Re: If bitcoin does not survive...
by

I think it is hard to imagine the crypto world without bitcoin and despite what people said that bitcoin may not survive, I think it is here to stay. But IF bitcoin continues to fall and it does not survive, which of the alternative cryptocurrencies do you think can take its place? Ripple? Ethereum? EOS? Will it be bigger than bitcoin?
I think the bitcoin will survive and will work successfully for many years. It seems to me that the predictions that bitcoin die will give passivists who do not believe in the crypto. So, bitcoin has really dropped very low now, but in the future it can grow high.

Re: ICO collects $1.5million in 50 hours?

I've been looking into ICOs recently and I noticed that ORCA raised 1.5 million dollars in 50 hours during the ICO's first round. Is this typical in the current market state? What does it say about the project?
It seems to me that this is a pretty good indicator of what the situation is now on the crypto market. Now many projects are not able to raise 1.5 million dollars a month, but here they gathered for 50 hours. It seems to me that this is a good indicator.

So, many people really think if you invest in any ICOS then it will bring them good profits in the future. Newbies do not analyze the project and do not read white paper, but simply invest in fraudulent projects.

Re: What is your strategy for hodling or selling?

Now the crypto market is in such a situation that it is difficult to predict which coin will succeed. I think most people are now using the HODL strategy. You need to get patience, wait a bit and crypt again the market will go up.

Re: Have you ever wondered why ICOs fail?
by

We have wondered, and although there could be many reasons that could cause a project to fail; perhaps one of the biggest ones is their lack of investment in a proper PR campaign...

This is why PR is so important for startups and ICOs in general: https://cryptocoin.news/icos/3-ways-pr-is-critical-for-an-ico-18557/
It seems to me that the main reason for the failure of the ICO is that they simply copy other projects, rather than create something innovative. Advertising and PR is also a very important factor for a successful ICO.

Pretty interesting and informative article. I think these rules are respected by every experienced investor. Before investing your money you need to carefully check the project and then make a decision.

Re: Do you care about product?

There are a lot of ICO with promising products. In fact, many projects launch ICO because they want to reach the next level and make a company more successful.

Do you use or plan using these products?
If this product is really innovative and easy to use then I will definitely use this product. For example, if a company makes a good crypto wallet of the type ERC20 as MEW but is protected from hackers and is safe.

Re: I like to collect the token

Do you have a preference for collecting tokens instead of selling them?
Currently in my wallet there are more than 200 tokens with different values and I do not sell them every time it is listed. I keep them and watch them every day. I was fascinated by the fact that there were many tokens in my wallet and not paying attention to their price.
Do you think this is a crazy hobby?
This is a pretty interesting hobby. Someone collects coins, and someone collects crypto coins and still earns money for it. I'm sure that many of your coins are shitcoins.

Re: 400 BTC to get a listing on binance's new dex ?

Think I'd rather just go on Komodo or blocknet for free.

Oh, this is really a very large sum, I think a few projects will want to pay so much money. It's interesting how they calculated the amount of 400 btc. It seems to me that only very large and popular projects will be able to pay such money.

have you seen the project from CryptAssist? this project is very good. You can also see projects from SKYFChain. I think this is also a very good project.
I like your opinion. CryptAssist is really a very large-scale and promising project. It seems to me that this is the best project of August. It seems to me that it is exactly this project that needs to be invested now.

Now the crypto market is in bad shape. It is very difficult to choose a coin that has a chance to grow in the future.
I think you need to buy the following coins:
- Bitcoin Cash
- Monero
- NEO
- Binance Coin
- Nucleus Vision
- ODEM

I do not know why some people are accusing bounty hunters. I think the hunters make the project successful and only help with a small reward. Usually hunters get coins after they get investors and the project goes to the stock exchange.

MEW wallet can still work perfectly but the problem with it is that it's not really secured because hackers do hack their website and get away with people's token.
Yes, you're right MEW wallet is still quite normal. People are really afraid to keep their coins there, because the system is not protected and needs to be improved.

Re: If the society rejected to use crypto currencies?
by
berezov_petro
on 09/08/2018, 19:12:38 UTC
This thing came up to my mind suddenly. As I know a currency is a transaction medium that majority of the people agree to use to exchange their items with them. If it is the case, if majority refused to use crypto currencies, what will be the consequences may occur ? And how it will affect to the ICOs ? Any Ideas?
I think if society rejects the crypto currency then it will have a very bad effect on the crypto market and on the ICO. It seems to me that society has not yet understood how useful it can be to crypt the currencies.

Crypto market is been red for last 3 months. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?

So, the crypto market is really red and has long been. I think all those who panic and make hasty decisions that he will surely break through. I think that ETH has not died yet and will live and develop in the future.

Re: What to do with tokens - hold or sell?
by
berezov_petro
on 02/08/2018, 18:28:19 UTC
Lots of dump their tokens on the market as soon as they’re listed on an exchange. There are always a risk in holding, since you never know how the secondary market is going to treat a token. But equally, strong projects with good fundamentals have the potential to appreciate hugely in price.
How better do you think?
Some coins need to be sold immediately, because they can only fall in price. But we can not know which coins will grow, but which will fall. Sometimes a coin needs to be kept for several months to earn a profit of x2 or more

Re: when cryptocurrencies can be used to buy basic needs?
by

A lot of projects are going on blockchain and new cryptocurrencies are being launched day by day but when can we actually see  them floating in real market for real use cases like buying a cigarette or bread? is it possible?
It seems to me that we will be able to pay ciphto currency in stores after some time. It's not long to wait. Many cryptocurrencies are not intended for such purposes, but I think smart people will come up with something!

Re: $1000 to spend on coins. 5 years exile on a desert island. what do you buy?
by
berezov_petro
on 02/08/2018, 18:21:35 UTC
you have a grand to spend and then you're off to a desert island with no contact from the outside world for five years.

which coins will still be alive by then and which will be thriving? as i'm on the conservative end of things i'd only go for bitcoin myself. in half a decade an insane amount will have changed.

what about you?
I think I would have chosen bitcoin. I think he will live for many years. I can not say that he will be the leader of the crypto market, but he will surely live. I like a lot of altcoins, but I can not say what will happen to them after 5 years. Everything can radically change.

Re: Do you use diversification?
by
berezov_petro
on 02/08/2018, 18:16:28 UTC
For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?
It all depends on how strong your coin is. I think selling a strong coin and buying cheap prospective coins is a rather interesting and correct strategy. This tactic can bring good profit in the future, provided that you choose good coins.
