"Well, we don't deal the deck down here, we just play the cards"  - Daryl Van Horne The Witches of Eastwick (1987 film) written by John Updike.

Relax and HODL.  You have a good idea about what is going to happen, just take it easy and act calmly and rationally.

The hodlers have never regretted it thus far.
I try not to think of bitcoin in terms of how much USD it's worth.

I treat bitcoin like gold buried in my backyard.
I plan to keep it there for 50 years and add to it for my children and grandchildren, not continually dig some up to take some profits.
Therefore, the graph doesn't concern me at all unless it crashes and doesn't recover.

It's about individual belief, you can't force anyone to get into this industry. Some people are still very selfish and stick to their principles even though they know the US is making reserves and MicroStrategy has stored a large amount of Bitcoin.
One thing you should never ignore, other people never care about your interests, so why should you worry about thoughts that are arranged as if you are the main person responsible if most of the world is miserable.
Come on friend, try to start thinking positively and build a strong foundation to pave the way for achieving much better final results.

Hey, I'm positive about the future.
Someone correctly pointed out that fiat currency has the same problem.
It's actually a money problem as a whole.

I'm satisfied!

I know that some people will hail you or encourage you about your choice but my question is are you taking some profits off the table? Because anything can happen mate, Bitcoin looks like the best of the best right now but don't bet all your life on Bitcoin.

You said that you are now sure that Bitcoin is here to stay, and it's also less risky now, do you know that the best time to get Bitcoin for less money is over? Those time where Bitcoin future looks uncertainty was the best time to get Bitcoin with even smaller amount of money.

I just want to correct you in that part, you don't get into something when everyone in the world knows about it, this is why risks exists, while it looks impossible is the best time to be a believer, don't do the same thing that everyone in the world is doing or else you will end up on the queue like them..

I'm not a gambler. I wasn't interested in bitcoin when it was a darkweb-style money.
So, getting in when the risk is still high for a relatively low 2x/3x gains (compared to 1000x in early 2010s) within the next 5 years is comfortable for me.
I'm willing to not freak out over bear cycles because I don't need my bitcoin investment to survive.
It's like my grandpa's gold he buried in the back yard. He didn't plan to use it to buy slurpees at 7/11.
Hodl it, and pass it on.

We're still at the point where many people are not interested in bitcoin.
If I can double my investment and have it continue to grow to build a legacy for my children, I'm happy.

You can always limit your exposure to bitcoin. I don’t know your asset portfolio structure but hopefully you are not going all in on bitcoin because like you noticed, there might be some dangers ahead.

Not owning bitcoin is equally dangerous, sometimes even fatal.

Btc is a decentralized asset. If in the future somehow something happens to it, there won’t be anybody taking responsibility. Whatever you had bitcoin will be gone.

But if it keeps rising, you will also be sorry because btc is on its way to reach a million usd. It not a matter of if anymore.

My bitcoin holding is only 10% of my total investments. Having a family makes it hard to make it any more than that...

Also guys, yes, my takes are dumb! See my title under my name? "newbie"

Newbie to bitcoin here.
I started stacking in March once I determined bitcoin was no longer a risk, it was a sure thing.
What made me switch tune was the US creating a reserve and finding MicroStrategy.

However, I'm concerned about the end game.

Here it is, let me know how dumb I am.

Bitcoin dominates --> Regular John sees writing on the wall as fiat currency crashes --> Bitcoin is too scare and pricey to get any amount equal to the dollars they've saved --> large companies, governments, and early adopters become hyper wealthy --> major wealth gap and misery for most of the world except us --> sad state
