Re: HeatherAI Automated Bots For Cryptsy, BTER, BTCE - 5 Copies @ 0.2 BTC Each!

I tested the BTC-e bot out. I was lucky enough to get the BTC-e bot working the day of the litecoin pump and dump. I can say I am not disappointed in the results. I will admit it takes a little while to get the setting up the buy/sell tab to do what you want. I didn't want to put a lot of trust in the bot at first so I only allowed it to start out using 1.5ltc on btc-e site. By the end of the day, I was over 10ltc and sold them for .03212 btc/Ltc. Part of this was pure dumb luck on the final sale and the rest was whenever the price dropped the bot would sell it and buy back in. That day I did have to keep adjusting the buy/sell due to how fast the price was rising. But once I adjusted it went to work on the new set of prices. This was a very unusual/crazy day I didn't expect it to make that good, and I didn't have to hover over my computer all the time. I used it yesterday 3/22 when the price was more stable and it made around two Ltc, without having to touch anything. I think that's the best part of this program is when the price is stable it just handles the buy/selling without me standing over the computer trying to find out if it's making a profit. I did not use it between the 3/20-3/22 when I turned it back on to see how it did on a more stable trading day. I wasn't in town, this is a beta and no I wasn't going to leave it running while I wasn't at least around to check on it. Once I get more comfortable with it I would. I am going to try out the cryptsy bot sometime this week, and if I like it going to buy it. That site has more trading options and I think it would be the wiser bot for me/myself to purchase. Also remember this only does what you set it up to do. It will only be as good as the settings you set and your strategy. If you loose money its part of the game/learning curve, and you have to rethink your buy/sell ratios.

Yes, I do own some shares on cryptostocks around 100.  This username on bitcoin forums is only 2-3 months old, I am not a troll and I don't post very often on the forums. It was only created so I could ask a question usually I just read and go about my business.  I was just asked to do a review, and this is my honest option of the program, it does have some kinks, I never seen a beta that didn't and I think it will be a sound investment into the future. I have been crypto mining since aug 2013. I only used the btc/ltc trades on the btc-e, I am not good at the btc-usd or btc/rur, ltc/usd, and I have little experience with xpm, The few xpm trades I did I lost badly. Still learning. This is the main reason I am thinking of getting the cryptsy bot verse the btc-e. Down the road, I might have both/all of them if they keep preforming well.

I know there are still a few people mining it(myself inc).  The conversation about this coin has moved on to http://www.reddit.com/r/SynCoin/.  This coins problem currently is the lack of exposure imo.

Increasing the pool fee for the official pool won't help at all. That will just make people jump to another pool. That would only work if every pool operator worked together on a set fee, but then the solominers which you can do will not be part of the fee structure. Your better off with a donation drive. Getting people to donate can be challenging. Most just want others to do the donating and then they reap the rewards of it. I am not sure if its possible but add a donation tab to your existing wallet, most people don't read forums and that's an easy way to get people to all know where and whom to donate to.

How much are you looking for in donations for bounties and such? Also do you have a clear set of projects you wish people to donate towards? The best way I can think of is a updated website that shows where the donations are being used for and how much each lack.

Projects I would have bounties/donation drive for would be a better website lets face it looks like a doge coin copy paste, lacks creativity. An android wallet, a more visually appealing wallet for windows, mac, and Linux with installer, and doesn't feel like bloatware. A better way for securing the wallet other than the same as every other coin. These things will help make people like the coin more, they like new things and don't want to see the same wallet used by everyone. Myself included you need something to make your wallet standout from the crowds. Then you also need a fund for ads that people will actually read or see. Posting an ad on some random website that has little traffic is useless. Then something called altpay, a way to use this coin to pay for real things. I know its possible since the block chain basically records every transaction you could read the block chain put it to a central server and use that server for people to pay. Then update to their wallets. The last thing I just thought of in the last 20secs didn't put much thought into it just was about to send this, and it popped into my head, most likely won't work just a thought.

It's all about the rose colored glasses

the point is why i want to mine this, when even at 1k diff my reward will be the same?

Coin is dead?

can't be dead because reward is always the same , the hashrate doesn't matter lol

if you are making 1k coin per day now, you will be making the same amount even at 10k diff...
So coin just zombies now? Grin
Hashrate is 29MHs total now. Undecided
Do you think it is still waiting for a breakthrough?

