The news of Peter Schiff losing his bitcoin sparked my interest again into digging how many btc's are lost forever. The only study I can find is the report by Chainanalysis where they claim that between 2.3 and 3.7 million (or 3.8 million) bitcoin are lost.
That report, however, was published last 2018. Assuming Peter's claim and the several "I lost my btc" threads here are true, what do you think is the current estimate of total lost bitcoin?
(edit: it looks like blockchain.com is fixing Peter's "lost btc" issue from their reply so forget about that in making your estimates

It is safe to say that more and more will be added to the total until the last bitcoin is mined. By the year 2140, btc's total supply in circulation could be more or less 10 million. I can't imagine the effect of that on the price.

the main assumption is that everytime he debugged his client and updated it, it created a new wallets/files and be didnt back up the previous

extranounce patern that sergio provided in 2013 shows that around 740,000 btc were mined by satoshi ,After August 2009 the pattern breaks down to some extent, there is no other evidence that show pattern still same after that
i think other coinbase unspent will remain unspent because thoses are mined by random people that never have backup of wallet and just tried satoshi client for while then deleted it because btc have no value in 2009 so its boring to keep mine for some cents
of course satoshi may keep mining it but there is no proof for that yet and we cant say satoshi own 1m btc
some people claimed that they mined a lot in 2009 but non of them signed messege as i know i only believe hal finney mined some blocks
after 2017 20k$ price every dam trader could sell 2009 mined coins to be rich as hell . so thats the case only satoshi coins remain
AFAIK, in the earlier versions, the reference client started mining using setgenerate and it would always mine to a new address. It doesn't necessary mean satoshi mined Bitcoins to different wallets but it could mean that satoshi mined Bitcoins to many addresses within the same wallet.

that sentence was explaining a lot about what will be happening with ethereum at the middle of january. The transition system of ethereum will have started ASAP and block reward will have reduced.

Yes, now we are seeing it is listed in CMC but the value of equad is very low in the market which makes us grab more coins in the market. Now they are developing the platform which the price of the coin will increase along the with the updates they do.
Everything is going well. Quadrant was listed on exchange and now we see it is listed on coinmarketcap too. Also, the reason of price fall is not related to Quadrant.
After some developments, the price will rise. Hope the condition of market becomes better and help Quadrant to rise more.

The swap service has been put on hold until we release the new wallet, which will be available very soon.
It will give everyone 1 week from the time of release to complete any remaining swaps.
Any swaps that occurred after the rollback, at blockheight 89969 will be sent manually by the provider
of the swap service. From what I see in the block explorer that was 1 of around 30k.
