so the coins you add are the ones that you heavily mined, so you always have a market to dump on people.

The spreadsheet website was updated sometime in the last week or so since Nik went from doing well to getting destroyed, and I think there were only 25 traders when I looked. Today i see 26 now.  Twitter hasn't posted anything on it yet though.  Forex market fucking over the traders probably as the other guy said.

Re: 1BROKER: Forex Broker in BITCON open to trade BTC\USD too

Dear Friends,

Simple and 1broker are the big ones if you want to remain anonymous.  Otherwise google "bitcoin cfd"

A good news for all people who love forex and BITCOIN. 1BROKER, after expanding his range of product (indices, shares, commodities and Forex) whit leverage till 200x, now offer criptocurrency trade on BTC\USD whit leverage 5x and spread 0.5.  The advantage of this broker is that the account is in BTC!  Deposit and Whitdrawal are always reliable, and send o receive BTC istantly. I trade on this Broker from 4 mounth and they seem a good company.  Cool

They have an own platform and it could be a good think, for all people that use mobile phone windows based (in wich metatrader wasn't available!).

About 1 mouth ago ther was a problem on their server , that freeze all for about 3 hours, and ther refund all losses  to their customer. I could confirm this because they refund mee to.

If someone have other info about them, please share this here  Smiley

BTC Trading sucks there, they run out of BTC once per day.

https://1broker.com/m/r.php?i=8768https://www.bitfinex.com/?refcode=JuvbcI1CzIhttps://www.bitmex.com/register/f1qY9qhttps://www.okcoin.com/?invid=2076079https://simplefx.com/?sfx-r=fb817c64-a4af-4d28-9d5e-8eb918121483https://bit4x.com/invite/2c724af5https://localbitcoins.com/?ch=4vi3https://www.quadrigacx.com/?ref=jsmu1vwd8mir1a35fa67ogwbhttps://primedice.com/?ref=CarlJeffhttps://purse.io/?_r=B2Z_KK
It's kind of strange more than anything else. Almost like a trophy for someone. I don't think it's really dangerous, per se, but I think it is kind of off-putting to people considering buying/mining/using Vertcoin - why would you want to use a "currency" when one single address holds 25% of all that exist. It's possible it is an exchange's cold wallet address, but I've had people tell me that's not the case. It would be trivial for the owner to split the massive sum into many smaller addresses, giving the illusion of a broader distribution of the coin, but they choose not to do that, which is why I said maybe it is like a trophy for someone.
Someone is being honest about what they are doing. It's a strange concept in the money markets, isn't it?

It looks like the tides are finally turning for PPC
- Development speed increasing
- Google trend metrics starting to go up - https://www.google.com/trends/explore#q=peercoin
- Price is holding steady around $0.4, almost twice Peercoin's low in the long bear market
- B&C decentralised exchange, which is nearly ready, will expose many new people the the Peercoin ecosystem

This is all great news. There's also been a pretty steady raise of difficulty in the past few weeks, though this may partially be from the simple fact that Bitcoin difficulty is continuing to soar making miners seek an alternative.

Agreed. The coin might see some large volatility depending on if bitcoin tanks in price from here.

Given the poll results so far, does anyone agree that more time should be spent on finding the best name?

Maybe those interested could submit 3 ideas each by a particular date, or something like this. Even then, the final name wouldn't need to be one of those, but it could help trigger more ideas from people. It just seems a bit rushed to me, and re-branding is not something that should be done on a whim.

I most certainly agree with you.

It's impossible for everyone to agree on one thing, but I do honestly believe that if someone comes up with a name that truly "pops", then 2/3 of the people will be down with it. How do you feel about a 2/3 majority on any changes DEV?

yeah, i think everyone, or a majority, will all side with a name at some point, and ill keep my eye on it..

I'm at CES right now and i prefaced and explained the situation we have here with the rebranding to a couple friends at CES, and from their outsider view they thought COGS was a great name.

It represents us as a COG in the fabric of our society (eventually when people are using COGS like dollars).

And i think we should have a policy that there is no one acronym associated with COGS. Just like the coin itself, COGS has it's own meaning for everyone.

My tech friends also agreed that there should be no mention of it's darkness in the name as that immediately creates shade.

What's up DOGEDDEV?? Hope all is well brother.

https://1broker.com/m/r.php?i=8768https://www.bitfinex.com/?refcode=JuvbcI1CzIhttps://www.bitmex.com/register/f1qY9qhttps://www.okcoin.com/?invid=2076079https://simplefx.com/?sfx-r=fb817c64-a4af-4d28-9d5e-8eb918121483https://bit4x.com/invite/2c724af5https://localbitcoins.com/?ch=4vi3https://www.quadrigacx.com/?ref=jsmu1vwd8mir1a35fa67ogwbhttps://primedice.com/?ref=CarlJeffhttps://purse.io/?_r=B2Z_KK

That is exactly the way i feel A_McGriff

COGS are a critical part of everything in life. it also rolls off the tongue. people get an instant mental image when they hear the word COGS.

It is simple yet says a lot. people associate the word COGS with precision, and machinery running well etc. nobody thinks of anything bad when they hear COGS.

