To date, I have never used a VPN even though casinos say it's okay. But you need to know that problems can arise without you realizing it. What if you win big and then use a VPN? This will attract the casino's attention.
Sound advice. When will gamblers realize that using VPNs irrespective of whether casinos say it's okay or not is risky since they can use it to their advantage to screw over customers in a legit manner.

Mirror links are a far better solution and their customer care themselves help with providing new ones regularly wherever I played.

Gamblers here is provably aware on the consequences brought up using VPN that's why I guess there's only few people use that especially if they know the casino is not VPN friendly.

For sure that those people will use that and commit mistakes are usually new. This is how important to join on public discussions since they would know lot of things and if they read the TOS of the casino then they became more knowledgeable on the rules other things applied by the casino. Mirror links is one of the best option if they want to access the casino and they should try to ask this on their support to get the real link, also to verify if they are allowed to gamble using it.

This is somehow a great way to answer the allegation of IMF. Those accumulation they made is good since that means they are not bothered on negative words try to spread by that institution against El Salvador.

I guess I would believe more that El Salvador is consistently buying Bitcoin especially that they are doing great so far on each action they do. Also they remain to be a Bitcoin friendly nation and didn't get much bother even if there's powerful forces try to stop them on what they have currently done with Bitcoin. I wish them to succeed more so that they can slap IMF in the face that they are doing better with Bitcoin and leave a statement that IMF can't control nor have powers to interfere their internal decisions.

Dear Users,

In the early hours of July 16, BigONE detected abnormal movements involving a portion of the platform’s assets. Upon investigation, it was confirmed to be the result of a third-party attack targeting our hot wallet.

https://bigone.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/48916067512345-BigONE-Security-Incident-Disclosure-and-Progress-Update-July-16

Anyone have use this cryptocurrency exchange? As it seems that it is the latest victim, a $27 million hack on their system. It's not that big as compare to other exchanges, but still the amount of money could be huge for them as I will admit that I haven't heard about this crypto exchanges before so they could be in the tier B or tier C. So the impact could be huge for them.

BigOne?
I have never used or heard about the exchange.
Why are there too many exchanges.
And why they all receive patronage?
Thank our goodness that this one is not very popular,
And the impact is not felt in the market.
Anyone reminder of Not-Your-Keys, Not-Your-Coins.

Never heard about this exchange to and upon doing some research about their background BigOne launch their platform since 2017 https://bigone.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001956293-About-BigONE

They didn't even manage to get huge exposure to people using crypto.

They are experiencing a internal system breach and this is really bad because this put some certain reminder to other small exchange to check their platform security since there's rampant hacking issues happened on many exchange lately. Also its another great reminder for people not to entrust their funds on exchange since hacking is possible to happen and we don't know if that exchange can cover up those losses they get from those hacking they experience.

Re: Is it still gambling if you're sure you're going to win?

There are event you can predict on that even though it's not 💯 guaranteed that you're going to win,  a level of certainty makes you think that you're surely going to win.

The downside of that feeling is that you might become over confident to use a big amount in the game since you're to a large extent certain that you're going to win.

Can we still say we are gambling if the event is something we are at least 90% sure that we are going to win?

Is there anything like that exist? because there's no one will run a business if they give 90% chances of winning for their gamblers.

But I think that that of set up can still be called as gambling. Since even if you stated that they have great chance to win there are still 10% that can change their current situation and make them a loser. This is provably the dream situation of the gambler since for sure there are lots of people there are tired to have 50% chance or lower to win on the games of chance they playing.

I’m one of those very active on following Metawin and Skel X account since they frequently have a surprise giveaway like this that rewards generous.y for a very simple task like retweet or like on their social.

Although this simple task and big rewards attracts a lot of participants that active on bonus hunting on social, still I’m happy for Metawin to get so much exposure on their X account through being generous to their loyal followers.

Re: Bitcoin mining using an Android phone
by

on 24/07/2025, 13:51:04 UTC
I'm still have a little knowledge about Bitcoin. But I’ve been curious about Bitcoin mining, is it really possible to mine Bitcoin using an Android phone?
I have seen a several apps claiming to do this, but I am not sure how legit or profitable they are. I really appreciate any honest insights or advice from you guys. Thanks in advance.

