It's a shame us "regular" traders in the USA cannot invest in the ICO simply because we're not "accredited investors". The whole point of ICO's and the blockchain was to decentralize and make these things accessible to the everyday person...

Re: [LIF] Winding Tree - Decentralized Travel Distribution || LUFTHANSA, SWISS
9-10 lif token will cost 1 ETH , so 1lif token 120$ is a very high price for a 10 million market cap coin and for a new ICO. 900-100lif token for 1 ETH will be a nice price , you and your team should think about it.
Although the number of tokens they offer in of itself doesn't make a difference, you're right in that people who aren't familiar with economics will perceive it as being "expensive" and may deter them from investing...

Re: [LIF] Winding Tree - Decentralized Travel Distribution || LUFTHANSA, SWISS
1. Has Winding Tree talked to any startups about using their API (and have they agreed to use it)? 2. Do you see a potential for Lif coin to join the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the foreseeable future?
Thank you
1 - Yes, we've had more than 50 startups signup to our early access platform and are also talking to established companies in the travel space. 2 - What I think doesn't matter. Do your own due diligence and contribute to projects you think are worthwhile. The only tip I can give you is that if an ICO promises anything in terms of ROI or positioning, run away as fast as you can!
2 - Good point!
I see that Winding Tree will use 10% of their proceeds on Marketing and BD... will the marketing be focused more on travel companies/startups/agencies, crypto enthusiasts, or the average traveling person? Although these paths are different, I can see each having their own benefits.

Two Questions:
1. Has Winding Tree talked to any startups about using their API (and have they agreed to use it)? 2. Do you see a potential for Lif coin to join the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the foreseeable future?
Thank you

Re: [ANN][LIF] Winding Tree, Decentralizing The $7 Trillion Travel Industry
[I'm a cryptocurrency nub] During the LÍF TOKEN GENERATION EVENT, will I be able to buy Lif tokens on Bittrex? Or do I have to use www.myetherwallet.com?
Hey, definitely send any contribution from a wallet of which you own the private keys! When you hold funds in an exchange you don't actually really own them, if the exchange shuts down those funds are gone. We definitely recommend myetherwallet, I even recommend you not keep funds on an exchange ever unless you're trading them!
Thanks for the advice!
One other question--because Winding Tree is planning to be non-profit, would investing in Lyf tokens still be worthwhile/profitable for us investors? Thanks again!
Hey,
the value of the tokens will increase along with the adoption of the platform, as the tokens are of limited supply. The total supply is determined as soon as out TGE ends. That said, we would want people participating in our TGE to believe in the project rather than looking at it from a purely financial perspective.
Yeah, I agree. I'm going to be working at a travel startup soon, and what you guys are doing could greatly benefit the startup, as well as travelers and the whole industry (outside of the travel giants of course). I hope you guys fix the system, and I'll be cheering you guys on from the sidelines. Best of luck!
Kind words. Thank you! You should join our slack channel, we have a lot of discussions and questions floating around there!
Will do!
