Bago lang dahil sa ang binance ang na hack, pinaka malaking exchange right now, other than that, normal nalang  Grin

There is already a thread about this here is the link .
But anyways just as I said on the other thread thanks to them no user funds are going to be affected.
But the trust of their user would surely be affected by this incident.

They ensure the funds are safe even with the hacking incident so I doubt that "Trust" is affected here. It just proves that binance is responsible enough to ensure users funds whatever incident like this could happen in the future. SAFU

Re: Why P2P Escrow Exchanges are gaining momentum - for all payment modes
by
aervin11
on 09/05/2019, 01:12:56 UTC
Cryptocurrency trades aren't safe if there is no P2P platforms. Never to use these yet (coinbazaar,LBC) so I won't recommend it's reliability and User experience but the idea to remove the control over people to trade, I think it's a good leap. Hoping to see decentralized escrow platform so we won't rely on any governing bodies in the future.

I hope that you are not losing big money in that exchange.
I think it's normal if the exchanges are asking about KYC because they are bond with the regulations and maybe that site needs you to complete the KYC.
Did you finally contact their staff to help you to solve the problem?
And if the only way for you to unlocked the account is by fills the KYC, then you need to do what they said, but that is only if you want to trade in that site.
I don’t know why many people keep complaining unnecessarily about this KYC issue, we already know that this requirement is what many of them are now imposing and you will never see a centralized exchange that would not request for one now, so instead of proving too stubborn to start having all these issue of locked account, we can just simply do the KYC or move to a decentralized exchange, after all, not many of them forced us to register with them, we are the one that willingly chose them, and the exchange he chose to use is even not a popular one for that matter, so he should deal with his challenge.

Yeah you are right, it's my fault in the first place to use the exchange. And No I did not enter other 2FA code, maybe they are trying how their new rule takes place, like beta, every company did that. As of doing KYC, they didnt even have a list of Identification that is valid per country, at once they requested me identifications like as of European countries  Grin

Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency?
by
aervin11
on 05/05/2019, 12:02:26 UTC
This works P2P because if you'd use a platform like nexo, you'd stake your tokens in exchange for any currency you want to borrow. Dunno how this works but are you allowed to borrow anywhere?

my advice is don't borrow crypto because the market has high volatility. so if you receive 1 BTC at a price of $ 5000 and then 1 month will come the price goes up to $ 10k you will experience a big loss

You must get clear on your intentions when getting a loan, most probably borrowing is best when you want to short the market and make profit out of it

Hmmm, interesting but looks like it's obvious that people during holidays will spend their time with family and friends which is they gonna do some selling of their bitcoin but I never noticed it since I just started last year in crypto, I would thank you for mentioning this I would take this in my note.

It's just a speculation. It ain't consistent. To mention, OP didn't state if it was before, during or after the holidays. Just do your TA and trade according to your plan because if you'd take this aa an advice, you'd end up broke

Re: Beware when trading @ Kryptono - Stealing your identity?
by
aervin11
on 05/05/2019, 11:27:01 UTC
OP is informative for the traders to make aware people from any exchange which has such type of issue. I think everybody should know more about the exchange before depositing any fund. Sometimes people try to deposit panic for arbitrage trading without reading more information about the exchange. Most of the exchanges are asking for KYC now so obviously, always we should mind about KYC, without aware of the term and condition of any exchange trader can lose a huge amount. Thanks

I must've read their new update. That was posted about 11 Days ago by now. What I hate is that the reason they locked my account was because of a simple error on 2FA, I mean I've got the password and all other shit.

Also I didnt lose a huge amount. Im doing KYC so I won't lose a huge amount LOL

Beware when trading @ Kryptono - Stealing your identity?
by
aervin11
on 02/05/2019, 15:03:18 UTC
The other day I deposited on Kryptono and placed a trade, everything is working fine.
Yesterday as I about to log-in, I input my 2FA (correct and updated one) but it is not working. That didn't happen before but as I progress, I happen to find out that my account is LOCKED!

Follow this link below for reference :
https://kryptono.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020056291-7-What-if-I-have-my-account-locked-due-to-trying-to-input-2FA-so-many-times-
https://kryptono.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019911172-8-How-to-unlock-my-account-

What's great about this is that the update was made only 9 days ago and maybe that happens why my 2FA aren't working, because they want me to do KYC!

To recover my account, they want my identity, address, ID card, and etc. The worst idea ever is to lock your account because you miss on putting CORRECT 2FA code.

For those who want to trade on kryptono exchange, please be aware that this might also happen on you, again, I input the correct 2FA code but yet this happen. They want to steal your identity out of useless reasons. STAY AWAY!

Privacy is real important, so as your identity, don't let it get stolen.

Re: Do not use Coinbase
by
aervin11
on 02/05/2019, 11:16:29 UTC
Do not use Coinbase! They have extremely poor service and will not support you if you ever encounter issues logging in. Instead, they will write a generic response to your ticket and immediately close it. If any major bank tried to pull this they would get buried in lawsuits.

Again, avoid this service at all costs. Forget their greedy 5% fees on deposits/withdrawals - it doesn't even matter if you can't get your BTC or USD back period. That's a 100% fee.

So you aren't be able to log-in to your account because your ticket was "immediately closed". Can you log-in now? I am aware that poor customer support is always the problem of most crypto exchanges and coinbase is not the only one. Are you able to log in now? What problem did you encounter?

Invitation without prior notice and done by bots? A BIG NO NO. To avoid those invitations to happen again, do this.

1st : Open your telegram account, go to settings
2nd : Go to Privacy and Security
3rd : Under Privacy, go to Groups then select "My Contacts" as Who can invite you to groups and channels
4th : Don't add any contacts. Just join your desired channel if you wish by getting their TG Profile link then Save.

Those invitations might be a part of bounty campaign or artificial growth of community to attract investors for selfish reasons. Leave those groups and report spam if you wish.

i have crmsn(crimsoncoin) in coinexchange, now trading has been stopped what could i do with the coins.

it will be delisted on 27/3

what could be done?

If the trading stops and your coin would be delisted, all you have to do is to withdraw it right away. It might be a shitcoin that is why it is being delisted but if it has a certain value, keep it safe and withdraw it right away.

I suggest you to try Veil-Project bounty campaign. It is a privacy coin with the technology of ZCoin and Monero, PoS/PoW consensus algorithm, and monthly reward distribution  Grin

Stakes might not cost a lot but it is a good project to join with great bounty team that is handling the project.

Re: Bitcoin fake money? Think again!
by
aervin11
on 29/04/2019, 13:54:21 UTC
Of course they would doubt. But as you explain how bitcoin works then he's happy to use it right?
People would always doubt "bitcoin" but because it isn't a scam and is serving the true meaning of a digital currency that is owned by the public, bitcoin just needs to be discovered, share it to people if you will and everything would come easy.

Make it have it's own identity as bitcoin.

Sounds better. The world will always doubt bitcoin so it's better to have it's own identity to be known. Later on, if it would be accepted by the masses, it won't be pegged to dollars or any traditional currency anymore for it's identity is it's own for it's own.