No, it’s not really possible to mine Bitcoin effectively using an Android phone. Bitcoin mining is similar to gold mining  it requires a lot of resources, energy, and money.

To mine Bitcoin properly, you need very expensive machines (called ASIC miners) and a lot of infrastructure. It’s not something that can be done casually with a phone.  Most of those mobile apps don’t do real mining. Instead, many of them collect your personal data or try to lure in inexperienced users with false promises. Be careful  if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I'm confuse about what you have said here. But I guess you miswrite the word you are using and what you mean is its not possible to mine Bitcoin using android phones, I hope that's what you mean.

Also maybe they got the idea like this similar on Pi coin on which lots of their airdrop participant get their share thru phone mining that what they have said. But for Bitcoin its not really possible since miners need special rig and it cost a lot before they can effectively mine Bitcoins.  Its risky to do mining on phones and join those programs operated by unknown people. Since aside that their money is at huge risk from scams, their data is also in huge risk especially that they might give it to scammers which might use their identity for those crimes they do online.

So you didn't finish up registration first time, but it remembered your data when you tried from a normal browser?

That's what I assume, because I got a message saying that someone had already registered from that IP address. And of course it wasn't the IP address, because I had never registered before and Tor's IP address was completely different from mine.

When I tried Tor, it asked me to complete some captchas that I couldn't, and then with the other browser it didn't ask me.

Didn't experience this kind of issue but its really crazy that their system flagged that even if your first registration didn't push thru. It seems that they have sensitive system and automatically flagged their site visitors or users IP to avoid multi accounting issues.

I know this is common suggestion but I think its better to talk about this matter on their support. Try to raise this issue to their support so that they would also know your situation and to make sure that your account created is clean so that you won't encounter any possible issue link to multiple account usage.

I can't imagine Saylor's ambition to become the world's largest BTC holder. He's on track to reach 1 million BTC, and I'm sure he has many ways to secure new capital injections.
Let's clarify this because of the novice.

Michael Saylor is a person, and MicroStrategy is a company. Saylor owns roughly 17,732 BTC as of today, while MicroStrategy, the company he's the executive chairman of, has bought over 600,000 BTC. Meaning that it's MicroStrategy that has over 600,000 BTC to its name, and of course, it is owned by many investors.
Yes, you're right, but Microstrategy is his company. He's the CEO, and although he's stepped down as CEO, he's the one who takes the lead in decision-making. He even made the decision when he shifted the company to invest in Bitcoin. But I forgot to save that article.

Saylor's reputation changed people's perceptions. He captured the public's attention with his decision to buy a large amount of Bitcoin. Although it wasn't his, but belonged to investors, he managed it well with his strategy. He managed investor money with capital from the stock sales he'd made. This means he took good care of his company, and the profits they generated were substantial, convincing many investors to trust him and Microstrategy.

He does not own all of it and he's major stock holder that's why he has major strategic control towards decision making about on where their company heading.

Their major shift on Bitcoin is truly amazing since with this they gain a lot of profit compare on their old model.

Also maybe this article could help if you guys seeking some information about how MicroStrategy turn Bitcoin as corporate strategy https://tradersunion.com/interesting-articles/best-crypto-companies/microstrategy-review/bitcoin-strategy/

No doubt he’s still got it, he hasn’t really lost his skills. The main issue with him is his health. But now that he won’t be a starter and will probably just play limited minutes with his new team, he might not be as prone to injuries.

This could be CP3’s last shot.
If he still doesn’t win a championship here, I think he might finally call it a career.

Oh yea , it's def his final shot but he can't help his team as much as he did years ago but he can bring some knowledge and help some minutes during the games.

Like you said he still got it for sure but his health and age is not in his advantage anymore which could cause some problems for him but if he doesn't over push himself I think Clippers has a decent chance to make a great season.

I guess Clippers don't have any huge expectation that Paul would bring some strong performance for their team. They urge him to sign for back on their team maybe just to get a little help on backcourt.

Fans love this and we could see that people had positive approach towards this deal made by their management.

