Payout is calculated as ratio of player's hits to dealer's hits. There is only 1% house edge. This low house edge is recognizable on draw only. Even on one hit win, you are winning coins...
EDIT: In this thread, you can read a little bit about payout function "evolution". Because this game is not offered anywhere else (like e.g. Blackjack), we had to design game rules from scratch. Unfortunately for us, we undervalued weaknesses that led to temporary game suspend. Some players were able to beat the dealer in constant manner.

Sorry, current version of Battleship does not support PVP mode.
Tried almost all the games, they're quite fun. Especially the battle ships, love the sound effects.
Made a small little profit and withdrew but it went to pending, so I guess they're not instant.

we just relaunched updated Battleship game. Sorry for this quite long delay, we excepted the update does not take so much time.
We found out that the Battleship is not a game of chance only. There are some tricks which you can help to get an advantage in the long run. Firstly, we though that an advantage is so small that we can simply ignore that. But as you showed us, we were wrong and someone of you beat the house
Look & feel stays same, this update was focused on dealer bot. The bot computes probabilities of ship occurrence for each square. Then provably fair shuffle is used to select one of the top squares.
As mentioned above, there are several tricks how to manage the game. In my personal opinion, these tricks do the Battleship game much more interesting than e.g. minesweeper, because skill influence results, not a chance only.

So pretty much you could win before but you made it impossible to win against the house now, thanks for the info
Don't worry. It's still a game of chance. You can win or lose. But you can be more successful (similar to Blackjack card counting). Try it and you will see that dealer bot is not an "unbeatable machine". The old bot was just too weak.

New Version Released
Hey guys, we just deployed new version. This is not a major update, no new features, only two issues were resolved:
Unfortunately, we may not include the Battleship game into this redeploy as we promised. Although we resolved the main problem that pushed us to suspend the game, we found another problem in Provably Fair AI that needs further work. The Battleship will be included in next release.

- Solitaire & Backgammon: added support for touch devices (@kpitti: thanks for the report).
- Sportbook: fixed rendering of AH/EH away side handicap value with opposite sign.
Unfortunately, we may not include the Battleship game into this redeploy as we promised. Although we resolved the main problem that pushed us to suspend the game, we found another problem in Provably Fair AI that needs further work. The Battleship will be included in next release.

The betting slip says Ole Miss +4. How can you say that it's -4. This is crazy. If you don't want to pay what the bet slip says, then I'll just withdraw my money.

do a copy/paste. For some reason the "+" shows up huge on Ole Miss and UAB. It's a tiny "+" on the bet slip but normal on copy/paste
Font used on web site is different, therefore "+" character can be slightly different.

So far it seems that there is problem in "printing" bet slips. During weekend we will fix it along with the Battleship game.

I just made a bet on UAB +14. The "+" looks the same as Ole Miss. Check the betslip.
I looking at the bet slips inside outside and I figured out the reason of our misunderstanding. Rendering of bet slip HTML page is confusing. When you place bet on AH/EH away team, the handicap sign is inverted.
In fact, you just made a bet on UAB -14. Because you bet on away team, it's rendered as -1 * -14 = 14. It seems that this need a fix.
EDIT: You can see the confusing print, when you add a home side AH and then you change it by clicking on the away side of the same AH line. AH line sign is rendered with opposite sign.
Definitely, there is a huge difference between -14 and +14.
However, there is an issue at the web. Bet slip handicaps on the away side are shown with opposite sign. Try to selected the same handicap of any match - firstly home side and then away side. Bet slip shows opposite sign of handicap (although the right value is finally used).
