Re: Would you rather….

Would you rather play in a casino where you win a lot and big ones too but has strict KYC implementation and is a headache to actually cash out from or play in a casino with no KYC, totally private and secure but doesn’t let you win a lot?

I know that in casinos, there’s not much difference between rates of winning because it’s random but hypothetically which one is more important for you? Profit or Privacy?

I'd rather choose to play on the casino which I know a good platform to play even if they have strict implementation of KYC, but I believe those hardship on cashing out is provably due to some verification but I'm fine with it as long as I can take my withdrawals at the end of the day.

Compare if we gamble on rigged with no KYC casino which is winning is uncertain since we are just wasting our time also money for playing in that casino. Also losing is no fun even if there are people say that they gamble just to have fun.

Pero mas maganda sana kung nilakihan mo ng unti at yung nilagay mo na word ay We buy and sell Bitcoin here para mas klaro at madaling matandaan ng mga tao.

Good luck nadin at sana mag succeed ka kabayan.

Seems like rain bet is doing a super push in marketing strategy here in the forum and is good for all of us.
Not only expanding a lot his signature campaign like we are already seeing but also sponsoring some contest across all the forum.
Let's see if they are still here with this power in the next year when the world cup is gonna be played. Maybe some nasty and good promos can be dropped.

They make sure to get lots of exposure by getting lots of signature campaign participants and make their banner visible to lots of people.

With those things we could see that they are pretty much serious dealing with people and Rainbet show that they are willing to spend lots of money just to get lots of exposure to more gamblers in this forum.

I believe they would stay for long time here since Rainbet is already well establish casino and known by lots of people here.

Re: 2025 NBA Season

That's something that other team may think twice before following that same track just to keep their star player, though knowing that there are franchise owners who are willing to gamble just to keep their main star, but still that's something that will hurt the business financially and also the capabilities of your team as for now, still waiting for the findings and what might be the possible sanctions.

This is too bad for Clippers if proven guilty since they have the best chance to get better positioning to playoffs due to their current roster and with Kawhi playing more games.

Clippers owner is willing to risk it all just to push this roster in tact while they can.

Story like this should be backed by evidence before release to the public though because it can affect to the franchise during the investigation.

If they found out guilty for sure that this can affect their team so bad. Knowing Leonard is their main star and their rotation would provably got affected in this situation.

Now for sure many are curious to know the latest updates of their case since if it happens that Leonard and the team owner will get penalize in this situation for sure that lots of teams would think twice for doing the same action. Also if Leonard will get suspended I think it would be so hard for Clippers to advance on Playoffs or reach more deeper position. So lets see what will happen to those parties affected then see if they will be found guilty or not.

Re: Crypto owner losses ≈ $1 million after fake job interview
by
arwin100
on 08/09/2025, 10:08:26 UTC
This is episode #2 of stories involving crypto owners who were hacked and/or lost a lot of money to various online scams. Last month, I wrote BTC Investor Losses 7,4 BTC with Fake Sparrow Wallet Mobile App.
This is a more complex story and a more advanced scam that resulted in Alexander Choi losing $996,000 in various coins and tokens.

Here is what happened...

The story begins with Alexander being approached over X by some token community profile regarding a partnership opportunity. They were interested in working with him and asked him to schedule a call to talk more. They had two meetings over Microsoft Teams, and everything seemed legitimate and done professionally. The first person Alexander spoke to introduced himself as Dan. He had an American accent and was well-spoken. They discussed the future and how they could cooperate because Alex is also a crypto founder. They spoke again two days later. This time, another cofounder joined the meeting to discuss their plans.

Two days go by, and Alexander gets a notification on his phone that some crypto got transferred out of one of his wallets. He checked several wallets on his PC and noticed that each one had been emptied. In total, he claims that almost 150 different wallets and addresses got drained of all their coins.

Alexander then did some more research on the SPARK token community he was talking to. Turns out, they had fake followers and were involved with another rug pull in the past under a different name.

The money is gone now, and he will probably never get it back.