Its huge bonus for CP3 if he can able to get a championship together with Harden and Kawhi in their team. So let's just see if they can convert those expectations speculated by fans since as of the moment we can't deny that their team became more stronger not only because CP3 is been added again but also there are great players also added in their team.

Unfortunately, they ran into a problem with OpenSea. Staking was working fine, but they found OpenSea was still allowing listing of the NFTs which didn't happen before. [1]
That's an unfortunate situation. I couldn't find any update on opensea's X account to know if the issue has been fixed already. We'll have to wait for an update from skel.

Just about 30 minutes left in the 7 BNB competition. BNB hit an ATH about 8 hours ago and the price is still uk there, so whoever wins it will be heading away with a nice stash.

I don't see Opensea posting the issue, but I think they would give an update to Metawin management about those things they do. Let's hope for the best on this so that we could start staking our NFT's then earn some profit from this feature.

I'm sure that lots of people waiting for its full launch and this is really great way to make their NFT not only valuable but to increase more its demand.

Just about 30 minutes left in the 7 BNB competition. BNB hit an ATH about 8 hours ago and the price is still uk there, so whoever wins it will be heading away with a nice stash.

BNB gained lots of hype recently and its amazing to see that they reached their new ATH although many people didn't expect that to happen but guess it surprise many people for hitting that new milestone.

Provably with this many people would join on Metawin BNB competition so lets see what's going to happen here and good luck to all who joined.

Nice catch! I didn't look into it that deeply, but it makes complete sense now that the OP  is likely part of the campaign, if not the owner. I also checked Trustpilot and found only one review, which seems self-promotional rather than a genuine user review. So, i will also emphasise that anyone considering dealing with this should be aware they could be vulnerable to losing their funds.

I try to search more information about that site he is pointing out, but it seems that there's no credible information that can point out that this site is a good platform.

What usually I found online is warnings towards using this platform. Maybe for people they should stop thinking about trying these new platform and it seems OP is a paid shill then try to promote that site by posting something that can make people curious to check what site he's mentioning.

Much better for people to stick on their reliable option and stay away with this.

Don't be afraid that if the casino already has a high reputation, any amount of winnings you will be paid, but the consequence is that you must be ready to KYC if it is a big win.
But there are still some casinos with big wins that players win when withdrawing do not need any KYC.
Yes, that's what I felt before. Now I no longer feel that worry because the casinos I usually play at are very trustworthy and offer a wide selection, so if I ever win big, I'm no longer afraid of not getting paid.

Regarding KYC, if a casino has a very good reputation, I wouldn't hesitate to do it. I trust them to keep my personal data safe, even though there are no guarantees. But with a very good reputation, that's one of the things that makes me more confident.
[/quote]

You will not get worried to comply on the requirements asked especially if the casino is reputable and many people could vouch their legitimacy.

Also if they are delivering those huge rewards won by their gamblers. In the case of reputable casino we saw in Bitcointalk so far almost all of them are good gambling platform to use. Its good that we have some threads like this to discuss about any matters since we would know their status if they are truly providing good service to those people gamble in their platform. I only provide KYC if the casino is reputable in this platform and so far none of those casino fail me so far since they are still standing strong and manage to do good business here.

Re: What is the cost of your mistakes?
by
avp2306
on 23/07/2025, 11:04:10 UTC
I assume that people come to the gambling industry as inexperienced people. And in the process of their activities, they gradually learn from their mistakes. Unfortunately, some of these mistakes are dramatic and cause us quite serious psychological trauma. As a rule, this is due to gross errors and stupid persistent beliefs that push us to the edge of the financial abyss.

First of all, this is risk management and money management. The second is probably unsystematic play. Let me make a reservation that I do not mean casinos, as well as people playing "for fun". I mean sports betting.
So, how much did your mistakes cost? Did they cause you a serious psychological blow? What were your mistakes, did you learn from these mistakes and do you apply this knowledge in practice now? Were these mistakes simply painful, dramatic or catastrophic?

Early days is really tricky and to many temptations would test our selves dealing with what we see. Since there are lots of misleading information that we can easily win on gambling which we really believe that its really happening and we could get huge win with it. I lost lots of money by believing on those lies and experience addiction especially when I hit my very first big win before.

