Re: How much lucky have you got with crypto airdrops ?

There are some guys who made millions with crypto airdrops. Do not believe me? Here are some credible news sources covering these crypto airdrops hunters :
The time people were making millions from airdrop have passed, what we have now are worthless aairdrops and of you even get lucky to participate on one of them that made it to the market and have volume,  the reward will be very small  that you might even regret wasting time to do the little tasks involved such as joining their social media communities and engage their contents.
actually you are right, because that was once a method to promote cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin and as of that time many of the AirDrop survived but recently I don't think that there are people who make such kind of profit from air drop any longer, another thing is that we should not overlooked it because some people may be profiting on it right now but based on we don't have interest or so many persons does not have interest on it then may think that there is nothing on it, probably maybe people who is into it as I said may be having a profit while the are into it right till now
The early participants that involved themselves in  airdrops and bounty made huge amounts of money from so many airdrops but what we are seeing these days is the opposite of what participants supposed to be getting from crypto airdrops.

Many projects that are launching Airdrops now are very greedy and they don't even want to reward their community in a way that everybody would benefit after so many tasks given to them to accomplish in the limited shortest time.

Can you name some of those airdrops ?

XRP is hard to predict. The pump always came out of nowhere. Sometime when bitcoin rally happens XRP also pump. Sometimes it didn't.
It doesn't even follow the altcoin cycle. I'd only invest in it if the price is cheap. As for now I'm focused on where the spotlight is which is ETH.

Trump is literally building defi in there securing billions in funds and TVL.

I doubt it will be cheap than current prices. If next bull run cycle starts, it might be available for 2x or 3x.

As far as am concern only bitcoin and Ethereum can give ROI, although Ethereum is just getting started like bitcoin, but Litecoin no no, because Litecoin can't give ROI as it stands now, litecoin is a coin  that is not even sure of getting to new all time high anytime soon the coin is still struggling with price which I don't see any future in that coin anymore. The only two coins I see future in  are bitcoin the father of all cryptocurrency and Ethereum the coin following bitcoin another coin aside this two coins is still struggling.

That is true for long term. In short term many coins beat bitcoin based on weekly or monthly returns .

Well I do think there is alot of coins we can make profit in the next 'bull run'. And this week Ripple is up more then 4 percent. Only Ethereum and Solana did make more gains in that time for the top alt coins.

The exchange Gemini does now have a XRP credit card. It is only for the US so I will not get it but I do think it is 'bullish' news for this coin.

https://dailycoin.com/geminis-new-xrp-card-launches-gets-nod-from-ripple-ceo/

Imagine a major exchange like Binance also following this. The price of ripple can double in 24 hours on such a news .

Well yes I do think it will make Ripple go on a very big 'bull run'. It did make some gains in this week but now it is down.
I do think it is because 2.2 Billion xrp did just move. https://www.binance.com/en/square/post/29109194263210
And I do think now is a good time to invest and buy some cheaper xrp. 1 is only now $2.79.

What can be the reason behind movement of so many Ripple ?

No.

That is not happening any time soon.

Check the LTCBTC graph and you'll see what I mean.

I am not good at reading graphs but based on replies on my thread, I will also book profits with litecoin and shift to bitcoin now.

Re: Can Axie Infinity make a comeback in the bull run?

AXS has fallen to -98.6% from its 2021 ATH, falling even further --- while you shouldn't expect this rise to happen because it's impossible for me to believe in this token.

Besides, the Axie Infinity game is now outdated and no longer hyped, so it's likely that many communities have left this project, including the game itself. Therefore, look for other altcoins that have more potential rather than expecting this one to rise.

You mean the trust is already shaken by big margin and thus recovery is very hard ?

Well in today I do not think we can make alot of profit from the airdrops. It is not like how it did use to be when there was ICO airdrops giving out so many tokens.

And now if we get in a airdrop well maybe we can not even trade the tokens. There is alot more scams and 'rug pulls' from projects that for me I will not want any coins we can just have for doing some easy tasks.
There are certainly some good airdrop out there, but it's hard to find.

Too many competition and dilution causes this. There are so many botters out there running their rigs 24/7 to bot the shit out of the project and that's why projects are starting to charge people fees to avoid this which I'm not a fan of.

Yes, airdrop of today is just full of scam, unlike back then where we can just submit address and get coins for free.
So, we need to automate to make any significant gains ?

Short term or long term?

It is obvious that nothing can compete with bitcoin in the long term simply because none of them have any true potential or anything new to offer that is useful in the real world that can get them the adoption they need to truly grow.
This is evident from the past 16 years and tens of thousands of altcoins that have been created, many of which already dead.

In short term things are different. For example you may find a 24-hour period or longer where any shitcoin gets pumped big time and "outperforms" bitcoin! That is the natural course of the altcoin market. But that is just pump and dumps and for risk takers.
Another thing to consider for old altcoins is that their "pumpability" decreases over time. Because people get bored of them and also because the number of bag-holders increase over time. Therefore each time they get pumped, there will exist a larger number of bag-holders who will sell and dump the price sooner. This means a coin like LTC will have a much harder time to get pumped even in short term to "outperform" bitcoin...

