They are growing quite rapidly, 2500 members joined the telegram today so they can probably do a good ICO, they are almost at 12K members.

I think the $150 giveaway / member is pulling lots of members to the table.

I have followed the Bytemine project for a while.

Just saw that Phillip Nunn was on the advisory board which makes me think this will be bigger than I expected.

I also checked up on Roger Tamraz, seems like he is worth $2 Billion and his businesses do $30 Billion / year in revenue, that are some insane numbers.

They are publicly listed on Frankfurt stock exchange, one of the biggest exchanges in the world. I think this might be one of the more exciting ICO:s this year because a publicly listed company need to really follow up on their promises, they can't just file for bankruptcy and that's that. Everything they say and do will have consequences, they have to really keep their promises.

Having the type of muscles they have this could become a true powerhouse, they have secured €50 Million already to grow the business. See this press release.
http://stockholmit.co/stockholm-ventures-secures-50-million-euro-financing/

Let's see where they will list their token/coin, I hope they can secure the likes of Binance.

Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time
by

As for the chart provided, I can't see anything related to the Bitcoin value with time. Value can be defined as the relation of the demand and supply. Here we can see only supply. We can conclude that the value is zero if there is no demand.

I would agree to this, it's a good indicator but like Magiklair is saying the value wouldn't be zero if there was no demand.

Re: Are Bitcoin miners still good to go?

Because it costs so much electricity, several countries have imposed restriction on mining activity?

Even if your country has banned mining, you can carry put this in another country. Choose a country where mining is economical because of cheap electricity.

Re: Transaction fees are a tax on BTC
by

Taxes, like death, are inevitable.  When they go up, people complain.  Txn fees are a form of tax on BTC that goes to the miners.  No-one wants to pay them but they have to.

I think there should be some alternative for this transaction fees especially for smaller transactions. If somehow these transaction charges are eleimnated for small transactions, it will boost the bitcoin prices. However, it will take a lot of fixes to be done.

Snowden Leak Suggests NSA Is Extensively Tracking Bitcoin Users :The U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) has been reportedly monitoring the bitcoin blockchain with an eye on identifying users on the distributed network.

Link for details news:https://www.coindesk.com/nsa-reportedly-eyes-to-scrap-bitcoins-anonymity/

It is good, if there is any suspicious thing going on with bitcoins and it is caught, it is ultimately going to benefit only. Let us see what conclusion the agency comes to.

It hasa lot of use cases.
I can exchange it to any other crypto.

Why do you love Bitcoin?
Why are you interested?

Most people love bitcoins because it has given huge returns on investment. Some people made more than 1000x by investing in bitcoins which is certainly a lot.

So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

Are you asking which alt coins you should buy by exchanging BTC ? I would suggest you to go for monero and ethereum.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

There had been hacking incidents in the past but they are very rare. These days exchanges are using serious security measures to avoid hacking incidents.

I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

I like a number of things about bitcoins:

1) No bank or government fees is involved.

2) It is so easy to carry large amount of money. Safety is also cheap.

Re: JUST TRANSFERED 20K USD AND BANK CHARGED ME $700 !!!!
by
belousov
on 03/04/2018, 19:08:12 UTC
This is why we need bitcoin. I am soo sick of these central bank mafia scum controlling our finances.!!!

I just did a international wire transfer and the banks cuased me to loose $700 because of how the make a huge 3% margin with the conversion of the money from one country currency to anothe[Suspicious link removed]agine those bankers sitting there in their Jacuzzis relaxing while their computers move money getting $700 or much more from all the people who send money.
D@mn mafia!!
What would you do with $700 for free??

These banks are building the own destruction by robbing people like that.It is very arrogant they should be in jail for theft and fraud.
This is why we need bitcoin!! If I used the ightning network I could have done the transaction for some pennies!

Bank transaction charges and fees are really very painful. I see that they are charging poor uneducated people in my country and making money out of their ignorance. We certainly need this changed.

Re: The way of BITCOIN! 2018
by
belousov
on 26/03/2018, 09:52:42 UTC
Bitcoin is now raising so many questions about its future. All most everyone related to this crypto is asking only one question! What will be the future status of bitcoin in 2018? Well, first of all, there is no direct answers to that question. But many experts are seeing the upcoming future in many different ways.  Wink

BTC First of all, one prediction is taking the number one place. And that thing comes from the investors. That is really a bit of shocker and it is: Bitcoin investors are expecting that this king crypto can reach up to near 50K in this lucky year numbered 2018!  Roll Eyes  which will be the doubles of the highest rise in the history(2017) !!   Huh

BTC Here is the number two magical statement, which has come from the magical mouth of a group of the financial analyst (AMSYS group) and they are predicting that Bitcoin will break the resistant level of 30K USD in this running year!! They also mentioned that they have been checking this stats for more than 12 months and what they had discovered is really shocking. "There is a significant level of demand and supply imbalance in the current price level". They predict that this imbalance can cause something devastating. From there another analysis, they had mentioned that a lot more money is going to come into this year, which will be the record-breaking amount.   Lips sealed

Here is the latest bomb, which has been launched from another bitcoin expert Bobby Lee, the man behind one of the largest Bitcoin exchanges in the world,
says that "Bitcoin? 1 Million Baby"   Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

Well, that was a lot of saying about the unseen future. But sometimes, predictions are likely to be matched. So whats your thoughts on bitcoin guys? Come on throw some of your thought.  Smiley

Seeing the progress this year, I doubt that it will reach $50000 this year. However, if you are investing for long term , expect $100000 in 2-3 years.

Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ?

Hi guys , I  read in social media that many people are panicking its because bitcoin dropped every hour and they think they might lose their money because of that .Well for me , there's no need to panic because when bitcoin dropped as its lowest price its a blessing . And also joining in CRYPTO CURRENCY WORLD, you already know what risk you  should face , and  its a win and win bet when you hold bitcoin . So knowing that  some people selling their bitcoin I feel so sorry for them.

I agree with your opinion. People who became millionaires with bitcoins had the patience to wait for 5 -6 years after investing.

I joined this market a few months, I also lost a little money. Now I want to have a bigger plan by selling my house to 100% participation in this market. What do you think?
You think I will have another house or I will become homeless  Grin Cheesy Grin

Yes, go for it and then live on streets when the prices drop further. We already had enough discussion on a similar question.

Yes, it is a good investment but only if you have patience to wait for months. Otherwise go for alt coins like TRON.