But there are several things you can do differently from Alexander to not get yourself in a similar situation:
- Don't hold your crypto in hot wallets. Especially not on devices you use for everyday activities. If Alexander's crypto had been in a hardware wallet, an airgapped computer, or a second computer he only uses for crypto, this could have been avoided. There is no reason to hold $1 million worth of crypto on an internet-connected device when there are safer options around.
- Take your time to investigate and research people and projects. Alexander found out these people were scammers, but only after they scammed him. Why didn't he do his due diligence before?
- Always be careful and suspicious. It's still unclear what kind of Microsoft Teams meeting Alex attended. He claims it was an official link, but who knows. Fake links with extensions and scripts are shared this way. One wrong click and you invite malware and drainers into your system.

If you want to read the full story, you can do so here:
https://x.com/notalexchoi/status/1964464236710461885

This is another unfortunate lose for people seeking for job and instead of getting some income from the job they think could able to get from that interview here they are got fall from old job scam tricks done by those scammers.

I heard about same situation happened before and also cointelegraph and gate have an article about this https://cointelegraph.com/learn/articles/crypto-job-scams also this https://www.gate.com/learn/articles/crypto-job-scams-a-warning-guide/7508

To bad that there are still vulnerable people who fall for this schemes so again to avoid getting a problem towards this matter its really better for people to verify what they are trying to avail or get online.

This is another unfortunate story but somehow people could learn from the experience gotten by that person.

Team's Failure, who is Responsible?

This is the question we should always ask ourselves in gambling whenever we are are playing bets, then discovered that the team we supported in sport bets for instance does not perform as we expected in their match.

Who do we often often blame to be responsible for the failure to deliver, is it the coach or the players, because the two plays the most important roles towards the performance of a team in winning or loosing a match play, so let's discuss about who's responsible and should receive the blame.

They could start to look at the problem then see it first if the coaching staff handling them is doing their job. Since if it happens that they are not doing good because they don't know how to use those players and can't find good chemistry due to faulty system they are using, maybe their management changes need to happen so they can introduce new that might work for their players.

But if it happens that still they didn't work and became effective after that move then better to rebuild then eliminate those players that they think causing a problem for their teams failure and find a player which is good fit that can help their team to win.

Well to me I have come with the concept that say By prioritizing risk management, individuals can make more informed decisions and avoid unnecessary pitfalls. Whether in trading, investing, or other high-risk activities, a solid understanding of risk management is essential for achieving long-term success.
Risk management is what distinguish a wise gambling from an addicted gambler and it requires that before you ever place a bet, you would have calculated the level of risk involved and the corresponding amount of money you are putting into it in relation to the balance you have to justify that bet. In other words, you act in appreciation of the fact that you don't control the outcome of the bet but you can only control how much leaves your account per bet and ensure you stay long enough in the business to be able to have the opportunity to profit from the business of gambling.

But I don't think that they will have that kind of discipline especially if people already suffering from addiction.

Risk management is done by some well discipline gamblers and if they are failed to that then for sure that they would suffer on the consequences of their future actions. That's why its better for people to eliminate their greed and just enjoy the games they are playing since its really more better to gamble without us chasing something which hard to reach. If they want to have fun then there are lots of promotion happening especially here in Rainbet and just think about winning some prizes is just a bonus for them.

Re: Engineers, DPWH Bulacan officials blew 300m each in casinos?
by
arwin100
on 07/09/2025, 10:07:56 UTC
Just read a report that 2 DPWH Bulacan officials, one a district engineer, the other a staff, blew around P300M (or over $5 million) each in casino gambling, even using aliases. This came out in the Senate Blue Ribbon probe on ghost flood projects.

One of them, Engr. Henry Alcantara, admitted playing 2–3 times a month, while his aide Brice Hernandez bet even bigger. Aside from that, they’re also accused of forging signatures and pocketing funds.

Question is, how can gov officials gamble that big when their salary won’t even cover a fraction of it? Corruption? Loans? What do you think?

source : https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2025/09/02/2469907/dpwh-engineers-blew-over-p300-million-casinos-says-lacson

And look at this https://elibrary.judiciary.gov.ph/thebookshelf/showdocs/8/71381 government officials are also prohibited to participate or to gamble in a casino.

But here they are wasting the funds of people. This is totally awful situation and imagine they are just engineers, how much more on other departments including those politicians behind them. For sure they stole lots of money to people.

Its clear that this people is involve in corruption so hopefully that we could see this people rot in jail.

