BITCONNECT!!!!!!!!!

Scam or no scam, I've received a lot more in payouts than I invested so I don't care if it goes belly up at this stage......I initially thought it was a scam but after I got my first payout I made a small deposit......after that I deposited a larger sum. That was months ago. I refuse to put anything else in until I'm in profit. I'm well in profit now so I'm just going to sit back and see what happens.......

Personally I'd love to see 80% or more of the altcoins out there completely wiped out. The majority of alts are complete garbage with no working product or utility. 100's of millions is spread over all these alts and they need to be washed out so that money can go back into Bitcoin.

I agree that the Bitcoin dominance is a very positive sign but I feel it's going to be a quite a while yet before another bull market returns. Time will tell I guess! No one knows whats going to happen next in this crazy market!

Hmmm I'm still concerned by the transaction fees.....opening and closing a Lightning Network channel is going to be a lot more expensive than a VISA or PayPal transaction. It will however have the advantage of being a lot quicker than these......however, most people don't care about the speed if they're just making a purchase in a shop or something

Online fraud is getting worse and worse and worse over the years!! Crypto Police is trying to battle that and is badly needed! Really look forward to seeing this project do well

Interesting read and looks like a great project. My one query is in regards to your mention of green electricity for mining. How exactly would this work? What form of renewable energy are you referring to? Would these sites power off hydro energy or possibly wind energy?

Even with the Binance news today there's been bullish momentum.......very impressive. Can only pray that is the beginnings of a new bull market...........seems like this bear market has gone on a century at this stage!!

Yes. I'm definitely bullish long term. I'd love to say Bitcoin will break ATH's this year but we'll just have to see.

There's been some great news over the last week and Bitcoin is looking strong..........who knows.....maybe this is the start....

Obviously no one should give you financial advice. However, I'll tell you what I would do.

I strongly believe in blockchain technology and the whole market in the long term. I strongly believe Bitcoin will eventually bounce and reach newer highs (when this will be, God knows). I'm however happy to wait long term if needs be as I'm confident in the technology. In your position I would be holding out until 1 million. I would likely take out 100K and keep the other 500K there until it reached 1million.

The question is how confident you are in the market and whether you believe in it long term. If you're unsure I'd take out half and if you're leaning more towards extremely doubtful I'd take out the full lot (or like 500-550K and leave the rest to see what happens).

Wish I was in a position to have to make a similar decision!!!! One day hopefully. Congrats on your success

Hi everyone!

Just wondering what everyone's opinions are on what's needed for Bitcoin to recover and another bull run to occur? I'm very bullish in the long term but I personally don't see a recovery happening in the near future (although I might be wrong!).

There's so many ICO's and random crap projects popping up left right and centre. I really think this is sapping money from the market - money that could be going into large cap coins such as Bitcoin to drive the market forward.

Will institutional money come in? It's something I've seen thrown around but I feel most people don't even know what that means.

I think we're going to have to go to the depths of hell in order to get a super strong bounce to move forward ($5K mark........maybe $4K mark).

The price of electricity is a huge factor. Bitcoin is hovering around the average price it takes to make a Bitcoin right now. Generally speaking, when something hits its manufacturing cost it bounces........here's hoping. Gold is a prime example - when the price of Gold dropped massively years ago it was seen to rebound at approximately the cost it takes to mine it (per ounce). Bitcoin shouldn't be any different
