Regarding the German/Polish account. I deposited Euros to the Polish account 09.04.2013 in the evening, not realizing that the account number changed. Since my bank refused to cancel the payment, I filed a support ticket at btc-24 with following response:

Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker
Nice one! So the hope isn't lost and with the flood of new MtGox accounts we see 300 USD before the end of the month?
If the price touches $300 on MtGox before the end of the month, I'll give you one whole shiny bitcoin. This time I'm certain I won't be giving any bitcoins away. This move was decisive, the number of bitcoins to be sold is piling up as people hope to get out, and a substantial amount of money has probably left for good. There's really only one way from here, and it's down.
Everyone, finally a signal that the dip is over, proudhon has spoken.

Re: Average rise per day/week based on different values for the year 2020
First time I see the bid/ask ratio under the price. Currently about 72 USD/BTC ratio.
Where are you looking? I'm seeing ~10 million $ vs 50k BTC on Gox, which translates to 200 USD/BTC
I am using goxtools, shows the following: total bid: 4,410,103 USD | total ask: 57,681 BTC | ratio: 76.46 USD/BTC |

Price can never "break" difficulty, they are measured in different units. What is the conversion parameter that you use to convert between the two? Or maybe I am missing something here?
No srsly, I don't think I am the only EU money manager that will need to do this day after day in increasing volumes, I am just the loudest I can feel the pain of the others as they cannot scrape enough to buy from anywhere (except Mt.Gox USD with 1 week transfer delay LOL)
How about trading in EU and not moving the money to Japan in the first place? bitcoin.de bitcoin-24.com and other exchanges are more then willing to sell you bitcoins and we would appreciate the increased liquidity as well.

I think bitcoin-qt can be used as portable client, you just need to run it with -datadir command line switch (make a .bat file or something) and it will work. It will be portable with the whole blockchain (about 8GB I think now), though.

Just standard market forces (a.k.a. fear and greed) in the works, nothing special.
