One thing about football is that, once the opposition team can be able to find a strategy to use in penetrating your defence, such team will surely be the winner of that particular match, that was the case of Chelsea vs Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea was able to identify the strategy to be penetrating the defense of Paris Saint-Germain on time that is why Chelsea was able to dominating from the first half to the end of the match, it was a great surprise to me because i was supporting Paris Saint-Germain to be victorious over Chelsea but it was shock to me when the match ended in favor of Chelsea. Football is always a game of love that every matches there must be a team to be victorious over one.
Rather than thinking of it as a match with surprises in it, I would rather say the match was a mafia match. It doesn't make sense when a team that has everything then has to lose to a team that doesn't even have a good performance in their league. It's ok if Chelsea had to win in the end, but if we look at the statistics, the match shouldn't have ended with Chelsea 3 - 0 PSG, Chelsea 1 - 0 PSG is more reasonable.
I actually disagree with your claim that this is a mafia match, and this doesn't make sense. In a final, every team wants to win, and player quality or other statistics sometimes don't apply in a final because both teams have an equal chance of winning. Even though PSG has the better players, a final is a different game because of the different atmosphere, and this is where the coach plays a role in reading the game and changing strategy.
Perhaps you should read Chelsea's history, as they have often been underdogs in finals. For example, in the UCL final against Munich, they were underdogs, but they won. And when Chelsea faced Man City in the UCL final, they were also underdogs, but Chelsea managed to win. So, Chelsea has a better history when facing finals again, which is why I disagree with your claim that the recent Club World Cup final was a mafia match.
I've saw so many so called articles accusing Chelsea and PSG of rigged game but let's be honest , PSG had a really bad day and couldn't play football how they wanted and Chelsea punished them for that with 3 goals , simple as that. Accusing them of mafia betting is just a meme in the end with no real factors to indicate towards a mafia game.
Also another reason for both teams to not make a rigged game was the prize involved for actually achieving the finals and also winning it , so the amount of money involved for both teams already satisfies both of them financially.
