I would like to hear about the situation with bitcoin and taxes in your countries.
I think it would be interesting to hear different experiences and compare results across countries.
Of course, I understand that in some countries you can't declare bitcoin tax.
I'm not interested in these countries but the ones where it is possible to declare and pay bitcoin tax.
I will start first.
In Croatia, several years ago we received clear instructions from the tax office on how to file a bitcoin tax.
In short, we must lead FIFO and if we can prove that we held btc funds more than 2 years, than we don't need to pay tax (long term investment).
If we have kept btc funds for less than 2 years, we pay 12 % tax plus surtax.

I am from India and here cryptocurrency is totally ban. In any way of usage is punishable and even they have declare the punishment but still it is not got amended in the parliament. So their is not tax or any usage of bitcoins in our country. As per government law what we are doing right now is illegal and if caught we all will be punished.
In every thing their is negative and positive side, it is upto us to take which one is good. Same like when bitcoin will become legal world wide, then their will be lot of opportunity to each country, like lot of business will get developed through bitcoin and blockchain. More security will be their for every transaction but at the same time scammers will also become more and we have to be more alert in regards to it.
People are more pose to trading bitcoin than altcoins because of many bad experience about altcoins. Recently many traders got a bitter pill of altcoins after they failed to perform like we saw the bitcoin did, so many are careful to stay close to bitcoin in other not to miss out of gain.
I think altcoins are still profitable, so far we can see the price of altcoins continue to follow the movements of bitcoin which when altcoins fall then it is the right time to buy and when bitcoin prices rise then the price of altcoins will also increase as it has recently, if this is done well I'm sure we can still make a profit from altcoins.what you are telling is good for only short term trading but if you want to keep altcoin for long term then surely you will be in loss. altcoins are controlled by the developers and are depended on the projects development and its success. but bitcoin dont depend on any projects or anything it is just like currency which is used by other altcoins

India in a trouble now. Already lost half of their wickets and need 148 runs in next 20 overs. i.e. a run rate of 7.4. This certainly is a bowling pitch and New Zealand's score is a good one.

India is no longer looking in that much trouble, as Ravindra Jadeja is playing a very aggressive inning and trying to get the game back in India's control. Awesome effort by this all-rounder, let's see if he's able to finish it up for India.
India lost the match by 18 runs, it is too disappointing that they are not able to chase it. New Zealand bowlers done a very good job, now they will be playing the final and hope they win it.

If one would travel in a developing country like India , one would only be able to maybe buy a coffee using it , same is the condition with ukraine.

You are wrong about India as their is no shop or place where you can do cryptocurrency transaction apart from converting to fiat currency. Even now India have banned the cryptocurrency usage so it is not possible to use cryptocurrency in Asian country's. I think she has mostly travelled in America and Europe country where only it is possible to do anything through crypto currency.
In most of the Exchange Hacking, their is always some insider who helps the hacker to hack the exchange because without their help hackers wont be able to hack big exchanges. If you see previous exchange hacked records then you will find lot of exchange got hacked due to this reason only. In this cases it is very hard to catch the hacker as they are more smart and well prepared with outcome of problems after hacking.
Today, I received a message from the support, that they apologize for the delay and if the sum is correct... I wrote them, that they should check it once again, if the crypto belongs me and I am free to use it.

Summarize, they have to check it atleast 3 times. It takes 11 days from the day what I sent to receive it.. I am completely out of energy to handle with the support that is completely incompetent.

So now it is clear that they have knowingly gave you this amount of cryptocurrency and you are free to use it, so now i think this topic is closed.

Both are different from each other if we talk about gold then it is good for the majority of investors because the gold is more stable than bitcoin and most of the investors want a secure investment, while on the other hand, some crypto lovers want high profit in a shorter period of time so they choose bitcoin as an investment.
In my opinion comparison of BTC with gold is of no use! Let investors decide where they want / will invest their money.
I agree. Gold and bitcoin can both use for investment but in different time duration. Bitcoin can be for short time as long as the price increase to gain profit while gold stay stable for a long time but the price does not go down as it is become more limited in the market and use on making accessories for business. I dont agree that gold price dont go down, even their are also big whales who play with gold and price fluctuates. But bitcoin price fluctuates more high. In your view investing in bitcoin for short time is based on market condition if you have invested in 2018 then short time would have given loss, but if you have holded for long then in low if you have averaged the price then now you are in profit.
Everything depends on how much risk you can take and how much time you can hold your position, will always define your profit.

