got one on the last batch that i cant get into. lan port lights up, but the side lights on the boards do not.

thoughts?

Judging from my experience and from what I can tell, the side lights start flickering when the miner is actually mining.

Check your network settings.

Remember, most Ants from the latest batch come with an IP: 192.168.2.xx

Notice, it's 2 now not 1.

all 8 i got on this batch state 1.99 on them...

I got a $1k partial refund from btmine.  hoping replacing the missing caps on the one blade brings it back to life.  figured was better than losing 350 in return shipping.

if i cant fix the blade i'll sell on ebay.  hopefully someone buys that can fix

have they been in contact lately?

I still haven't heard word, had to resort to filing a claim with paypal and they still won't get back to me Sad

Are they still working... skype? btminecom?
My friend has some problem, hashunit 11 is "0" Sad

FYI I send an email to btmine about the issue of damaged/nonworking units and he replied very quickly.  He told me that I can ship my damaged hashing board by itself back to btmine in China and they will send a new replacement board back.  I am sure it will take a week round trip, but that allows me to keep my working 100Gh/s up and running and avoids having to pay a huge shipping cost (shipping the board should not cost nearly as much, but I have not investigated that yet).

When did you email them and when did they respond? I have 3 units DOA and they won't email me back at all.

If shipping broken units back is not working out, it might make more sense to see if there is a trusted member here who could do the repairs nearby (same country would be good). This is what was done with Drillbit boards that needed some repairs. Drillbit paid for the repairs in that case. I don't know if BTMine will offer to do this but it would go a long way in terms of building some trust back.

id prefer not to waste any more time with this junk and invalidate my paypal claim. the way btmine chooses to communicate also fills me with no confidence of this ever working out.

I don't know how everyone's came, but mine wasn't even repairable. One of the units was completely unsecured and had broken part of the PCB in shipping...So I can't just desolder and solder something back on.

Soo....what's the recourse for people who don't want to pay $400 to ship something back and then have it refused to be signed for?

I am in your boat, i am trying to get a hold of paypal to discuss what to do. Word is they aren't accepting/ or aren't at the address for returns.

Sorry to hear this, I hope you get your refund, it will cost a lot to ship them back.  What happened to them, what kind of damages?

Mtnminer

All 3 miners received, all 3 broken beyond repair. Asked for money to be refunded on paypal. We'll see what happens.

I'm not sure the address will fly to ship back, i asked the seller to confirm this. Also stated I want money to ship back.

I filed a claim with paypal that is now in my favor.

Cords cut, capacitors broke off, tplinks busted, cases bent, etc.. 2 of them nothing inside was connected to the case. 3rd was ok, but broken parts.

I am on the same boat as you regarding paypal. I shipped them back the broken parts for repair and they still haven't accepted delivery.

How much did shipping cost? I'm waiting to hear from paypal on shipping back. I'll let them know that they aren't taking delivery.

Bitcoin will change the landscape of monetary transactions across the world for those seeking increased privacy. It may even threaten elements of the existing monetary system so much in the next few years that it fuels its own demise.

Email back from tech support today.

Hello,

From the stats you have submitted below it appears you miner is running at 624GH/s, this is likely to be caused by the odd cores disabling.
We are soon to be releasing the tuning suite for our November miners. This will allow you to control the voltage input of each die individually. Increasing the voltage on the dies with disabling cores can stop these cores from disabling.
The firmware will be released onto our website soon.
