0.076BTC using escrow. Private auction my behind. Ask a price or go pound sand.

Also, I would not want any crappy bitmain coupons, that they sent out in thousands to everyone.  Cheesy

One could imagine that, because some miners will stop mining, the market will get flooded with BTC less quickly.

Not true. The same amount of bitcoin will be generated every 10 minutes (on average). If there are fewer miners, it just means that reward is spread between less miners.

Let's help the new buyers choosing in what to buy. Here're mine two which are down like 90% in ROI:

1. ITC: $9.15 ATH in January and currently $0.92.

2. SelfKey: $0.08 ATH in January and currently $0.01.

Ouch!

Suffering as well, i think around 20% all in all. But this is in bitcoin value. Of course when bitcoin goes up, my losses will not be so much.

I bought XRP at its hightest peak of $3.20 ish, and now hovering just above $1. That one hurts!

My plan is to sell near the end of this year, so i don't mind too much that it is currently low.

[WTS] Futurebit Moonlander 2 - Brand New - £90

Hi

I bought this new and received a week or so back, but quite honestly - it is technically beyond me to make it work alongside my current set up!

I'm not looking to make any money on this as i don't believe that is what the good project that jfestanop and the rest of the team intended, so i would just like to make my money back.

Price of £90 includes delivery to the UK and EU. For a little bit more i can post worldwide if you want to pay extra.

Will accept payment in crypto and would prefer payment in LTC, but will also accept ETH and BTC. I would insist on you sending payment first, but i will happily send you a picture of my passport for security sake.

If you really insist on using escrow, then happy to use any of the forum members as long as you pay their escrow fee.

No offers, please respect the £90 price (which includes delivery).

Smooth website.

I would ask though "what makes this different to other websites".

One functionality i would like to see would be to add my portfolio, at what prices i bought at, and the current price/profit/% change currently.

So you means it's over for investors ? This ICO is dead and nothing can be done to get back the funds ?

I can share the mail here if you want but I was not sure I had the right to post something that might be a scam and with potential fake links...

You are the one best placed to answer that my friend. You are an investor - do you feel it is over? Have you heard anything from them in the last month? What proof do they have that something is happening with the money you sent them?

I’m in it for the long term, so I didn’t cash out when it was high.

I don’t have the time to do short term trading, but I do wish I would have sold at $19k and then rebought at $11/12/13k. A lot of good profits for some people!

I just want to see what happens in 2018!!! I predict it is going to be a crazy year, and actually make or break for bitcoin. It will be a huge success, or people will start to move away from it

Hello,

Is it a scam for sure ?

One month ago I got a mail from startmining (Andrey) which told me how to get a refund. In the mail there is few steps, some things to do on MyEtherWallet to get the refund but I don't see the team talking about it here so I didn't take it serious. Did someone else got this mail ? Is it a good idea to follow those steps and try to get refund ?

Well, here you answer your own question:

One month ago you were promised a refund - have you got it yet? It does not take that long to process refund.

If not = scam!

Same here - ordered from bitshopper.de

i'm glad their aren't a lot of people trying to buy these in bulk and resell them for a profit - i think the guys have put in a tremendous amount of work to get this launched and open up mining, for a low price, to the masses.

I want to keep hold for the long term, so i'm not too interested in short term gains.

Can you believe i thought i was too late getting into Bitcoin earlier this year in the summer, when price was $4,000 per coin? If only i had bought more back then!

But now that it has shot up to nearly $17,000 in just a few hours, it doesn't seem like too bad an investment!

Its crazy thinking that just last week i didn't want to buy at $10, or even $11k!

My only fear is that the bubble will pop with it increasing so quickly

Re: $1,500 to spend - buy btc, or buy another miner?
by

Thanks guys

I think i will invest in buying BTC right now, and then when new mining equipment comes out early next year, hopefully i will have made a little profit on my btc investment so i can use that to buy another miner!

Although i now think i have missed my chance to buy in a dip - the lowest i saw on coinbase was $9,500, but with it now being over $11,500, i dont think it will drop that low again!

maybe i just have to bite the bullet and buy at $11,500?

If you are interested in arithmetic it is more profitable to buy bitcoin. But there is a significant problem. You for life, you must have the Fiat. You will have to sell some coins to provide for their needs. In this case, the number of your bitcoins will be permanently reduced. Coin mining will always be profitable.

I have this in excess of what i need. Therefore the $1500 is here, and ready, to invest.

My question which investment is better?

$1,500 to spend - buy btc, or buy another miner?
by
andytranter

So after being paid a little bonus, i'm wondering what is best to do....

I'm not sure how low BTC will come down to after this monsterous surge, so i figure i have 2 options:

1 - Buy BTC when i figure is the best time. But when is that time?!?! Is it when it reaches $9,000? $8,000? Is it even likely to go that low again?

2 - Buy another miner and have it hosted somewhere. I already have a home miner so i'd like somewhere cheaper to run another one (expensive and inconvenient in the UK), and i'd like to skip the $200/250 import VAT duty. But then i have to wait 2 months or so for an S9. Or maybe worth waiting until the new Avalon 8 series comes out early next year?

With this amazing surge in price, i'm tempted to just buy more BTC, but then i am concerned the price might correct itself and lose out.

Thoughts everyone? What would you do with $1500?  Huh
