Re: If Whale hoards bitcoin, will the market run out of BTC to buy?
by

on 11/09/2021, 10:53:09 UTC
Don't worry too much. Miners generate one Bitcoin every 10 minutes on average every day. Miners will sell some or all of their Bitcoins to pay the fees for their Bitcoin mining.
Addresses in the past that have stored Bitcoins will sell for a profit. People who need money will sell their Bitcoins for FIAT.
Some traders will sell their Bitcoins.
So there's no way sharks take all the market's Bitcoins.

It's true, it's also how we use Bitcoin in the past. Pay with Bitcoin in places that accept Bitcoin or hoard it as an investment.
The truth is that many people have gotten rich by hoarding Bitcoins in the past.

Re: Two basic things that can give you an advantage
by

on 11/09/2021, 10:43:12 UTC
There are two basic things that need to be implemented when the market suddenly falls like yesterday to make a profit. First, the attitude must remain calm by thinking that it will recover. Second, take the opportunity to buy as many coins as possible, such as top 10 coins.

Small price drops will not affect the trend, but there will be deep declines, breaking the trend. The best way is to trade according to the technical analysis you have determined, set a stop loss to protect your account.
We can buy during the dips, as you said, and quickly get out for short-term profit. Holding an order for a long time can be risky because the market is unpredictable and may fall deeper than we think.

Don't get too FOMO, there are thousands of DAPPs out there in cross-chain activity. Not all new projects promise success. I remember Ethereum also has thousands of tokens and most of them are junk.
Every project takes time to mature. Currently, I only see Solana as the most sought-after Blockchain by the community. SAM has up to $900 million raised to grow Solana ecosystem. So prioritize the present.
Cardano is making lingo, I'll wait and see how fast developers will develop compared to other blockchains with their lingo.

Re: Why do you want NON KYC coin
by

on 09/09/2021, 06:32:30 UTC
Just interested to hear people's reasoning for wanting NON-KYC bitcoin.  Im guessing its so that one can deny ownership from "the man"

Probably so they don’t have to pay taxes on profits. I know that I would love to avoid paying tax on bitcoin when I sell. I’ve been HODLING many coins for over 7 years, it doesn’t feel fair that I should have to pay 20% tax on profits.

Let's create a transnational network. Find allies in other countries and you won't be subject to another personal income tax. I know some international students who are still trading cryptocurrencies in the US and they have been looking for ways to not be taxed. They withdraw money in the country where they were born.

Re: Will "De-Fi" beat Banks sometime in the future?
by
ampu
on 09/09/2021, 06:27:24 UTC
DEFI is just a financial solution and it will not be able to replace the banking system the way people expect Bitcoin.
People will need safety, security, and certainty about their money. If DEFI projects really meet the needs of the people, it will certainly be the choice of everyone in the future. It's too early to conclude anything.

Exactly. "De-Fi" is still far from replacing banks anytime soon. Its biggest downsides are hacks, theft, and price volatility. People want stability, safety, and reliability, so most of them resort to banks to help secure their financial future. We should give the "De-Fi" industry more time to mature as it's just starting to blossom. Even so, it's unlikely banks will disappear since they control the world's economy. As long as Fiat exists, banks won't be going anywhere. One would expect "De-Fi" and "Ce-Fi" (banks) to co-exist for many generations.

What matters is decentralization and censorship-resistance in order to fulfill crypto's vision of "banking for the unbanked". As long as "De-Fi" stays true to its roots, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin

Sure, as long as the FIAT survives, the banks aren't going anywhere. We need political, economic and social stability. We believe in government but are not sure about FIAT.
The idea of a financial system that combines CEFI and DEFI looks good, but how can it be done? This must depend on El Salvador, they are accepting Bitcoin as a legal means of payment. Maybe they will combine DEFI and CEFI in their financial system.

Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin

I don't expect much, as long as they don't ban their people from trading, mining and hoarding Bitcoin. I remember how China suppressed Bitcoin. It leaves bad short-term consequences for the market. If countries have a loosening policy with cryptocurrencies, this is certainly an opportunity for the cryptocurrency market to expand and expand its capitalization to compete with financial markets such as stocks and commodities.

Re: Nexus [NXS] - The TAO Framework Tritium, Amine, and Obsidian
by

Very happy because patience to hold makes me profit, bought in december for $ 0.21 and now the price is around $ 0.46, hopefully there will be a big surprise from the team so that Nexus will soon enter the top 100 coinmarketcap.

