Re: is this the best time to teach about bitcoin?
by

It's always the best time to teach people about Bitcoin. But since we're now staying at home, there's more people who'll might be interested learning it. You can make them get into Bitcoin if they are really willing to. Not everyone will give efforts in learning cryptocurrency if they don't have the willingness. Now is the good time to introduce digital payments because of the virus spreading, we can each others about Bitcoin since we don't have much things to do right now.

Re: How Coronavirus affects Bitcoin and when it will end

We can't be too sure when will this pandemic end. As long as there's no cure, it will continue to spread. And this affect the price of Bitcoin probably because this virus is also affecting every economy of countries that are affected by this virus. There's already a lot of countries affected and sad to say that their cases are continuously growing and it's totally affecting every economy. And when most countries economy are affected, stock markets and even crypto market is affected. Let's hope and pray that sooner scientist can find solutions for this virus.

Re: How Bitcoin Could Be The Key To World Peace
by
airdnasxela
on 12/03/2020, 01:26:41 UTC
I don't think so. It's not actually world peace that you are saying, it's more on standing alone and not depending on the government's issued money. If you want to remove government's dominance, it will just cause a conflict between the citizen's and the government so there would be no world peace. And what's the purpose of having a government if you don't want them to rule your country?
Having decentralized currency won't lead to a peace. It isn't all about money. How about war, can Bitcoin help to stop a war?

Re: Do not blame it on Corona outbreak

COVID-19 is one of the biggest news right now in all countries (even those countries with no virus cases). Everyone is talking about this issue so you can't blame them if they think that the virus is one of the major factor that affects the price of the market. It's a world issue that everything is monitoring. It's not only the virus that causes the changes but other companies are also experiencing the decrease of the market.
For me, I do believe that Corona virus has a significant effect on the movement of the price.

Cryptocurrency and even blockchain can give a big part in globalization because through this technological advancement, it helps country to have transactions internationally. It makes it easier to transact with people in other countries. And that's what globalization is all about, connecting people across the world for stronger economy. Technology leads to greater globalization and cryptocurrency is a product of technology.

Re: Convert or HODL?

If you're also going to buy back Bitcoin after monitoring the market, you should have just hodl it. What if after you convert your Bitcoin the price suddenly increases, then you will just regret converting it. For sure most of us or everyone here would prefer to hold because we're here in crypto and it's normal for the price to change. But converting or holding it still depends on us. If you prefer it that way, you can do that.

We can start investing but why should we stop working? I'm not against investing but if you really want to earn a lot, you can still work but not to the point that you exhaust yourself from working. What I mean is that even those successful and rich people, they still work everyday even though they already invested in something. So it means, if you really want to be successful in life, you shouldn't just stop from investing. You can thrive harder.

Re: Another good news this week, Bitcoin Trading is now Legalised in South Korea.
by

on 06/03/2020, 10:38:06 UTC
That's great! Another country legalized Bitcoin and it's a developed country which can effect other countries perception towards bitcoin or cryptocurrency as well. If this legalization leads to a great result, let's expect more country will try to look at cryptocurrency. It can give an impact to bitcoin and its adoption because South Korea is one of the developed country  and it can influence other country. Now I'm hoping for more country for the next coming months, years to accept Bitcoin and crypto.

Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency.
by

It won't. We are still far from massive adoption. We are just starting. And it's not enough to replace fiat currency. And even if cryptocurrency receive mass adoption, fiat will still remain because of the government. It's what they can control so they wouldn't let fiat to ceased and be replaced by cryptocurrency. Instead of thinking that crypto will replace fiat, I'd rather go for both of them being used in the future. They can co-work together in the economy. But it's still up to the government if they will let crypto be accepted in their country.

Re: Would You Rent A Car With Bitcoin?
by

on 05/03/2020, 02:24:44 UTC
Personally no. I'm just the type of person who don't travel much and I just think that it's not the best way of payment when you're going to rent a car for travel purposes. And when you have a car or someone in your family who has a car, I don't think you would even need to rent a car in other agencies. But as for others, maybe they would. It depends on their preferences. I just haven't tried it yet so I don't know how it works but of course someone would still want to try using Bitcoin for renting a car. Maybe if they have no other choice.

That's nice! If he went to another person, he might have been scammed. Great thing that he went to you and that you tried to teach him even a small lesson and gave him some advice what to do incase someone will try to trick him.
This should how we act if there's someone who's willing to learn Bitcoin. Instead of fooling them, we should teach them the right and proper things they need to learn.

Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)?
by
airdnasxela
on 26/02/2020, 08:44:35 UTC
Betting and investing is different from each other and I never see Bitcoin as something we just bet. First of all, betting is for short term while investing is long term. They both have risk but we tend to describe it betting if we're gambling. Basically, Bitcoin isn't considered as a game we can just bet. Betting is like more on luck but investing is not. I'm betting we tend to think of a short term strategy while in investing we need long term planning.

Re: Bitcoin declined 3% as the coronavirus spread in italy
by

How could you say that this is really the reason why Bitcoin declined 3%? Yes it's possible but we cannot be so sure about that. Corona virus has been an issue here when this virus start spreading. And I still can't think of it as a major effect of Bitcoin price. It does affect the economy of a country affected but not totally Bitcoin. There's a possibility that it affects Bitcoin but not totally a major cause of Bitcoin decline. For sure there's another reason aside from Corona virus.

Re: Why not we donate some Bitcoin for corona virus?
by
airdnasxela

Others would say that they don't need donation of money because they have enough. But I would say that they still need it. For medical purposes and masks because it's been out of stocked. But aside from money, I think what they really need is man power to handle all cases. And as for using Bitcoin to donate it in China, we can do that if there's someone who'll take action with it. But I wouldn't just donate bitcoin easily because what if it's not legit. How can we give our trust easily? Unless if it's started by trusty people.

Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country
by
airdnasxela
on 19/02/2020, 00:24:39 UTC
In my country, I've heard that there's already a Bitcoin ATM however I haven't really seen one in person. When I first heard about this similar news, I got excited and happy at the same time because I can see that Bitcoin is starting to gain attention here in my country. But after some time, I don't know if the number of bitcoin ATM increases.
Overall, it's a slow step towards mass adoption. I'm just glad that cryptocurrency is slowly gaining attention here in my country and they're trying to give crypto a place here.