Winning especially when you are a noob is addicting and you will always find that situation. Then it turn to be a disastrous situation especially if little by little you didn't notice that you lose big and still chasing for those win you think that might happen again.

Glad that I surpass on that level and now I can say that I am in control on my activities then deal gambling on more realistic manner since now I gamble just to have fun.

Re: Has El Salvador been lying to the world?
by

Quote
El Salvador has not made any new Bitcoin purchases since February 2025, according to a new report released by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on July 15.

The disclosure directly contradicts President Nayib Bukele’s long-standing public claim that his government has been buying one Bitcoin per day.

The IMF’s findings were included in the first formal review of the country’s Bitcoin program since El Salvador secured a $1.4 billion loan agreement in December 2024.

[...] The report noted that although on-chain activity shows BTC moving between wallets, these are not new acquisitions. Instead, the transactions reflect internal transfers between cold and hot wallets.

The IMF emphasized that these movements had led to a “misinterpretation” of El Salvador’s Bitcoin activity. Officials further argue that reallocated reserves or assets obtained through legal seizures do not qualify as state-backed Bitcoin buys.

El Salvador probably wanted to keep their image as a bitcoin friendly country. Not only do they want to appear friendly to bitcoin, it seems like they want to be a country known for having a lot of bitcoin and possibly get investors in their country. I have seen some people doubt IMF's reports but what do you think? It makes sense if bitcoin has become El Salvador's political move.

So you believe on the manipulators rather than the country doing the best to uplift their country?

Its not surprising for IMF to run this kind of propaganda since they see that El Salvador is not in their control now. They want to destroy the reputation built by El Salvador that's why they throwing this kind of words.

I'd rather believe the country doing actions like making their people became more educated on Bitcoin than those loan sharks trying to manipulate also interfere other countries decision.

Basically it is a product that is going to pay dividends on a monthly basis, so I am sure it will slowly eat into the market for REITs, savings accounts and other products that usually pay crap interest compared to the 10% per annum it is going to pay initially although the dividend will be variable and what they will try to achieve is that the share price is always around $100.

I bet the aim il here is to gain as much capital from diverse audience in order to diversify the investors according to different risk preferences, while maintaining the capital flywheel in motion!

There intention is to raise funds thru their IPO to acquire more Bitcoin. I guess this is better program for those people following MicroStrategy and invest on offerings what they currently have.

There's further more information from here https://www.panabee.com/news/microstrategy-unveils-unique-9-yield-preferred-stock-to-boost-bitcoin-treasury

Let see if they could able to hit their $500 million target since somehow I could see that this news is gaining traction and provably lots of people are hyped with the latest news release by MicroStrategy.

But for me as an investor if they are going to put the funds they collected on Bitcoin, I my self would just directly buy Bitcoin to get better gains.

The gamblers just want to deposit and eager to gamble and they think that reading the TOS is a waste of time. Anyone tell them that if they read all the regulations, they can save them from lot of trouble that they may experience later.
When people hear the word "ToS," they often think of a long PDF file that would take a lot of time to read. In reality, we don't need to read the entire ToS; we just need to read a few important points, such as deposit terms, withdrawal terms, and the welcome bonus. The minimum deposit amount for each network and coin type varies. The minimum withdrawal requirements and fees apply. Finally, there are the rules regarding the welcome bonus. Personally, if you don't care about your money and withdrawals, you can use the welcome bonus. However, if you want to withdraw after winning several times, I don't think you should activate the welcome bonus.
Some people are aware of its importance but to lazy to read this because they think its a complete waste of time. But if they just read it when they have vacant time and interested to gamble in that casino for sure they would get good points to know what rules they are implemented and what you need to avoid so that you will not get an issue with their casino.

I'm not fan reading few or what you called important points since there are lot of things we provably gonna missed out. So reading the whole text would provably save us for long term. Although I understand that its boring to read all of it, but we just need to read it one time only and for sure its worth it for long term. Things things you have mentioned is written on their TOS so its really important for people to understand first what's going on so that they will not get confuse on those things.

Building a solid Bitcoin base first before even thinking about venturing into the casino of shitcoins is the most responsible thing a pleb or whale can do. If your Bitcoin position isn't strong enough, you are just gambling with your future.