No. It's not. Bitcoin is ahead of every single cryptocurrency out there today in terms of almost everything, besides speed. While they're all in the category of cryptocurrencies or "e-currencies", bitcoin is in a different league.
Speed is taken care of as well. Lightning payments are instant. In fact, it's so fast, that the transaction in most cases confirms before the UI a second later displays that the transaction is confirmed. If that isn't a speedy payment then I don't know what is.
OP has no clue about what differentiates Bitcoin from the rest, which does surprise me considering his registration date (December 2013) on this forum. Wouldn't surprise me if he keeps buying and selling at the wrong time therefore considers it to be a pile of shit without fundamentals.
It dont mean that if any user have joined this forum from starting would be knowing much about the technical facts about crypto currency and bitcoin. out of 10 users only 1 or 2 users are knowing about the technical details about cryptocurrency balance all have joined just to make money. And i think OP is also one of them.
It is true that BTC is totally different from all other altcoins as it is not controlled by any single developer and it dont need any project support to flourish, but instead it is running individually as a currency and it is the main source of valuation for all other coins and projects.

In coming 100 years we will surely see one more financial crisis and that will be the time when cryptocurrency will boom and it can also become main steam of currency. So the price can be unimaginable. This can happen in next 10 or 20 years also as we dont have to wait fr 100 years.
It is always good to research own analysis and then do trading, you can read the analysis of other users but dont trade on that blindly. Just take some time and read the market and then read the other analysis of users and come to a point where you can do your own calculation and then do trading on it. So if anything goes wrong you wont feel sad that you traded on other person or group reports.
I dont think that the site is ready to accept bet as deposit is not working then how do OP expect that users will bet when they cannot deposit. Apart from that lot of menu are not working. Site is still only 20% completed with basic features. Until the site is fully completed with all features and security no one will deposit and risk their investment on this site.

that is not "airdrop" that is a "payment" for a job that they do. the job is small and meaningless (an advertisement of sorts) but it still is a job and they are getting paid for doing it so you can't call it an "airdrop".
a real airdrop is when the Byteball team gave away coins to anybody who owned bitcoin at a certain block height and downloaded their wallet. another example is bitcoin-cash which gave away free coins to anybody who had bitcoin.
neither one of airdrops or these payments have ever been good for beginners. they both add complications and require the beginner to download another wallet and most of the times the altcoin wallets are pretty bad and in some cases some of them even contained malware.
If i am not wrong Airdrop were given in 2016-17 , where you just have to fill the form and give the wallet address of the said coin and you get free coins according to your rank or certain limit. But after 2018 even in Airdrop they started to give small tasks to fill so they get paid and that too the reward profit is too less as lot of users join Airdrop and distribution gets low so Today earning in Airdrop is just like earning in faucet.
What OP is telling about is social media bounty where you have to follow the project and like and share their post. and you get reward for that and that too is very low in today market as in this bounty also lot of users join and the reward split gets low

Even i can say that some ICO which are running good but for their coins price they are not bothered and they are down more then 90%, so i think investing in ICO is totally waste and it is better to invest when they hit the market and just take profit and dont go for long term. Better to trade and take profit.
If he is the satoshi nakamoto then why did he hide himself and even he promoted the crypto currency and blockchain and did not came forward claiming himself the developer behind it. But now when this project got famous and billions of amount is their behind the real name he wanted to take the credit but he dont have any full proof sources to claim it. Even he dont have the keys to open the wallets which were used in the starting of the mining. This is nothing but the useless stunt to be in limelight.
For normal trading you can do bitcoin trading but you can do altcoin trading but in that you should do full research and then enter, margin trading is high risk but at the same time it will also give high profit also. So everything is upto you to decide which way you want to go.
Nothing is impossible as in 2016 the bitcoin price was taking tough time to cross $1000 price and that time when someone predicted that in 2017 bitcoin price will cross $10000 and everyone was making joke but when the price started to move above $10000 every one were feeling sad.
