Re: Is it a bug? Trust shows only "???"

The negative trust has been removed. Maybe you visited the profile just after the trust was removed and the members page hadn't been updated yet.

It's been like this for days. Just followed one thread and I saw it like a week ago, today just happens to check it again an it's still Huh, weird

It's showing up fine for me. Do you have any browser addons which might be changing the value?

I see it is quite a negative trust but why is showing "Huh" then?

Is it some kind of bug? Haven't seen this before, here is the profile link:

It's well known that positive reinforcement is more effective than negative reinforcement. Theymos quoted that he thinks merits should work without the need for demerits and I think this will be the case.

Nobody likes to be punished but everybody likes to be rewarded.

I like to type out a random set of numbers and letters and save them to a notepad. It's the best defense against brute force attacks. The bitcointalk hack that happened in 2015 wouldn't have been a problem for anyone if their passwords were good because all the passwords needed to be bruteforced.

Is that okay to save your password on a notepad? If talking about hassle to input really long passwords with signs, numbers and letters with Caps it was tiring but keeping it away from your notepad makes it safer. i just really get this idea since this was a rule of thumb given by professionals in the industry.

Well it isn't conventional to keep passwords in a notepad but it works for me. It would be more secure to encrypt the notepad file, but then I would need to remember another password...

Re: Above Legendary Rank
by
bitcoinl0ver1337

I would like to see new high rank added. Now there are so many Legendary members on Bitcointalk that this rank aren't exclusive anymore. And there are some users who are contributing here for long and maybe they deserved to reach special rank.
But no, not Satoshi. First of all, because only one person can be called Satoshi. Secondly, because this name aren't related to current ranks in any way. Maybe we could call them "Extraordinary" or sth similar?

On most of the websites that offer points or ranks for posts, there is requirement like getting certain number of posts per year maintain rank. This is better solution than just adding one rank above legendary in my opinion.

I support this. Just because someone has a high rank it doesn't mean they should keep it if they are no longer active. Bitcoin and the crypto world is constantly changing and high ranks need to keep up with those changes.

Sec. log shows that mr.zeen had his password changed February 16.

How are you seeing the logs of this user? I've heard people talk about logs before so I'm curious.

@zeen66 it's strange that the hacker hasn't changed the bitcoin address of your account.

edit: I found the logs

Re: It is easier to find useful information now

Thanks to the new merit system, i can now strain the kind of information i want to read as a new member of this community. It looks like people are "scared" to post now so it is quite easy to find good posts around and read them. I noticed that my eyes are caught by posts with merits more than those without merits( i don't underestimate posts without merits though. some of them are helpful to me). I hope i am able to learn quickly and earn merits too. I have all the time in the world to be patient.
Can you navigate the forum easily as well as compared to a couple of weeks/months back?

This is lesson 101 of how to turn a 3 word comment into a full blow essay  Roll Eyes

Also I like bitcoin because it is a very nice coin and it isnt like all of the other coins like Ethereum and Litecoin and Zcash and Ripple and it sounds nice and its just a pretty cool coin. Ya feel?  Wink

Are you dumb? I gave you a response. In case you didn't read it I'll quote it again for you...

So why don't you take your teenage angst elsewhere and tell off all the people with signature under their names. You sound like you're just trying to promote that site in your banner with poor quality posts.

Also Steem is a coin, run using the steemit platform. Go back to the off-topic section please.

You shouldn't know about 2015 attack, are you going to farm merits and sell your account in a few months?
OP, you should jump some girls before you die, merit me for my suggestion.

It was pretty big news bro. And farming merits is the last thing I'd want to do. If I want to make money I'll log into my Steemit account and post from there.

Re: Making enough crypto for trading without buying them
by
bitcoinl0ver1337
on 17/02/2018, 07:17:56 UTC
Hi guys,
The more i do faucets the more i realize that it's almost impossible to collect enough coins of any kind to trasfer them on an exchange (paying the fee for low tranfrer) and still having enough of them to reach the minimum transaction threshold to start trading...
I tried to get referrals too, to improve the earnings, but still have 0, it's harder than i thought... xD

Can you suggest a way to collect some cryptos (25$-30$ equivalent?) in a reasonable amount of time, without buying them? (for reasons of anominity, so also no stuff selling etc...)
Thanks.

I think the best answer to your question is doing some campaigns. But participating in some requires a minimum of jr member rank(not all but most). Campaigns include, twitter, facebook, signatures, etc.

Airdrops take time, but be careful, airdrops on this forum is prohibited. Also, alot of these airdrops are scam so be thankful if you've received some. But if not, it's okay it's not like you're doing hard work for it.

What do you mean airdrops on this forum are prohibited?  What part of an airdrop is illegal on the forum or are you talking about spamming? Sig campaigns are allowed.

The obvious problem here is that you arnt adding enough clickbait you your posts. Also Your post is missing a dead guy in a suicide Forrest. Haven't you learned anything from Logan Paul.

Post views aren't affected by ranks either.

Re: [WTS] 50000 Unique Real Human Visits To Your Site For 20$ Only [20 Sec. Minimum]
by
bitcoinl0ver1337
on 17/02/2018, 06:57:26 UTC
If these are real people who visit a site, how are you able to generate a precise number of those people who visit? If you were just advertising said site, you wouldn't be able to pick an exact number of people who choose to visit. I'm genuinely interested because I've previously wondered about how services like yours work.

That's a good question, We send traffic via multiple sources, like forums, blogs, downloads websites, ... etc to customized links on our website, each link is like a rotator including multiple urls receiving about 40k visits daily, So we set the limit on each url according to the buyer requests, also old buyers get better higher priority

That's ofc plus the standard paid to click visits from our site by default

Each url is viewed for 20 seconds minimum

Hope that explains everything for you and any interested clients

Regards
ayman

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

This site was the very first bitcoin I 'earned'. Although I never reached the cash out limit it was still fun to pretend like I was making money haha. freebitco.in has been running for ages man glad to see it's still up and functional. If you don't mind me asking, how much does this site generate from advertisements?
