I fount out today The CC card is not 4,99 but 14,99!!!

Yes , It says on the fees page[1] that card creation costs is $/€ 4.99 (14.99 after 7 days) they probably forgot to update the website.

[1] http://advcash.com/en/solutions/card/

$5 is cheaply if you order it in the first days.

adamstgBit, I think you should create new poll and ask something like that:

Quote
Price Dec 31th 2016 will be:
 1. > 850
 2. 800
 3. 790
 4. 780
 5. 770
 6. 760
 .. ..

A lot of us believe that Adam should update the poll, but he is having issues with getting back into his account, after it was hacked (apparently) in mid September.

Edit:  Oh... now it looks like the poll has been removed, or is it just me?

Oh Sad this is a bad situation.  He can contact theymos or Cyrus and I'm sure they will give back his forum account.

I have been in contact with Adam about this situation partly because I had gone through a similar hack attack of my account at about the same time that Adam did.

You are correct that you can get your account back, as long as you are able to go through various efforts in order to prove your identity - and maybe even if you may not meet some of the account recovery requirements.   It seems that Adam had made some preliminary attempts to get his account back, but he ran across various difficulties proving his identity.  He asserts that he may be having additional difficulties because of some of the shit stirring and trolling that he had admittedly been doing - but really, I doubt that he was so obnoxious and/or repugnant that the admins would not reinstate his account.  I think that he just needs to be persistent and to go through the efforts (and hoop jumping if needed) in order to get his account reinstated (and currently (so far), he does not seem to be willing to go through such efforts).

I think it was necessary only a signed message from a old bitcoin address (that you previously posted in the forum, or sent by a PM to someone or also linked in your profile) and admin, in this case theymos, badbear or cyrus, can give you back the account.

By the way, in early November, I had another issue of losing access to my account (because stupidly I used the secret phrase feature in order to attempt to access my account when I could not remember my password).  It took nearly a month for me to regain access to my account- so I understand that sometimes it can take quite a while to get the attention of bitcointalk administrators, and only a few of them have sufficient access authority to reinstate accounts.

Maybe the admins were busy (Idk).

Someone can help?
I'm trying to vote (57k lisk) with lisk lite wallet. In the vote page I add delegates, push the vote button and that opens the send page with the list of the delegates I chosen and it mark a transaction of 1 lisk from my address to my address (?) so I push send ...and nothing appens!
Any thought?
Thanks

Are you using the official lisk node (https://login.lisk.io)?  Refresh the page and try again, maybe it was only not synced.
Thanks but I'm using the Lisk-lite-client 1.1 (I have no skills to run the "Lisk Node v0.5.1" wallet  Roll Eyes) so I suppose I have no need to sync the blockchain (but I could be wrong).

Open https://login.lisk.io and vote from there, I think it won't be a problem.  Lisk lite client is a unofficial client of fixcrypt (former developer of lisk, now running the ark project) https://github.com/fix/Lisk-Lite-Client

Hi, is there a page that explain how to vote and what the delegates offer?
Thanks

3. What are delegate votes and where can I vote for delegates?
In order to determine the delegate rank position, Lisk has a decentralized voting mechanism built directly into the client. Users can vote for any delegates registered on the network. One vote equals 0.00000001 LSK, and a user always uses his entire LSK balance for every vote. To vote the user has to pay 1 LSK as a network fee and he can vote for 33 delegates in one go. He can vote for 101 delegates in total, for this he needs to initiate 4 votings (33+33+33+2 = 101). It is not possible to vote for the same delegate twice.

The number of votes are represented as an “Approval” within the client, and is shown as a percentage. An approval of 1% equals 1% of all LSK in the network. At launch this would be 1,000,000 LSK (later more, due to inflation) or 100,000,000,000,000 votes.

From Twitter. Join us tomorrow at 6PM Berlin time for the monthly Lisk community meeting on https://lisk.chat in the general channel.

Hmmm that's boring
How could they make it any more fun?

They want hype news.

Yes they want only a pump to dump their coins quickly, lisk is a long term hodl not for a quick profit (see ethereum and its token ether).

I think that the polls are auto-removed after a certain period of time.

The poll in the link was started in 2014 and it hasn't been auto-removed. A mod must have removed this topic's poll.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=427522.0

If his account has been hacked then probably the hacker removed the poll, I don't know why.

There are some crazy theories and assumptions based on faulty or just too little information about not only ARK but the Lisk communities inner workings, so I decided to give a quick overview of how the ARK team has formed and why. I tried to make it as factual as possible, correct me if you see a factual mistake.

At the very beginning of Lisk when the ICO just begun and people   started to gather in Lisk Chat, malreynolds organized a group of people called Trusted Delegates. The TDs original goal was to find trustworthy Lisk supporters to run the Lisk delegate nodes. The initial the main effort was to exlude sockpuppets, people trying to run multiple delegates. For this reason the initial TD members were those with history on BCT and/or meaningful continuous involvement in Lisk chat. The group formed and as these things go, it got more organized, rules and guildelines were made, members supported each other, some members become inactive while others joined, a community was forged (pun intended).

And what an active community it was and still is. The private channel had many times the activity of all of the public channels combined, because it was such a good group of people that we all fealt comfortable talking in there even on subject that belonged to the public channels. Max, Oliver, Joel, isabella and fixcrypt were also in the channel for many months. They only decided to exclude themselves later on when we started concentrating on voting power because they felt -and rightly so- that discussion about our voting strategies should not include them.