Re: Will banks One day accept Bitcoin deposit?
by
arwin100
on 07/09/2025, 08:32:13 UTC
One day banks will accept Bitcoin as medium of exchange and accept deposits from bitcoiners. As soon as the world powers accept it as medium of exchange.
I don't think that banks have any particular incentive to accelerate the adoption of Bitcoin, but history demonstrates that they do eventually change when the stress is sufficiently high. Consider how the internet began, how it was disregarded by traditional institutions that then opposed it, and now they cannot live without it. There are already some smaller banks who are testing custody services due to client demands, despite their late mover status by the big banks.
The moral of the storey here is not that banks should legitimise Bitcoin, go ahead and use it as it was meant to be, peer to peer, and continue to use it until such time as they do.

But actually base on this site there are banks already that accepts this kind of option https://en.zcredito.com/banks-that-accept-cryptocurrency-deposits/

I never tried this yet, but if it happens that there are people who can access and try those banks if its possible to deposit there then maybe they should give a shot if they are really seeking for banks accepting this kind of option.

Hopefully we could see more banks accepting this since this is great for Bitcoin and for its global adoption.

Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’
by

on 06/09/2025, 22:17:17 UTC

It doesn't matter the amount they could buy in a month, what matters most is their consistency in buying bitcoin every month since November 2024, they haven't missed any month without buying so it's surely a good strategy for them because while they might be buying at high price, they will also meet the DIP in some months which is an added advantage to maximize their profits.

Agree and what happen is not big deal at all. MicroStrategy accumulation is unpredictable and we don't know on how many Bitcoin purchase they will made on their next accumulation.
a

What's really important here is they accumulate and everything still good. Their consistency what matter the most and for sure that we could see more from them since Saylor also MicroStrategy is doing good then bullish with Bitcoin.

They don't care whatever price Bitcoin reach so they provably would buy more Bitcoin and hit some more volumes at the dip like current situation happening these days.

Re: 🟢 Rainbet.com | Crypto Casino & Sportsbook | Competitive Rewards 🎁

There is something that people say that you should be very careful after a win because after a win is usually a time that people can forget themselves and ignore all the discipline that they have been practicing. Winning in gambling should not be an excuse to automatically change your gambling habits, to do things like increasing the budget or amount which you gamble with. After a win, especially a huge one, a gambler should take some time off from gambling, to evaluate their next action, and plan properly for the amount of money that they have won. If you take some time off, and even spend some time away from the pressure of friends and family, chances of making better decisions increases significantly.
When you win, you feel you are a pro at gambling. You can beat the casino and ignore all the things you set it before. Your passion rises more than before and makes you feel more confident so you want to win more. But unfortunately, the chance to win more will not be bigger and you can lose anytime in the next rounds. Yes, a big win can make someone lose control and place a high bet to win bigger. If he can take some time to break or leave the casino to calm down his tension, he will not be tempted to chase more winning. He will feel enough about his win and he will reduce the pressure after gambling.

When you are into that situation, you will really feel like you can able to flip more wins in your favor. But unfortunately that's not going to happen at the end since there's unfortunate shift of momentum which can make the gamblers loser especially if they didn't manage well their bankroll.

That's why people need to know when to settle up and don't be to much greedy asking for more bigger result. Big win can actually make those people lose control and we've seen lots of times that instead of gaining huge already they got frustrate then bet more then what happen next is they lose everything they have.

So choose the best approach and just gamble to have fun then if they win better settle up then learn to exit.

Re: Casinos forcing KYC after big wins, legal or scammy?
by
arwin100
on 06/09/2025, 12:53:53 UTC
I’ve noticed some scam accusation posts against certain casinos, and there seems to be a trend here.

Some casinos advertise themselves as KYC-free, but the moment you win big, that’s when they suddenly put all the requirements on you. And it’s not just basic KYC, they ask for heavy documents like passports, and some even request bank account details.

So I’m wondering, is this really a legal safeguard, or are they just using it as their own policy to forfeit players’ winnings?
This is actually a serious concern. Most of us might not have reached that level yet, but what if one day we do hit it big and end up facing the same situation?

It could be an excuse to delay the winners and to see if the scammy casino would find a valid grounds to not credit the winnings of their winner. Lots of scam casino did this from the past and even if we already provide those documents they ask still they didn't release the funds and turn down those valid request done by their gamblers.

