It follows all the rules, but I couldn't use it, because it doesn't work across most platforms. I'd be fine if it would be 80-85%+ I guess, but it it's not even close. The admin did a great job when he enforced the new rules. Lower Member classes are pretty restricive now. No big signatures for them.

Re: Need a skilled designer? You just found two [Latest update: Feb. 24].
The "Think Future Think Bitcoin" poster, please change the position of the pins. Point to actual cities. Sometimes promotion material not only need to look good, but also make sense.
Thanks for the input. I believe that promotional material should always make sense. Of course they all point to actual cities/places that accept bitcoin. The goal was to show that bitcoin is popping up everywhere.
I guess what you maybe meant with "actual cities" was capitals/major cities. Bitcoin is everywhere - not only in New York City, London & Moscow. But if there's really is an obvious mistake in there, please let us know. Source for the markers was: http://coinmap.org/
Logo represents the activity of buying & selling, as well as security provided by cryptography. The overall shape of the logo - a circle with a rim, is inspired by the shape of a coin.
Other colour options are possible and as seen in the example above, the logo works also well in black and white. The size of the logo is very flexible and remains it's legibility when scaled down.
Logo will be sold to one buyer only - full rights guarantee.
too many people tried to make it work when it's not feasible.
I partly disagree to what others said. Of course it can work out the way you drew it if someone manages to balance the lines and the size of the crosshair. If the text is not too far appart, the font has the right size and more importantly: A good font was chosen. It can look good.
If you need it to be 4:1 or even 5:1 - it's true. It is not feasible. The question is just: What do you need the logo for? If your goal is to have it as small as possible or fit in any layout - then it would of course be best if it would be only one line. Like many people did. If that's not required it doesn't matter.
