There is no longer the need to pay anyone to unlock your funds.
Just email the bank and ask for the instructions as explained.

Then follow them and your funds will get unlocked in 24 to 48 hours.

So good news guys. If its working all a board. I tried and got refusal. Maybe because I done something wrong.

Tell them you are abroad and cannot go to the branch.
They will then give you the details to unlock the funds

Customer service - kontakt@mbank.pl
They take 2 to 3 days to reply.

They will then send you the document with instructions and tell you to email it to prepaid@mbank.pl

Some people just wont learn ...
These cards are being blocked left and right by Polish banks.
It doesn't matter if they are sold by seller A or B
What matters is that some people that buy them will use them to either commit fraud or siphon stolen funds and then the bank will block the entire batch of cards.

Buy them and put your fund there at your own risk ...

My account was blocked for months and I kept nagging them every now and then on their customer service email.
They told they were working on a process for foreign customers.

Last week I nagged them again and received a reply with a form to print, fill out and email them back with a copy of my ID and the card.
I also had to transfer 1€ with a text string in the description to the card IBAN.

Yesterday I received an email that the card was unlocked and I was able to purchase online with the card.
Of the 700€ I had on hold there, I have spent yesterday 600€

For me it worked ...

This is for mBank cards only.

There seems to exist a solution for customers to unlock their funds without going to the bank in Poland.
Email their customer service and ask to verify your account remotely.
They will ask for a copy of your ID and the credit card.

Follow their instructions and hope that it works Smiley

After 1 week, and after being requested to send proof of ID by email, I was told I must go to the bank in Poland.
The only alternative is to ask by phone to transfer money to another polish bank account.

These guys are fraudsters ... Clearly the whole cheap prepaid VISA card scheme was designed for this from the beginning.

I wonder why they asked for my scanned ID only to have it refused after that.

Can anyone tell if they already manage to get an account unlock by going to poland?
I don't want to take a 1000km drive only to be turned back without my money.

Can anyone tell me how long they are taking to reply to emails?
I sent 3 emails Thursday and Friday and no reply so far.

Also, as anyone already been able to unlock a card either remotely or by walking into a branch in Poland?
