Okay, now it looks fixed.  Earnings History is showing up right again, as is the Statistics page.  However, they haven't sent out my payment for today, which normally would have gone out about 4 hours ago.  I can live with that being late, because my balance looks right.

No, sorry, it still looks down.  I wish Bitmain would acknowledge it.

Well, I just discovered that bitcoincash-explorer.com is down.  That is where Antpool gets its Bitcoin Cash blockchain data, I believe.  Maybe this means that all will be well as soon as bitcoincash-explorer.com comes back up?

Antpool BCH Pool down?
by

If you look go to the Statistics page and change to BCH, you will see that the blocks being hit in the last 10 hours or so from when I am posting this are all blank.  Clearly blocks are hit.  Clearly they are unconfirmed.  They are not showing up on the "Earnings History" page as they should, when you are logged in.  Right now I count 13 BCH blocks hit with a total of 0 shares.

https://antpool.com/poolStats.htm

Seriously, what gives?  Why am I the only one on Earth who has noticed this so far?  Does anyone know what is going on?  I see nothing from Bitmain/Antpool on the topic.   Undecided

One more thing.  The payout from yesterday is stuck in "Paying" status.  It has been for 8 hours.

Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.

If bitcoin goes to zero, just keep me in mind, because I will give you $10 for every bitcoin you have.

Impossible to predict, this pace is insanely fast and unstable.

There doesn't seem to be anything unstable about it.  Or volatile.  Or any of the other doom and gloom words.  The price certainly fluctuates, but the trend is what matters and every issue that causes alarm gets corrected within days or even hours and the trend keeps going up.  The trend is very stable.  If the price drops to 9K again, buy like crazy.

have a Trezor/Ledger Nano S, store your coins there. If not, keep them in your Coinomi wallet if you plan to hold, or send them to an exchange if you plan to sell.

Ah! I didn't think of that.  I have a Trezor.  I haven't even looked into setting up currencies other than bitcoin in it.  Good idea.  I plan on just holding onto the BTG for a while.

That's what you should do. Create a new wallet from Coinomi (don't forget to save your seed), and them to the BTG sweep.

Thank you so much!  That worked perfectly!  I'm rich now!  Grin

Do you think it's safe to leave it in Coinomi now?  That swept it from my previous private key in Electrum to a new private key in Coinomi, if I understand it right.  Right?  So I shouldn't have to go sending it to a new address or anything, right?

Thanks!  You're awesome!

I keep seeing people say to export the private keys.  Export how?  Export to what?  Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you just have to pull up the private key, view the QR code and then scan that from Coinomi using your phone.  Nothing is exported, right?  That's more of an import?  Into Coinomi?

I haven't tried it yet, but shouldn't it be as simple as starting a new Coinomi wallet, choosing the Restore option, then snapping a pic of the QR code from your Electrum Private Key, then adding Bitcoin Gold to Coinomi?
Right click your address in the Addresses tab (if the tab isn't showing: View -> Show Addresses) and select Private Key. Enter your wallet password (if you have any) and you should see your Private Key.

If you want to export your private key to claim your BTG in Coinomi, you can:

1. Click in the little QR code in right bottom part of the Electrum Private Key dialog.
2. Go to your Bitcoin Gold wallet in Coinomi.
3. Select Sweep Wallet and make sure "Receive with" is selected to Bitcoin Gold.
4. Scan your Private Key QR code and sweep your BTG to your Coinomi wallet.

Thanks, I will give this a shot.  Just one thing.  I have Coinomi installed, but no wallet set up yet.  Clean slate, fresh install.  Rather than sweep, can I click "Restore a wallet" on the first screen that pops up, then scan the QR code, then add in a bitcoin gold wallet (by hitting the COINS button) after the BTC wallet is created with my Electrum Private Key.  If any of that makes sense.

Or, should I set up a new wallet from scratch, go into the bitcoin gold wallet and do the sweep?

Sorry if I sound somewhat newbish.  It's because I don't want to click anything in Coinomi until I know for sure the route to take, so I can't see beyond the first screen.

Before Bitcoin Gold Fork i had some 0.01 BTC in my Electrum wallet. I moved away that fund only couple of two weeks ago.

I tried everything i can to claim my BTG:
Most notably using Coinomi wallet, and using their instructions https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000016909-i-didn-t-have-btc-in-coinomi-at-the-time-of-the-snapshot-how-do-i-claim-btg-. I imported the seed of my Electrum wallet restoring it in Coinomi, after i had made it empty for obvious security reasons.
This would not have worked correctly... Electrum seeds ARE NOT BIP39 compatible, with generally means that Electrum seeds ARE NOT COMPATIBLE with any other known wallet...

Is there any way that i can claim this BTG? Cry
Yes, but it will need to be done manually... In your Electrum wallet, you need to go to your "Addresses" tab and look at ALL the addresses... receive and change... "used" and unused.