This group stayed strong long after forging delays were announced throught the closing of the private channels in Lisk chat (our fault, sorry, we should have been more active in public channels), and remained very active, rebranded to GDT (Global Delegate Team).

The beginning of ARK were just some off and on brainstorming session on a remote slack channel (#sharktank, I think), that slowly grown by then (again) including fixcrypt who just parted ways from Lisk. Anyone from GDT was welcome to participate and many did. A new Slack was created with open invitations to all GDT members and those who joined now known as the ARK Crew, I think it was almost 50 members. Discussion continued and the most active from these group, those who at the time had the interest and the time to actively work on a new project became the Ark Founding Team that has 25 members.

So we didn't built such a big team from nothing, but formed from an already select and battle tested larger group. We didn't even assign former roles to each other we just contributed wherever we felt we could make the most of our abilities. We weren't all large holders who wanted to take over, or replace Lisk. We just had an idea in our daily interactions and we had the will, the time and energy to make it into a reality.

Today GDT is still by far the largest and best organized group in the Lisk community and still supports Lisk and includes most of the people who long time supporters, made tools for Lisk, run it's testnet and mainnet delegates.
ARK members are still GDT members (amongst the most active members in fact), we are just sub group with a side project. Others has other involvement outside of Lisk, ours just more noticable being a Lisk fork and because of fixcrypt as a developer.

So any claims that ARK tries to overtake, replace, etc Lisk is just silly. Harming Lisk would be harming ourselves. Of course if you ask various members the exact interpretation of this statement may vary because we have different views on Lisk after 8 months of involvement, but that's just shows that ARK as a group has no agenda for or against Lisk. Individual members...you will have to ask them personally.

Please tell me more Smiley nice story.

No a whole lot else other than Max forced us to open our private room up to the public because like Vega said, our private room in the main lisk rocket chat that had x5 to x10 times the amount of talking as the public rooms at the rocket chat.  Then one day out of the blue, we were told that we can't have any private voting alliance rooms anymore in their rocket chat.  No if ands or butts, just nilly willy opened the room to the public so we all left and created our own private slack.  Then the rocket chat died for basically months until just recently when max announced forging the DAY of the start of our TEC.

We were just early to see the delays in Lisk because basically we've heard it from them almost since day one.  You know without Fixcrypt, lisk mainnet would basically not have launched on time, and they basically kicked him from the group because of the same reason they can't find a developer right now, they don't want to pay what they need for the quality of coder they'll receive.

So max is hostile, now I can leave my 200,000 total lisk investment and wish you all the best.

There could be someone close to him of course. Or probably the other administrator in this forum. Theymos might be the president but if there is the president then there should be a vice president to full fill the duty of the president when needed. Moderators IMO remains moderators as far as the other admins concern

This is why he put a second administrator, Cyrus he is a very amazing admin and he will be 1# when theymos will leave.

Then we should elect one. Moderators are the best choice for this. They should post a thread here which has a poll which everyone can vote for the moderator to be elected as the admin of this forum. But ofcourse this time there should be a vice which can take over when somethings happen to the admin. Like the op's worrying about.
Sorry to burst you bubble but election is not the answer if any of the admins died and a replacement is needed. Just imagine how many alts are out there who will vote for someone who they think can protect their business and interest.
Simple, only the moderators aka staff members will be able to vote.

As far as I know, just like how they select a moderator, its through recommendation and members can chime in but its not a vote, they can give feedback regardless if its negative or positive, then the powers that be will select among the short listed.

Exactly, theymos doesn't like the vote.

Update on the refund option and Ark distribution

There will be a one week period after TEC is closed during which TEC participants may choose whether to receive a refund or leave the funds on deposit in the TEC to receive a distribution of Ark tokens. This period will start immediately after the modifications are made to the TEC site which will include the refund option. The refunds will be issued at the end of the refund period and the final distribution of Ark is determined with the bonuses applied, based on the minimum target of 2K BTC being met exactly. The difference between the 2K target and the actual amount raised after refunds are complete will be treated as a deposit of that amount of BTC with no bonus applied, and its resulting distribution held by Ark for future crowdfunds, development and participation in the ARK project, and possibly employee compensation at an exchange rate no lower than the highest exchange rate made by anyone during the TEC. At mainnet launch, the distribution of Ark tokens will be made as originally planned, no later than 1 February 2017. Bounties will also be distributed after mainnet launches. Further instructions and details will be posted when the TEC site is ready.

Great, I will ask the total refund of my 200,000 lsk invested.  good luck for your project.

NO, we are all different people.  I will not be held down on who I really am because some people don't like the way I conduct myself.

Society is often telling us 'be true to ourselves', 'be real', 'you are special' and of course 'don't try to please anyone but yourself'.

This of course is all hogwash.

The reason we have traditions, manners, customs, rules, government, police, and prisons is so that we don't simply go around pleasing ourselves all the time. We are to try and be better people. It is ok for eight-year-olds to be children. It is not ok for 28 year olds to act like children.

The ARK team has given you a job: public relations. Your job is not a playground for self-expression and self-fulfillment. Wouldn't you agree?

Correct:

The profession or practice of creating and maintaining goodwill of an organization's various publics (customers, employees, investors, suppliers, etc.), usually through publicity and other nonpaid forms of communication. These efforts may also include support of arts, charitable causes, education, sporting events, and other civic engagements.