Yes,  its waiting for an exposure breakthrough. People are relucent to mine this coin because don't understand a coin that isn't a pump and dump. They bitch about a big premine this coin has 0.
The best part about this coin is the hash rate doesn't matter the lower the hash rate the less syncoins. The current reward is around 9.67 Syncoins per block, think the highest reward was 120 Syncoins per block. Around 3350 blocks have been found so far. My guess without looking it up because I have work to do is there is 1.7 million Syncoins total right now and I would guess that's even too high. That would still make this one of the rarest altcoins out there. That's the beauty of this coin is that it has a built in supply and demand function. Right now the demand isn't there for this coin so the block reward sucks. When the demand goes up, the hash rate goes up, and so does the reward per block. When this gets on an exchange it will help with the demand if the price is right.
Yes,  there is just one dev developing this coin currently. I am sure he/she has a real life job to work at as well so it will take time for one person to get everything coded. If someone on this forum could help them I am sure they would take it. I couldn't imagine them saying no. Since there was no premine for this coin there isn't any big bounties. I am sure that's whats keeping other devs away currently. As a community the more we donate back to the dev the more likely their going to start offering bounties to help with development. I could also have rose colored glasses on but I will keep mining this coin till the dev stops supporting coin.

I am waiting to spend my bitcoins on helping to drive the price upward on whatever exchange Syncoin appears on first.  That will help get a more stable hashrate then a mining rig over the weekend.  The higher the opening price the more interest it will create in the coin especially if it can be maintained.   Just my thinking I have been known to be wrong once Smiley

Thanks for your reply

"One feature that seems to be catching on is the anonymous function that Tips and a few other coins are doing. It's something to look into when you had the time, or got bored."
> Is this the coin mixing I've been hearing about? It's a fairly complex system

Yes,  it's complicated, basically they guy explained it like this "There are extra coins floating around the network on the nodes, it just mixes them into a block then sends them along to the intended target" I know if you send a large amount it will send any that can't be mixed back to your wallet might get fixed as more people use it. Will find the devs post about it. Last I knew the code hasn't been released publically.

"People are more and more worried about encryption anymore, to keep it safe from hackers or manipulation. Is it possible to add google authenticator to your wallet? Instead of one option of encrypt wallet like ever other coin?"
> Wallet encryption generally suffices, as long as the password is sufficiently long. Google Authenticator could be pretty easy to add, however

As for this I look at it this way plan for the stupidest, idiot you can think of. Then build for them. The encrypt feature built into the wallet is nice and all. However if you loose it or forget it you lose all your coins in your wallet no matter what.  How many people forget there passwords everyday? I know for mainstream the average person would be pretty pissed off if they forgot their password and could never get there money from there bank account ever again. Personally I have my wallets passwords save in a text file on several flash drives and its just a huge randomly generated set of anything. If I lost them all or one got hacked I could be screwed because I use same one for every wallet. Not the smartest idea but its better then using so many passwords I forget them.   If I was to bet on it, I would say 70% of the wallets out there don't have there wallets encryption setup.  Just a guess that I pulled from my ass.

If you want to see this coin succeed it needs a lot of marketing, unique wallet features, fast confirmations times, a secure block chain without an unexpected fork, and can't be manipulated by anyone. This is my reasoning, ideas and I have no affiliations to this coin other than mining it and donating some of it back.

I really think this coin has potential, especially if Mt. Gox keeps fucking over Bitcoin. Granted he did finally resign from the board. His site magically went down because hes missing 744,408 Bitcoins. This coin has a lot of interesting features other coins do not have in regulating the supply. The auto switch to ScriptN. It has a dev who is active and has some interesting post for trolls lmao. That alone can make or break a crypto currency, for the short term

Someone earlier said you should add interest to the wallet. I personally think its a good idea if you keep it low 1-2% a year if not less. Mintcoins, 20% for the first year might come back and haunt them in the end. With the current reward highest reward block being 120, I think. There should be room in the total amount of coins, to possibly make it happen. If you wanted too. One feature that seems to be catching on is the anonymous function that Tips and a few other coins are doing. It's something to look into when you had the time, or got bored.

People are more and more worried about encryption anymore, to keep it safe from hackers or manipulation. Is it possible to add google authenticator to your wallet? Instead of one option of encrypt wallet like ever other coin? It doesn't have to be googles just any of the many authenticators out there. This feature would be a huge boost to people feeling more secure in their wallets. Just like a fast confirmation time of 10secs or less not sure what it is on syncoin with a 4 min block.
Another question is if you remember the doge fork a few weeks ago that caused their price to fall, was that bug that caused it to reject a large block in the older wallet. It was fixed in the newest wallet, so it caused a hard fork on accident. Was this problem fixed in this coin before launch? I am assuming it was don't have time to read through all the source code myself really busy with work. If it wasn't, it's better to fix that bug before it happens here and causes people to lose faith in a coin. Unexpected forks are bad for any crypto currency.