What you want to look for is all the addresses that you can find that has a non-zero "Tx" value... A non-zero "Tx" value means that the address MUST have received coins at some point:
https://i.imgur.com/259rzvA.png

Export the private key for EVERY address that has a non-zero TX value. Some of them may not have any BTG (as they might have been empty at the time of the fork), but if you export all of them, you're won't miss any coins Wink Don't forget to look through all your "change" as well as "receive" addresses... including both "used" and "unused".

Then you simply import all the private keys into the BTG wallet of your choice... and your BTG should show up Smiley

Bitcoin gold is becoming more popular in the cryptocurrency world. Most of the experts says that the bitcoin gold can surpass the value of the bitcoin.

Who are these experts? Links, please! The Bgold developers can't even keep the official website from being compromised. And they announced that hackers replaced the official wallet download file with malware. They were hosting this malware on bitcoingold.org for almost two days! They couldn't fork Electrum to give people access to their coins. The whole launch was a shitshow.

Bgold might get pumped again because most people don't know how to safely move their BTG. So supply on the order books is low --> easy to pump the price. But this coin has horrible fundamentals. It's definitely not worth holding for the long term.

Yeah, newbie is talking about experts and spreading his BTG possitive opinions all over the forum.
@cabitu why don't you use your original account to promote BTG  ... we might believe you ( but I bet you are ashamed to use it thus you made this alt ... obvious shill acount)

Fully agree with illinest
- devs published scam wallet on their official website ... BURN
- devs let hackers to compromise their own github ... BIG BURN
What comes next? I don't think it can get any worse, but you never know.

Lmfao.... what comes next? Fact is bitcoin is run by giant mining corps at the moment and forever going forward , this is about as far from how it started as possible . B CASH is pretty much the same while the heart behind bitcoin gold is much inline with the original feel . While the the largest holders of btc would never risk selling the market down in order to hopefully buy back at a lower price , the same people are the largest holders of BTG and are taking the chance IMO ... my understanding is the tru bitcoin community IE INDIVIDUALS know this as they knew BTG was coming at some point and will once again turn their GPU's on , secure the network & change the world Smiley .... we all have the funds to do so and finally the "nonsense" we have been talking about bitcoin and crypto is now being taken seriously by anyone and everyone we spat it at over the past 5-8 years , so they will join in and buy a rig shortly & mark my words it will not be a soon to be obsolete rig to mine btc or bcc or anything but BTG ....

who the frig would be on here blasting BTG & saying no no the future is all about paying for mining contracts or buying coins mined in China?? Are you kidding ? Are you crypto ? Lol come on man ........ I truly thank these company's for helping us get to just under 10k and the progress they have contributed to building hardware,  But we are going back to the ROOTS of this & BTG along with some other small cryptos are the future ...

.. really who is backing BTC rather than BTG in a argument about who should and who will dominate ? ? ?  Your dad owns a warehouse full of Asics? You like the fact you will never get a vote or ever mine a coin on your own ? Really ? That's really weird , pls respond pls

I have mined dozens of bitcoins.  Your inability to do the same might make you sad, but it doesn't prove anything but the fact that you would rather complain about what others have instead of creating your own wealth.  It's always the same with you commies, whining about big guys who have more than you.  Instead of just making something of yourself, you wallow in your blame game.  I have no remorse.  As far as I am concerned, you can bang your sippy cup whining about your poverty your whole life.  I will continue to excel.

Where can I convert Namecoin to other currencies and vice versa?  I used to do it on Shapeshift.io, but for several months it has said "Temporarily unavailable."
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/namecoin/#markets

Thanks, but I don't think that is what I am looking for.  When I said convert, I meant exchange one currency for another, not just to see the conversion of rates.  That is the site I like best for the rate charts, but I don't see a way to swap currencies there.

Don't worry about price DGB! It was a good chance to buy!
BTC goes up, total MCAP goes up (it is almost 200) , then DGB will go up too! I hope as high as in June !!!  Grin

Don't worry about being down 80%. It's all good. Being a permanently optimistic bagholder is so fun!

Just do something right to quadruple the price ffs. I need to sell this shitcoin and buy something better.

Do you know about dollar cost averaging?  Do that.  Win.

Miner Configuration Tab. "Customize the fan speed percentage."

Not on a S9.

I am looking at it on an S9.  Miner Configuration Tab, Under the General Settings sub tab, at the bottom.  It's on all of my S9's, regardless of batch & firmware version.

You must have all s9v1. There are no other tabs under gereral settings. All my firmware is of April of this year though. Let me know if it has changed in newer fw.

Ah! That could explain it.  I live by the creed, that "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."  I don't update firmware unless it fixes a problem I am having.  I've had far more disastrous results from performing upgrades of firmware, software, operating systems, etc. over time than I have had positive results if I just upgraded for the sole reason that an upgrade exists.  I find that I either lose functionality in some way or run into other problems more often than I see something "new and improved" come out of it.  So, I only upgrade if the upgrade or patch actually targets and fixes a problem I am having or is absolutely necessary for continued functionality.
