I made a trade of their buggy platform, but once I closed the position, It froze my margin funds which couldnt be trasfered or used to trade. I contacted support multiple times about this, but all they dont even look into the particulars of my trade but simply tell me to wait for settlement.

Now it shows i have a negative realized p/l for the amount that was previously frozen. They straight up stole from me, and I need to inform the community about this. Take your coins out of here folks. Scam City!!!
You should give more evidence before you accused people/exchange, not just a few words.
I trade lots of time in okcoin, it's all fine for me. And I bet they can't dare to scam me, as the competition is fierce.

I'm telling you that they have a bug in their software that will freeze your funds and lock it into a trade even after you close the position. You can contact support about this and all you will get in response is 'you must wait until settlement' even though the funds are margin, not profits. Over time, the position will eventually move against you and get margin called, resulting in a total loss. I'm just giving you a heads up of what happened to me using their software. The bug is probably intentional and their 'support' is trained to deal with this scam.

They locked my funds in a position even after I closed the trade. I contacted support many times, but they dont have the power to do anything!!! just give you generic answers that dont solve anything. Eventualy the position went against me and my previously frozen funds are now negative realized p/l. Just my honest review of this scam company. The next mtgox, mark my words.

are they profits? profits are settled weekly before they can be withdrawn
have you closed your position?
what message are you getting from the platform? screenshot would be good

The profits were released opon weekly settlement, but my margin is still frozen until the contract expires, which is 65 days from now. And i cant even make another trade with it.

I am clearly being scammed here. The chat support and email support skirt around my questions and are giving me the run around. and I doubt the funds will even be released upon settlement. OKCoin.com are crooks.

Would not shock me in the least. They froze my margin after I made a trade on their shitty platform and wont release my funds. Their customer support is trained to divert but not solve any problems.

Paypal needs to start a bitcoin exchange. F these shady companies.

They froze my margin after I made a trade on their quarterly contract and said I have to wait until settlement before my funds are unfrozen. I dont even own the contract so why would I have to wait for settlement? They are obviously accumulating bitcoins for the big exit scam just around the corner! BE WARNED! We have all seen this before!!!

OKCoin wont release my funds!

I traded 2 btc on the quarterly contract (expires in about 70 days) at 20x. Closed the position with 0.03 btc profit, but now Okcoin is holding 0.97 btc in my futures account, which cannot be transfered to my spot account or even traded with. It is simply locked and not usable for the next 70 days until the contract expires. I contacted them multiple times regarding this, but they say that its 'regulations'.

Why would anyone in their right mind trade with okcoin if they routinely freeze your funds until the contract expires? Is this normal for okcoin or am I being scammed?
