoin by the younger generation to me is a welcome developme
by
Ziskinberg
on 29/08/2025, 21:15:18 UTC
This generation is actually looking for were to invest their money and earn returns. The banks are not helping here because even if you save your money in the bank it amounts to nothing because the interest rate is so low.
Do not save your money in a bank if you aim to experience good returns, but push yourself to invest and reinvest, that’s the best possible way to acquire maximum returns in the long run.

Bitcoin acceptance and adoption will always lead to its greater heights, this isn’t just for the young minds, but even the old ones. As long as there is continuous positive feedback about bitcoin and that people are also moving forward on bitcoin, it will definitely pave way for bitcoin to a new growth and development.

Re: Failure is never final
by
Ziskinberg
on 29/08/2025, 19:43:42 UTC
While that is true we have to make sure we know what we are doing.
We should keep trying different strategies and keep improvising and that is how we learn.
On the other hand, at some point of time, we must acknowledge the fact trading is not that easy.
If we just keep losing money while trading then probably trading is not meant for us.
It is better to hold the coins instead.
Where success has not met yet, then there’s always good reason to keep trying. We don’t want to settle on anything less, on a failure that we can’t justify, so as much as possible do not set limits on something wherein you know you still have a lot more to show, a lot more potentials to prove.

Failure is just a starting point, you don’t just end there, but you’re bound to cross that point and prove to yourself that failure is just part of the process, until you finally reach your goal of success.