TOP 100 is unthinkable. The NEXUS team is working at a slow pace, they need more funding to develop their product. However, I still see the positive from this blockchain that the source code is still updated continuously and there are a few DAPPs running on NEXUS. In the future, if this project is completed, maybe they will have many useful uses in practical applications with their three-dimensional chains.

- Agreed, Defi is just another name for crypto generations and as comparison sessions between crypto and banks, very few people can believe that Defi and crypto can beat the tradition that comes from the government because the needs of the future bank are still more adaptive as their staff and services will be at the center to answer most of the failed transactions while Defi or crypto only have one-way interaction, sometimes asking and not answering. The supremacy of a generation of bankers fully authorized and guaranteed by the government, Defi in the end is just a roadside stone and doesn't have much future meaning

I think DEFI is still a mystery and the developers will help us see a lot of things with their improvements. DEFI has only been around for about two years and has already gained massive amounts of money locked into the protocol. We still have a lot of time to expect improvements from new generations of cryptocurrencies.

A country that accepts and buys Bitcoin also means that in the future there may be more countries that will do the same. El Salvador is a small country, they don't have enough influence like the US or China over Bitcoin. Bitcoin's price drop today is the worst but that's okay, it will continue to move up in the following months.

Re: the best NFT project to invest in the latter half of 2021?
by

The project that is kinda in that area and pretty new to all of this is PYR. I think they have bigger development then other projects in that area and a lot of room still to grow.

PYR looks so bright, many things are being built by Vulcan Forged. There are many things around that need PYR, of course, PYR will be used more and that is the driving force to increase the value of this token.
Vulcan DEX and subsequent monetization features are open to landless people.

Re: Do we see 5k Eth price by end of the month
by

on 04/09/2021, 04:01:01 UTC
A rally to $5k is possible for Ethereum, but to be certain we need Bitcoin to get closer to the $64k ATH it established in May.
September is usually a bearish month for Bitcoin, so I don't expect Ethereum to have a breakout in value, even though ETH is burned every day.
The current high transaction fees in Ethereum are due to the high level of NFT transactions. It's like the DEFI wave in previous months.

So could it be this September is a Good year considering how you said that is not a favorable month for BTC, looking closely this month will happen to be one of the best month so far time like this the market always turn bearish.

What do you mean? Good to buy, right?
I will choose to buy because I know the next months Bitcoin and altcoins will increase in price. Usually the market will be active in the winter and gradually decrease in the summer. I am expecting a strong price increase, so I can take some profits to enjoy Christmas with my family. Just close your eyes and think, how sweet Smiley

The plus point of this project is EVM compatibility with other blockchains. This allows programmers to freely program without major obstacles.
The project is quietly developing with few people observing. The $100 million capitalization are relatively stable and potential while the project's ecosystem is expanding over time. I plan to invest in this project for the long term.

I was wondering what would be the next catalyst for ETH to reach $5K this month. It looks like the burning as a result of the implementation of EIP-1559 is enough but I still don't see why people are too optimistic about it.

Check out https://ethburned.info/ if you want to monitor.

I understand that ETH is on a different trajectory since the activation of the transaction fee mechanism. But it is Bitcoin and the domain BTC.D that determines the market. Currently, Domain BTC. D is falling deeply, so it will probably bounce back with Bitcoin's rise.
Ethereum will definitely increase in price and be more stable, which will probably take a long time. Currently, ETH is at $3900 and could go further but not as fast as we thought. An organic growth process and no longer shock as before.

I think capital can be accumulated or borrowed, but knowledge must be deep enough to start a business.
I have seen many people get rich from nothing, so don't think much about capital. Try to start little by little, time will help you become stronger.

Can you cite a few more links to clarify the issue? I just know now DEFI projects are doing a great job of wrapping Bitcoins and transacting on different chains. There is also the RSK Bitcoin network whose SOVRYN project is bringing DEFI on Bitcoin in an interesting way at extremely low cost, high speed.

Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge

Freedom is the inner growth of your brain. To be free in this world, you need enough sanity as well as money to control what you want. Many people cannot create material things and are not independent of their thoughts, so they are easily drawn into useless things, being taken advantage of.
I appreciate developing my brain to become freer. Investing in your brain, your skills will make your life more vibrant, independent and truly free.
