Things that attract one to invest in INDI ;

That might be true. But I do not believe Ethereum will be able to hold their gains for long. Sooner or later the price has to go down simply because that is what markets do.

Is http://www.bitcoin.com a valid implementation of the bitcoin protocol?  How are they able to use the name? Does anyone know who is behind it?

I am newbie on bitcoin, recently introduced with the community. I have seen a lot of positive feedback about bitcoin investment. I am not interested do business or trade on market. I want to used it for long term investment only. Some people suggested me anytime is good for invest on bitcoin but I want to do it wisely. If you have some idea of the market and analysis kindly do it for me.

It is no wonder that big companies have started to use Blockchain technology. And there is no doubt that implementation of this new technology can transform education system in India.

Worldwide, especially in my place, must sell it for profit rather than always keep it!
The government always forbids the use and play bitcoin so that it can not grow fully potential in my place. Surely it remains an advantage if there is a transaction rotation for bitcoin in my country to live.

It's no secret that BTC has a big problem with fees and transaction times and it's getting worse with rising valuation and number of users.  That's the first issue.  Bitcoin's closest market cap competitors don't have these issues....at least not yet.

The second issue is that other cryptos have given better returns year-on-year vs. Bitcoin...especially in the past week to a month.  During that period BTC went up 100% but some of its closest competitors in market cap have returned 200-300%....or better.

To me, this is a no-brainer.  Even some merchants and vendors have dumped Bitcoin in favor of other cryptos.  Most know of the STEAM example.

So why are so many on this forum not switching?  Most of you would be in a position to get in before the crypto ignorant (new investors) start piling in fresh cash.

I really do not understand the logic since I don't believe for a second that it is an issue of brand loyalty...especially how little it is discussed as an option.

This is anormal, all money leaving the cryptocoins?

Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.

Like what other said, it's hard to predict the bitcoins value at the end of this year. But if we are going to analyse about the bitcoins value from the past months, the demand of the bitcoin is continuously increases because many companies in different countries already accepted the bitcoins as a legitimate currency which will be used for trading and investing.

This is one of the key questions .
This is where it is important to remind that blockchain is a foundation technology much more than it is disruptive technology that will give you a quick competitive advantage

Blockchain has today great intrinsic qualities like the ability to create trust among untrusted peers and the ability to secure integrity of transactions, but it has also many limitations and barriers to cross.

Scalability issues due to the consensus algorithms being adopted, cost of transactions as the system grows, or even barriers related to organizations not used to collaborate, or legislation and regulation not being able to cope with disputes, recovering from glitches or bugs. These are all big question and this is why it will take time until blockchain becomes ubiquitous to our economy.

Over the next five years I believe we will see more fragmentation in technology and approaches. We will see quick adoption in closed eco-systems. We will see many pilots and experiments, a lot of startups failing because they not succeed in building eco-systems and a few technology players emerging as the technology matures.

There will be plenty of challenges for Blockchain like adaptability, scalability, acceptance, legislation and regulations. Moreover another technology like quantum will pose threat for its expansion.

If Bitcoin flops in the mid of five years, it'll be setback for Blockchain acceptance. Overall, it'll be experimented in the closed groups. Few collaboration opportunities will arise especially in the banking sector or logistics and transportation .

Well I think the rising of community of bitcoin has a good impact to the bitcoin itself. Of course its like also the principle of product distribution as the consumer needs gets high its price or value also gets higher. So on my own opinion a rising of bitcoin community will be good not for the bitcoin also but for the user and trader.

Now we can see a lot of business opportunities that exist around us, be it pure online business or offline business that is go online. However, the number of business opportunities does not necessarily allow us to choose and run the business we want.

There are a few things we need to consider and start preparing the business prepares capital, the second prepares the workforce, the third is the provision of raw materials as well as the techniques in running the business, marketing the business optimally, then profit a business, risk a business, concerning business competition and pay attention to the latest business management is the facility and the fringe

So It's that time of year to start making predictions for next year, so I thought I would go ahead and see what everyone else thought about predictions for the end of year price for Bitcoin or BTC. Personally, I see it at about $8,000-$8,500. I think big investors looking at Bitcoin will wait until the New Year to start buying Bitcoin in order to save cost on accounting and taxes for this quarters numbers. What does everyone else think?