I do agree with points you raise. Like it is hard for other coins to compete with bitcoin in 5-10 year frame.

When we see 24-hours period, there are many new coins doing better than bitcoin. But I will avoid them because we cannot predict which altcoins will follow this pattern.

Let us say, if we are looking for a time frame of 6 months to 1 year from now, is it possible for litecoin to leave behind bitcoin ?

Re: Can Axie Infinity make a comeback in the bull run?
by
arhipova
on 30/08/2025, 10:22:40 UTC
Axie Infinity can't make comeback during the bullrun. my reason is

1. Overrated game and boring gameplay. 2d game in 2025 is just crap.
2. Inflated tokens and infinite supply
3. Not sustainable game economy
4. The locked tokens that probable gets unlock
5. Importantly less demand.

Those reasons are enough to explain why Axie will never ever make comeback during the bullrun. Just look at its performance during the November - December bullrun. It's very disappointing, isn't it?

They cannot make changes now like changing 2d to 3d  ?

It is very clear that litecoin is saturated already if that is the word I should use for you to understand.

Bitcoin gave higher ROI if you compared both since their highest prices in 2021 to now. Litecoin is very far from all-time high. I do not think litecoin can even get to all-time high because it is more than 3x lower than its all-time high.
I am very surprised with that performance. Even most of my clients like to pay with LTC because it is friendly to use. Still , it is not reflected in prices.

Re: Can Axie Infinity make a comeback in the bull run?

This is very difficult to achieve due to several issues with the Axie Infinity project.
1. They don't have a maximum supply, so the potential for inflation is much higher than the potential for price increases.
2. The game's payout isn't as good as it sounds; some players are fed up with the mechanics.
3. I remember having to buy Axies before starting the game.
4. Axie's decline was too steep; their ATH was $165, and today it's only $2.39.

And the narrative surrounding the game project has really declined. Today's investment isn't focused on games that are just a waste of time and result in losses, especially with holding their tokens. If they don't offer substantial rewards and engaging gameplay mechanics that make the game enjoyable, there won't be a massive following.

Their user base has also steadily declined over time, and you have to remember that games are short-lived on the Web 3. Especially if the developer doesn't create a competitive game system and guarantees good returns, users will reconsider and try other, more profitable games.

There's no growth, and the data looks flat.

I am holding some in loss. Do you suggest me to book losses ?

I have observed that ripple has not moved much recently. Other altcoins like solana are moving very fast. So, is an investment in ripple expected to give more returns compared to all the other altcoins in next bull run ?
We don't know that, because last 2021 XRP didn't moved a lot. But to say that it didn't moved much recently, you've got to look at it several months ago on how much it was. The price of it right now is actually buffed and that's why those who have held for so long are into break even or those who have bought since last year might be in profit already. While others are trying to prepare for the next bull run and that's the right thing to do, we don't know if it will still be the same for XRP by that time comes.

So not point in accumulating it for now ?

Litecoin often follows Bitcoin but with higher volatility. Can it deliver higher ROI this time? Or Litecoin is also a saturated coin because of already having very big market cap.

Don't really need luck but contribute to their project.

However, there's something that these kind of article didn't disclose. It's the capital needed to follow an airdrop.
The recent airdrop like treehouse, huma, etc requires you to stake your capital and to get good enough money. Usually at minimum you need 10k USD or something to get 1k - 2k reward.

If you're doing testnet however, consider it already botted that you're more likely to get $5 out of it. In some case you can get really good airdrop like walrus, but that kind of thing comes once in a while.

1k return on 10 k investment in few months is not bad at all. You are getting much more to what you will get if the money was kept in bank account.

In many cases, the shift has already happened and impact is noticeable. Like , 90% of content writers lost work because of AI. Same way 60-70% of companies have removed human support agents and providing support with the help of AI. Same way many other jobs are impacted. The companies working in AI know that there will be lot of demand for AI tools and services and that is why they are investing billions in it.

Re: Is Bitcoin just for the rich?
by
arhipova
on 20/07/2025, 07:26:22 UTC
Someone said that Bitcoin is for the rich, but that's not completely true. It might feel like Bitcoin is for the rich due to the media focuses on celebrities and billionaires buying and benefiting from Bitcoin. This creates a perception that Bitcoin is a rich person's asset. Even during network congestion, fees can spike making small transactions very expensive. But let's not forget that Bitcoin is neutral, it can empower the rich or help lift the poor, it actually depends on how communities adopt it. So understand that Bitcoin is for everyone, you can buy tiny fractions, not until you afford a whole Bitcoin.

That is not at all true. Even the poor has lot of opportunities to earn crypto and grow. Like a student learning web designing can design websites for international clients and charge them in bitcoins. They are not at all limited by lack of capital and there is no restriction on them that they cannot own any bitcoins.