As for word of mouth, lets face it the people on these forums are the "nerds" who do this for fun, or for cash. The other type is investors who see potential in the crypto currency concept, or like the pump and dump coins for quick cash. I wouldn't call either group set really mainstream population. Most people are stupid and just follow the way Hollywood and the news go. Bitcoins became more mainstream in November when the price few up? Wasn't there national headlines in the US at least of someone accepting Bitcoins as payment for his house around that same time? Most people really do not understand much beyond one or 2 decimal places. I know there are smaller denominations for Bitcoin, but hell I barely understand their names, if you asked the average person the street what a Satoshi is they would look at you like you and say a what. If your expecting word of mouth to get this coin mainstream you have to get your head outta you ass, it wont happen. Big news articles, interesting names for the smaller demonizations. People understand Euro, Yen, Dollar, Rubbles there all simple to remember names, and most have a simple coin structure/names. When currency is traded, they have I think 3 or 4 decimals? People mostly only think of them as a 2 decimal currency. This is a sad fact, but in the US atleast if you want to get accepted and be mainstream you have to get hollywood and news on your side. Superbowl ads also does it if people find them funny, or remember them. GO DADDY case in point. Dogecoin did the fundraiser a few athletes for the Soshi games. Great simple exposures.

We might want to dream/wish that word of mouth will make this coin mainstream, but a motto I have at my own business "Wish in one hand and shit in the other and tell me which one fills up first". Wishes and dreams only can fill heads reality is you have to have a marketing campaign to drive this coin mainstream. Apps for wallets on peoples phones, secure wallets that are almost impossible to hack. Easy way to use it to pay for things, with a quick confirmation time. Make it the preferred coin to gamble with. That's what 60% of the Bitcoin market? People here shouldn't be thinking of this coin SYN/BIT it should be All coins/SYN.

To help with marketing and development of this coin have you considered creating a public wallet address where everyone can see the balance at all times? With this address programmed into every wallet as lets say community fund or coin development fund something like that, so everyone can easily donate to that address, should they so choose. Then create a foundation that controls that fund and decides how it spent and where. 9 member board so its less likely to have favoritism/corruption. 5 permanent or 4 permanent and 5 voted by the community or 4 if 5 permanent. The permanent members can be kicked off with a simple 60% vote by the other members of the board in case one goes crazy or insane. Then this group of people would be responsible for making sure this coins gets promoted/marketed. Offering rewards to help pay developments projected to help this coin grow in popularity. Plus posting all expenditures online so everyone can see what the funds were used for and when. Trust being the upmost importance.

Its been driving me nuts for years people thinking word of mouth works for crypto coins. It works for restaurants and only around where they are located. This coin is just one the first, I thought had potential after Bitcoin and litecoins. It just needs a marketing campaign behind it and more apps and development of its already unique features.

Yes, I rambled a lot, with bad grammar. You might think I am crazy (I could be) just a random person on a forum. Ignore me, all you like just thought I would bring this to peoples attention based on personal experience word of mouth only goes so far and very slowly. Great for the food industry to slow without some marketing for the crypto world.

I think it was blueangel01 post I read on another forum that said it best "4 months is 4 years in the crypto world!"

I am have issues getting my wallet to sync up.  Its stuck at about 8069 block remaining?  Any ideas on how to get it sync?  Without changing address didnt realize it hadn't sync'd and had a bunch of coins set to this address.

did you put the latest ufo.conf under the right folder (depends on the os)?

http://ufocoin.co/wallets/ufo.conf

With that it syncs right away. Just let it run for a few minutes.

yes did that the day before posting,  its in my roaming folder under UFO.  Yes its the right roaming folder because its where I setup solomining other coins in that same folder. I redownloaded the main wallet again today and unzipped it to a different file ran it and it downloaded to the same spot.  Then stoped again.  Been trying to sync for about 2hrs stuck at same block.   Any other files I should delete?, or should I just screw the coins I set to that address and move on?

I realize you have been a bit busy, fixing the mac wallet and all.  I was wondering how long you were going to keep the windows wallet password protected?  It might help at this point if you took the password away. Just a thought but thats just me

I just read through this forum. Its amazing how many idiots out there can not figure out how to tell time based on someone posting a timezone of the launch.  Decided to mine this basically because I like the idea of this coin.  Script to start, then autoswitch to script N.   Also you can tell the dev is a smartass, and there very active I like it.

Last night was bored so I mined some crapples just for something to do.  Installed there crapple client as well.  This morning woke up realized the real apple was live.  Downloaded there client and installed, and started mining.  Then when I ran the client all my crapples came over as cryptoapples.  So what are they cryptoapples or crapples?  How are you supposed to not be able to mine both or the easier one and not have it show up as real apples?  It did sync as well and It didnt loose any.