Opertum, MEANS veiled in Latin? Huh

Nubibus MEANS shrouded. Huh

Nummi in Latin which MEANS just coin or cash but was also the name of the money in circulation and was used by the Roman and Byzantine empires. Huh

shinobi MEANS "to steal away; to hide". in Japanese Huh

why is it so important to come up with a name for a coin that means something else, especially shinobi it means to "steal away or hide" WHAT Huh

something to do with steal away or hide is as shady as it gets IMHO. i would never look at a coin that means steal away or hide. just sounds suspicious

COGS needs no explanation to any person in any language what so ever. COGS are a universal word. (it is so simple that it is almost brilliant)

Why does the word BITCOIN sound so good to so many people HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??

BECAUSE IT IS ORIGINAL. AND IT DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING ELSE. a bitcoin only means a bitcoin, so people can then interpret that in their own way.

there i had my little hissyfit   Cheesy

Your the best DOGEDARKDEV. loving all of your work. i really do believe that if COGS is not right name. then leave it as Dogecoindark. people are looking Now.

I don't own any, but I would vote for the name COGS

About my request for 1 Eth, I don't have any crypto at the moment but I would like to invest some in the near future when I will be more financialy solvent. Until then, I am downloading and testing different platforms. For the most of the coins out there, there is a faucet except for Ethereum. For the ones that there are no faucets, asking community for a dollar worth of their coins was never a problem. I got sent NXT by their community and BTS, etc.. Now I thought that there will be the same thing with Ethereum community.
I hope I was not wrong. So would someone be kind enough to send me that one Eth, since I can't even register an account in Mist without having no coins.
Thanks everyone!

by
altcointrader25

Remember this.  Grin

Many of us will be stuffing ourselves over the holidays, so I thought I’d offer some food for thought for consumption by the general DigiByte community and I came up with pie! The DigiByte pie in the sky club to be precise!
http://i.imgur.com/M26RKAG.png
We are approaching the New Year and DigiByte’s second birthday. There are over 5.5 billion Digibyte in circulation already and another 19 years of coin production to go before all 21 billion coins will have been minted.
Price or low price is often in discussion in this forum and as much as many of us believe it is not the most important aspect of DigiByte right now, it would be dishonest to say it is not of concern at all.  So as a community what could we do to increase it?
Could we target price at one dollar per Digibyte and actively do something about achieving that?
I think this is possible, if we worked as a community, and this is my idea of how we might go about doing just that! A community acts together but it is extremely difficult to ensure that we do act together and not as individuals, people will always be tempted to move first because they know others will if they don’t.
Imagine we set up a club (the pie in the sky club) and we limited it to 1 million shares or members of this club. If we set the share value to 10,000 DGB, the total fund would have a potential target value of 10 billion DGB, nearly half of all the DigiByte that will ever be produced.
These funds would then be controlled by the trusted club trustees, contractually and legally bound to carry out their activities in accordance within the predetermined rules set out by the community members in a transparent manner so that everyone could see them and be reassured that this DigiByte at least, was off the market and was unable to be dumped onto it.
 https://1broker.com/m/r.php?i=8768https://www.bitfinex.com/?refcode=JuvbcI1CzIhttps://www.bitmex.com/register/f1qY9qhttps://www.okcoin.com/?invid=2076079https://simplefx.com/?sfx-r=fb817c64-a4af-4d28-9d5e-8eb918121483https://bit4x.com/invite/2c724af5https://localbitcoins.com/?ch=4vi3https://www.quadrigacx.com/?ref=jsmu1vwd8mir1a35fa67ogwbhttps://primedice.com/?ref=CarlJeffhttps://purse.io/?_r=B2Z_KK
The mandate of the club could be as simple as this. All shares would be paid back to their respective owner, when DigiByte reached a fiat US dollar value of one dollar and remained above that value for 30 consecutive days or 30 days after all 1 million shares were allocated and total fund value was achieved, whichever came first! A $1 share at today’s prices could be worth $10,000 possibly when redeemed, hence ‘pie in the sky’ and if that wasn’t quite achieved, the club would have gone a long way to improving the value of DigiByte anyway.
Of course it would take time and cost money to set up a trust like this, so maybe the first hurdle would be to cost and fund that itself but this is the sort of thing that DigiByte Group was set up for, so that the community can do things like this. Maybe each share would come with a management fee, I don’t know because I have not taken this idea any further than it is presented here in front of you the DigiByte community for your consideration.
I’m not going to do anything more about it unless the support for it is overwhelming, so tell me what you think!

Please discuss and happy holidays everyone!

 Wink

Sounds like a good idea! I am in!  Cheesy

Haha nice.  After the small pump 30 to 45, i'm probably going to buy a bit here near 30 again.  I'm not in a hurry to flip for profit.

During the Developer's AMA, the Core developers announced this years roadmap.
They announced that we will definitely be getting these:
  • SegWit
  • CoinJoin-like features
  • Sidechains to test block scaling BIPs (101)
  • No RBF
Whilst no block scaling method has been announced publically, I am certain there will be an announcement very soon.

You can find the AMA here: https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/3z2ta1/ama_official_litecoin_developers_and_litecoin/

There are also developer effects being taken by also the Litecoin Association. This includes a new website (with crowdfunding, dev help, project management...), videos on the Litecoin Association channel (available here: youtube.com/user/LitecoinAssociation, iOS wallet, fixes to LitecoinJ and the Android wallet. There are also some others I haven't announced, only because I'm currently taking them as a personal project, but if and when those are at a good enough state, the LA will announce those.

Very cool, thanks for the update.  Looking forward to seeing how the block scaling tests turn out.