But there are for compliance and verification. We can notice it after we submit our documents and they release the funds after we are cleared with those documents they required.

That's why picking reputable casino is the best thing to do, so that we can avoid this kind of troubles.

Bale plan mo na ikaw yung merchant na mag exchange ng Bitcoin or any crypto to fiat?

But somehow good idea especially if gusto mo mag start ng ganitong business in your place kabayan.

Re: Philippine House has introduced a bill to establish a strategic bitcoin reserve.
by

on 06/09/2025, 10:21:55 UTC

if I'm not mistaken, no country who has come up with the plan of making a Bitcoin reserve that has actualized it so if your country becomes the first, it would set a rolling stone for others to follow.

Did you forget El Salvador and Bhutan? They are two pioneering countries in adding bitcoin to their national reserves. But maybe they are too small so not many people care and pay attention.

If the Philippines can pass the bitcoin reserve bill, they will become the third country in the world to have a bitcoin reserve, not the first. But like the other two countries, the Philippines is just a small country in Southeast Asia and has the 32nd largest economy in the world. I don't think they can convince many other countries, especially the major powers to follow their lead.

If you are a Bitcoin user or investor for sure you know this country.

The developments they made for their investment on Bitcoin always getting media attention.

That's why for sure lots of people get an update about what are the latest developments happened to these countries.

Lots of people are skeptical towards the passage of the bill since we can't deny that there are lots of problem on current administration since there's rampant corruption happening. Then also they are busy with political attacks to other party.

But since there's already filled bill towards creating this reserve there's still a chance for its approval. So lets see the future announcement regarding on the updates of this filled bill. Because for sure if congress would find this a good strategic investment option for our country to take they would pass this.

Hey there everyone! I'm not entirely sure if this counts as breaking the rules, but doesn't the rule clearly state that one thread per site here!? I just noticed that there are actually two active threads related to TonPoker. One is their original ANN thread, and the other is their Poker Tournament.  Shouldnt it fall under the same rule? Or is it allowed in this case!?  Undecided

The second thread they created is for discussion of their poker tournament.

So I think for them not to break rules on gambling section its better that they move that second one to gambling discussion board. Lots of casinos post their discussion thread on that board and they are fine for doing this and lots of people are going there especially if there's especially events happening in their casino just like this.

But let see if the moderator will allow this to be posted together with their ann thread in gambling section or they transfer it later on on what they think right board it belong.

MANILA, Philippines —  The national database containing 500,000 names barred from playing in casinos has been hacked, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco revealed yesterday.

https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2025/09/04/2470332/pagcor-list-restricted-casino-players-hacked

And it seems that the Philippines can't really get out of anything about gambling as it was reported that there were hacks in the PAGCOR database. Initially though it was reported that it's the players in every casino.

But now they said that those hack accounts are those who have been ban or requested for self-inclusion.

However, this is still a hack no matter how they try to cover what kind of data has been lost to the criminals.

That's huge data breach happened and I don't know if I'm affected with this latest issue happening since I suddenly receive a text message of casino promotion offering bonuses if I sign up on the link they provided.

But I just ignore that message since I know its so risky to try. Also don't trust those casino doing spam promotions.

PH government should pay attention on that issue happen since that data breach is so risky and we might receive more disturbing text message or other offers came from those criminals.

I just found out that there is a fishing game in this casino, like a new game, because it doesn't seem to exist in other casinos, or did I just miss it?

If you get a big multiplier the fish will be transported by helicopter to lift the big fish this seems good for fishing enthusiasts because it's in casino betting.

The name of the game is... Ice Fishing from Evolution.
https://roobet.com/casino/game/evolution:IceFishing
This will certainly be a new sensation, especially for those who enjoy fishing in the real world. I've never played this game, but I'm curious to see how it works, and I'll give it a try soon.

It seems to be a trend where games are adopting many of the things they do in real life. This is an innovation offered by casinos to give users the same experience as they would in the real world, but with a wagering version.

Provably it can catch the attention of those people who's into fishing and also a gambler since for sure that they would try this game especially if they are regularly playing in Roobet.

But tried to check it right now but the game doesn't load well at my end. Maybe got some network issue or I just can't access the game due to geo restriction issue, but will try later on to see if this game is really good to play.

Maybe those adoption they made is part of evolution of the games and its good to see them being updated regarding on those changes.
