When the bounce comes, it will quick, so chances are unless you sit in front of a screen 24/7, the chances of missing it and having to buy in much higher are very high.

To be fair.. this is what limit orders are for (or stop-limit orders)

Good point, but it could be hours, days or weeks away...... But leaving currency on an exchange for long periods of time is generally not a great idea.

Open TN

Thanks for the fast response, I understand what you are saying, but I was just pointing out I felt a bit mislead.

On the upside most people I have spoken to in person (not forums etc.), have said the same as what I have been thinking.
Which is: although the token circulation shown on marketcap is generally seen as incorrect. The circulation is still very low and the trade volume very low, so even though there's a high chance this will go down a bit and level out for a while. When the bounce comes, it will quick, so chances are unless you sit in front of a screen 24/7, the chances of missing it and having to buy in much higher are very high.

Most of the people I talk to about this token are day trader or ex. day trader types who find it hard to see value in most tokens. Where as this has backing of a fairly strong company with experience in online trades, money transfers and customer service. Which most start ups just don't have. The main risk here is in the block chain bit, which I see as a lower risk than the other 3, particularly if the if the coders are willing to ask for help if they get stuck (something I think they should do if the case arises). Very easy to do if its open source, although I fully under stand why some company's go route if I don't fully agree will it.

To sum up I'm not bashing this token, just felt I needed to put some thoughts out there, partly because of the fud, some real facts might come from it and help.

I'm also looking out for info on fee structure and the token swap (then what they can used for), although all this could be a way off yet. This sort of info would make a stronger case for buying more.

The CEO was announced in December before the IP hack (about a week), also a mention of upcoming ICO.

This must have changed its name to crowd sale.

If you read the white paper, i like the idea of the token buy back and burning.
Also advertising (much needed) and reserve funds.

Still looking at numbers, but the valuation seems a bit high to me.

I use Etherdelta almost every day (when it works), lately has had a few loading issues.

Definitely not a scam as it has been announced several times prior.

I guess Zack will take a bit of a back seat through the changes.

Just got an air drop from this token

But ran the the numbers...............

Then worked out over three quarters were dropped in there own wallets.
The drop being the holding bonus of 2000000 tokens, but just over 320000 were sent to active wallets (some of these would be staff i guess).
The others being OTN workers (IQ Options) wallets. So its like i will share this 20 will you lot, but splitting it and keeping 10, then splitting the 10 and keeping 5, then getting a whole load of change and splitting that.

To be fair I read the white paper and it does not say there not giving to staff, but does seem misleading ,as i did not notice this fact the first time reading.

So it seems of the 21million total tokens they give as bonus for using platform and holding, over 75% of that goes to themselves.

I kind of hope I've missed the point here or made a mistake. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

In a way i feel silly pointing this out as i am still holding (four figures $), but also feel this should be pointed out, as i missed it first time round.

All that being said, i still think its a good project if they do what they say there going to do (they have so far) and the FEE's are not too high.

I'm assuming the tokens can be used to pay transfer fees after the token swap later on.

Board Mining
Possibly silly thoughts and questions

Hello

After looking up specs of some mining machines and putting them up for sale, I noticed most of these machines waste a high amount of energy. Firstly converting AC power to DC at a much lower voltage and cooling power supply that's working hard to keep up. Then running fans to blow head off the heat sinks that are taking heat off the chips that are also working very hard. Next in a lot of cases trying to cool the building that houses all this.

Common sense to me says start with AC in the first place, then use heat recovery to cool the chips down, also under clocking the chips to use less power and run cooler in the first place. I know some people use solar and wind, but  they seem to convert from DC to AC then use a power supply to convert back to DC, seems crazy to me.

With a large power bank (battery), you could cut out the AC bit.

Maybe I've missed something?

I understand this would may not work for the home user, but bigger player's it could and there  would be next no noise. A lot less fans.

Ok

looked into over clocking can go 20% but the current draw go up as the chips will want more voltage, but under clocking the they need less voltage and run a lot cooler that makes me  think the chips could be set up with a solar or wind unit in another way.

It looks like the chip boards in the cases are those the person above warned about, but I have the newer safer chips unused ready to go, so the other may be good for under clocking with another power system. The computer part looks like an android phone so must be quite simple.

I could be up for making some thing interesting if some one is interested who understands mining, having never done mining, part of it is still a puzzle. My assumption would be collecting 24-36 volts and transforming down to 12 or 10 and 5 volts one could run the left over chips slower and run for very little cost. Linked to a battery could be set to shut  down and start up when power is available. I have made remote devices in the past, mostly radio type transmitters, but other stuff too.

I will see if i can under stand the circuits when i get time.

Just a thought to throw out there

Hello again

1st question - overclocking yes i believe they can but i have never used them a little research needed

2nd - I was hoping to sell as a lot in person as i have a number of updated chips also and i have not tested other than plugging one in. Or ever mined before, so my under standing on how they work is limited. Hoping for £650 the lot, but would ask £200 for one.

As for the second comment, i have a quantity of updated chips that i assume solve this issue. But would prefer to sell to someone who knows what they are doing. As far as i am aware these machines have never been used.

Hope this helps

hello

i have 5 blackarrow mining machines from the past, they are all the same

the model is :
Black Arrow Prospero X-3 and they are rack mounted with Minion chips

best to look the model up if unfamiliar

the specs say any where between 1200gh/s and 2000gh/s

also these can be over clocked

i have not used these and the previous has not either as far i know

they are a little bit cosmetically damaged though

i pugged one in and it fired up fine although did not try hashing

also have some more chips from the same period (slightly newer)

located in the south of england, would be happy to deliver to some locations in the south

surrey, sussex kent and london then they could be tested properly

please send pm if you need my number or post questions

prefer offer on the lot
