Re: I still can't believe these scams are supported

Most of the investors we have in the crypto world are just for the profit. The majority of the investors invest  in only projects that looks to provide quick and huge profit. Many don't care about the product. That's why they're so many projects that playvto the tone of those investors.  And this isn't healthy for this upcoming market. Investors have to care,  at least,  about what a project seek to solve. And its viability.

Re: Whats your thought about New projects?

I have wondered too. Many have come in past and disappeared. But some are still quite stable. I see many influx of projects Who look like they are just coming around to get investors money. Many of them don't really have viable use cases. That been said, the market has lots of potentials to provide solutions to certain problems that traditional market has tried to solve. For now, many projects are still trying to find their standings. They are still at their infant stage. There might not be need for more altcoins for now.

Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down
by
abeecrypto
on 04/08/2020, 19:22:11 UTC
People do buy low too. The ones that buy high are mostly amateurs and newbies in the crypto market. Some experience traders also do this. Especially the ones that want to make some gains in a little while. Sometimes it backfires. It works for them sometimes though. When I was  a new to the market I jumped into the market when it was going up and I made some profit. I did it again, and lost big time. The simple strategy known by every experienced trader is to buy when it is low. It's safer that way.  But hey, what you see to be high today might be the low tommorow.

Re: Will DeFi help ethereum reach it's old 4 figure value?
by

As the current ‘bull’ run is concerned, it looks like one that can be attributed to the decentralized financing (DeFi). The price hitting four figures doesn’t have to depend on Defi. It’s all about more use - cases. If more projects with great and laudable potentials keep popping up, there will be a lot more demand for Eth. Thus. booming up of price. At this rate of DeFi, we will certainly see Etherium progressing more.

Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ?
by

No worries at all. My country hasn’t even legalized crypto. Neither have they illegalized it. But people use it and the government is aware. In my country, the government is beginning to embrace the cryptocurrency market little by little. I know it’s going to take some time but I don’t see a president making crypto illegal. What do I know!

The legality of crypto rests in our hands. We have to include the government in this crypto journey. Some fellas in my country are beginning to make that movement. I think this would go a long way to foster the progress of crypto in every country.

These coins look promising too. Ethereum remains my favorite. There are so many possibilities that can come from Ethereum. Many use cases. I will always hold Ethereum and Bitcoin. Apart from the top two coins, I do have CTSI, Litecoin, XRP, BNB, and TRON. In a funny way, I actually bought the TRON. the first time, because of the movie, Troy.

Easy there! You are getting into this space wrongly. If you are a newbie to crypto (I won’t judge you by your rank), it’s best you don’t just start believing any expert that comes your way. Yes, many people monitor the market, but that does not guarantee knowing where the market is going. Take a look at the market and tell me how right your experts are.

I have got some little jobs I am doing here and there. Day trading is also my thing now. This started recently and seems to be going well so far. Also, I also keep my eye out for good bounties. Currently engaged in one. Aside from crypto stuff, I also do part-time solar PV design.  That is pretty all in this lockdown.

Re: Economic situation declining and famous celebs not paying workers
by
abeecrypto
on 01/08/2020, 06:50:42 UTC
It isn’t easy for everybody. Especially the workers. And even celebrities. The economy is unfair to everyone, including those celebrities and companies. It’s very easy to criticize others on what they haven’t done right, especially when we have never been in their shoes. In the middle of this pandemic, I criticized some companies on why they don’t even pay their salaries or pay half salary. But when I imagined myself in their shoes, I saw another angle of things. They have been hit hard too. And yes, some companies and celebrities were out of the line.

I agree with you on people getting educated on starting their brands and acquiring skills. But it isn’t that easy. Many of those workers are in serious need of food. It’s not easy for a hungry person to start a business.

We are all hit by the pandemic. Some are just more hit than the other.

They sound like the kind of people who don’t believe much in the potentials of Bitcoin. Maybe they wanted to say 100,000 dollars. Because right now, Bitcoin is 11,000 dollars. Sold yet?

Re: Does Name really matter in crypto?
by
abeecrypto
on 28/07/2020, 21:56:10 UTC
I don’t really get your question. If you mean crypto projects, I would say name matter to a level. Well, it doesn’t matter like the potential value of the project. Investors hardly take interest in the name of the project. If the project has a good use-case and a great team, investors will go for it. Having said that, just like in non-crypto currency projects, a good project name would add some spice to the branding and perceived nature of the project.  A good project name could attract investors.

Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens?
by
abeecrypto
on 28/07/2020, 19:17:57 UTC
Well, the riskier the merrier. However, in as much as you want to take those risks, it is important that you do your research. That, sort of, filters out the less potential projects. Even at that, you can’t be too sure of how the projects will turn out. Research the project; if it is worthy, invest with what you can afford to lose. It could be very risky.

I have been awake for years. One can’t duel on unfavorable. We learn. Having said that, don’t be too taken by the market’s movements. Be careful of what you invest or invest in. As it has always being countless times, only invest what you can afford to lose. It is safer that way.

Re: So many scam giveaways is it because Bitcoin is moving up
by

That is a no brainer. As the market goes up, scammers activities go up too. The newbie mostly fall prey. I still can’t see the correlation between the recent social media hacks and the recent movement of the market. It seems pretty coincidental that after the hacks, market started going up. Probably, just a coincidence.

Re: Ethereum : Its not too late

Especially for Ethereum, It is never too late. Nobody knows where the price will zoom to. Ethereum has so much potential that even at 400 dollars, I will still buy. If you are in for the long term, it's never too late to buy Ethereum. One might think it’s is high now, but what if it gets to 600 dollars in the next months? What would one say then?

Re: What more can a project teams wish for ???
by
abeecrypto
on 26/07/2020, 22:21:40 UTC
I think that should be obvious. When a project aims for top exchanges, that is a sign that they believe in their project and are ready to have a go at the platform where potential investors would take an interest. The top exchanges are always happy to list projects with great potentials. I mean, that is more money for those exchanges if the projects bring investors.

Re: Don't get moved by fake good news

In the crypto world, one has to be careful of the source of information and its authenticity. Not just in the currency or coin trading world, but also in other activities of the world. Greed is what makes lots of people fall for those scam information. This happens more with newbies. Those spammy messages are everywhere these days. It's better those who don't know about scammy messages heed to a warning or get sucked off your hard-earned money. I almost fell for one at a point. I learned.

Re: Dev and team, show some care
by
abeecrypto
on 26/07/2020, 11:31:37 UTC
Well, not all of them. Some might have been the way you say it. But there are some pretty good project teams out there who take their hunters seriously. It is even more obvious when the bounty is being managed by a good bounty manager.

As per the project teams that take bounty hunters as trash, they hardly do well. A good project team should understand that the bounty hunters are helping promote their project. If they think it’s cheap to do and don’t acknowledge the benefits that come with it, then they have a problem with their PR.

From my observation, most of those projects that have taken their bounty hunters seriously have gone on to prosper.

Re: What brings economy of a country down.
by
abeecrypto
on 25/07/2020, 08:31:43 UTC
That's exactly how it is in my country. Depending too much on oil and now that oil price has plummeted, things ain't going too well. Diversity is the key to a more resilient and strong economy. It's like having various sources of income, so when one source isn't delivering as it should, the others can help keep you going.