$100k in BTC as a foundation is a fair benchmark,it shows commitment, conviction, and patience. Once that's secured, allocating a tiny slice 5–10% to explore riskier bets can be tolerated if you are emotionally and financially prepared to lose it entirely. But that base in Bitcoin? That’s what gives you long term resilience. Without it, you are just another tourist in crypto.
Let us be real, new folks in bitcoin or investors in low income countries, might see $100k too tough as a foundation to be in a strong position on their accumulation. If we start setting that amount as a bench market of being committed to bitcoin, we may end up discouraging a lot of folks who wants to start their investment journey. And yeah, I understand the $100k shows that one is serious and thinking long term buying. We can actually used that set our mindset in the right direction even if to us it may look difficult to achieve. I’m not saying we should lower the bar just to make people feel good, in the end what matters truly is our level of commitment and consistency not just what we plan that we didn't fulfil. An investor buying $30 weekly for five years consistently might end up investing longer than someone who aped in $100k the moment they start their investment.

Only if they didn't try to learn a little bit info about Bitcoin. But if they have zero knowledge on Bitcoin then its not surprising to see such impression like that.

If they are just resourceful to know more about Bitcoin since they are interested to invest with it for sure that they will not say that Bitcoin is expensive since they can purchase Bitcoin depends on how much they can afford to spend. Its so good if they start early since there's good chance that they get more inspired to do more deeper research about Bitcoin and for there would be lots of interesting things to learn especially if they go on valuable discussions also helpful articles which they could find online.

What people need to have on this investment is consistency since they most likely succeed if they have that attitude.

The small Japanese star just got signed by the Bulls.

Breaking: Chicago Bulls Sign Fan Favorite Yuki Kawamura
Quote
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Bulls and Kawamura have agreed to a two-way contract for next season. Kawamura posted averages of 9.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 2.2 steals across five Summer League games coming off the bench. While Kawamura could've signed anywhere, he's staying put in Chicago.

His numbers probably came from garbage time since he barely gets used, maybe because of his size. But this little guy’s got talent for sure.
He got some attention during the Olympics when his team pulled off a few upsets. Hopefully with the Bulls, he’ll be used more effectively.

Good luck to him.

This is really great addition for Bulls if they could just maximize his talent. We see him doing good in Memphis before and he really provide decent stats despite of limited minutes. For sure that he can help Bulls if the management would just give him a chance to get more minutes.

The Japanese star is so talented and its proven that he can make his big teammate to became more better especially that he have great court vision.

Bulls would be came more interesting especially that they add Yuki Kawamura on their roster.

A: 2x
It will be interesting to see how it's managed long term to protect liquidity and maintain value if it ever becomes tradeable.

I think they already give an idea the way how they handle their Metawin NFT on which there are many events that could people decide either to hold their NFT or even buy more.

So provably this one same goes with their token and provably they have lot of things to offer especially they are known to be a generous platform and create many ways to create huge visibility for their token. So will see what's coming more around especially if they successfully launch $Casino.

We have another great news for the Bitcointalk community. Guess what that might be?
That's a teaser. Maybe we could be getting exclusive multiplier contests or some airdrops

Provably more exciting than that. Looking at the giveaways they have done on X provably they can also offer bigger rewards to people in Bitcointalk.

Re: Is KuCoin a scam? Destructive reviews on trustpilot

I considered using KuCoin (based in Singapore) because a friend told me that they have a KuCoin card and they do not share information with foreign governments.
I have done nothing illegally, but I do value my privacy.

So I read into KuCoin and found reviews on trustpilot.
It gives them a score of 1.5 out of 5 and there is a huge list of traders who lost their funds.

What are your experiences with this place?
I am looking for smart ways to cash out in Q4 of this year, but it seems very difficult.

Much better if you don't fully trust the reviews given on Trust pilot but just make this a guide to be more careful dealing on the platforms you are inquiring.

For longest time I'm using kucoin but never encounter any problem with them. Maybe those people just expect to win on their trades and suddenly lose due to some bad market movement also poor decision making then create bad reviews as part of revenge.

This situation is happening that's why I don't pay much attention on that thing unless if the feedback came from the community of Bitcointalk since we could read lots of real time reviews coming from legitimate people in this platform.
