if i remember correctly the etherscanbot also has this low gas notification feature. it's free but sometimes slow due to a large number of userbase with limited servers.

why are you trying to use them in the first place? hitbtc is shady as hell and the cs is non-existent in most cases. unless you're trading some shady shitcoins that are not listed except on hitbtc i see no reason to do that. if i were you, i might as well use p2p and pay $100 for a single trade instead of using them.

to be fair, it is quite easy to impersonate someone on discord (just like on telegram). but that doesn't mean anyone should just forget about it. it should be common sense by now that sending seed pkey etc to others is something you should never do. even if the user is legit, they won't ask you about something like that. all in all, we should all learn from this.

Re: Alternative ways to make money without trading cryptocurrency
by
anu1908
on 01/09/2021, 17:40:02 UTC
I think trading is easier than that 5 ways to make money from cryptocurrency.
how come? with yield farming you just have to sign one or two tx and then just let your farm grows, while you need to do analysis on chart etc while trading. how is it easier?

that being said, the profit is definitely on a different scale.

you're surprisingly optimistic. have you ever heard of the 4 year cycle? according to what many people believes, 2022 is not gong to be a nice year for crypto since bear will take control and start the bear market.

II. Or simply because the network is not yet fully decentralized.
if the network is fully decentralized, then case like this might increase instead. as mentioned above, scams are your 'friend' regardless of which chain you use. just deal with it, it's not like those airdropped tokens will magically make your balance disappear. just ignore them.

Re: list of bounties good quality (new update 17_07_2021)
by

anyway update this thread or not, i don't think that there are still many people following this as there are no constant update of good outcome bounties.

and also i have not seen any vouch about the payments got by bounty hunters from the sahred projects .
if you already check the channel then you can see that lvsca shared some payment results. and it's quite easy to verify if you just click and follow the thread of each bounty shared by him. after all most of the bounties being shared are managed by reputable managers such as hhampuz, royse, yahoo, etc.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I know that I have to wait Poloniex support but 190 days is very long for me.. This recover process can takes 190 days ?
even if it's too long for you, you don't have any other choice. they own the keys for the address, you can't really force them to return it quickly or something like that since you made a mistake in the first place too (i'm pretty sure they have a clause about this on their tos). so just be patient and follow the advice mentioned above.

Many people don't use RSK Bitcoin so if FISH doesn't list on larger exchanges and has strong promotions, it will be difficult to have a breakthrough in value for this project.
i'm pretty sure listing on new exchanges is already planned. it's still early, the project was launched just a few days ago, so it's not surprising if they focus more on delivering their product instead of exchange. pretty sure the hype will come for rsk project, just like how solana, harmony etc got their own pump too.

taking 20% of their earning is quite aggressive, i don't think anyone would accept that and run their own mining rig instead. afterall they can just buy a bunch of cpus on their own instead of using your website. and what do you mine it won't mine on cpu power alone? obviously if you use a single cpu it won't give you decent profit. just like using a single gpu to mine eth is like burning your own money.

i wonder who on earth make transactions on eth this time. other than hedge fund and big players i guess no one else would love to pay $40 for a single tx. hopefully they move to l2 sooner than later so there's no need to pay a lot of money just to make an approval.

i think the hype that it was one of the earliest project that launch on sovryn launchpad contribute a lot on their price. considering the number of tokens i won't be surprised if it can get in the top 100 or top 200 mc. glad to say i participated in their bounties, albeit distribution is still not clear.

if you don't have that much money to mine, why don't you try staking instead? you can try with something as low as $100. sure, the reward is probably not much but it's safer compared to your browser mining activity.

a report already comes out saying that the price of gpu is increasing again. i think sooner or later it will reach an equilibrium, and then increase again when next gen graphic cards is launched. not really a good thing for buyers but that's how the market works i guess.

Re: Can anyone tell me the true value of NFT?
by
anu1908
on 29/08/2021, 16:15:51 UTC
rarity and uniqueness is probably the answer. just like collectibles or cards. why people spend $100k to buy a bunch of cards? do they contain mytical power or something? the answer is probably no. it is valuable because there is only 10 of them in the world. eg; yugioh, pokemon, etc.

Re: What really makes a NFT project successful?
by
anu1908
on 29/08/2021, 16:08:42 UTC
marketing is really powerful, but at the same time wasteful for low cap projects. mouth to mouth marketing is probably the only effective one. just like how bitcoin gradually become known outside the cyberpunk guys. but to do that you need to have a good product, or else you'll just burn your money. being the first and survive the test of time is also a great deal. if you can survive after there's a lot of copycat, then you're quite successful. i think nft success is more or less the same.

Re: Best way to convert Bitcoin to DAI and safe storing?
by
anu1908
on 29/08/2021, 15:56:56 UTC
btw is there a reason why you need to change it to stable coin, if you're storing it for at least a year? why not keep it as btc? i also agree that hardware wallet is one of the best choice to keep your money. it's quite cheap for someone who has 3 bitcoin or more.

btw, as an alternative you can use rsk. first you need to convert your btc to rbtc, and then sell your rbtc to rdai, and then convert your rdai to dai with the token bridge. make sure you read about it first and test it with a small amount first, better be safe than sorry.

Re: How to measure blockchain decentralization?
by
anu1908
on 29/08/2021, 15:43:55 UTC
tytanowy explanation is the closest to what i believe count as decentralization. however, some people decide to separate voting power/decision making and network, which sometimes result in a blurry debate. it is apparent when people talk about how bitcoin is centralized because most miners are running their rig in china, and so on. imo mining location is not the core of the decentralization, since you can easily remove one location but the network is still going to survive albeit the scalability might be affected in short-term.
