Ethereum opened the doors for many new projects and provided a starting point for them. It would have taken them a lot more time to develop their blockchains on their own.

Re: Do you think the price of BTC will drop to 4000 dollars?
I don't think it will go that low, hopefully won't go below $5000 but who knows. I'm in for the long term anyway.
BTC has a lot of support around 6K and I doubt it will go under 5K. I am optimistic and hope it will slowly rise to 7K level and from there we'll see how it will go.
For those of you who are worried about scam ICOs and the like, know that the NEO chain only has ICOs that have a clear business and well formed teams. Not everyone can ICO in NEO.
That is a bold claim, but it happened many times that well known teams with a lot of previous experience and successful projects behind them ended up scamming people in their last projects. NEO can only verify teams, can't give any guarantees that those teams will live up to their promises.
Free airdrops? you can get more airdrops on telegram pages that are set for airdrops only. You can also get some on bounty campaigns because most bounty projects use to launch airdrops before the start of the bounty.
You should check all the sources guys listed above and frequently browse here through the Bitcointalk there are often announcements for good airdrop projects.

In a sense it is an investment, you invest a lot of your free time in completing any of the requests the bounty manager might place in front of you.

This is not the first time BTC dropped so much (if we look at the percentage) but this time it was so high in fiat value that everyone and his uncle noticed what was going on and it became a big deal. Optimistic people among us hope that this will only precede the next ATH.
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents. Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.
Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.
It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.
If as a community we do not say no to this, then it would become the norm.
You are right, it absolutely makes no sense and goes against the basic crypto principles. It is one thing for a well known and established exchange to ask for personal data and follow through with KYC but it is ridiculous to send your personal info to some random dudes on the internet. I am not saying they will all have malicious intentions with your info but some might and I am firmly against that.
In 2017 I bought an Ethereum for 300$ and then successfully sold for 1000$. Now its price is about 450 and I think I can already buy and the price will rise to the previous highs.
I also did something similar, bought in 2017 at around 320$ and sold when it reached 1200$.
Really nice post OP, I love some good hardware porn. It does look good inside and the build quality is fine but I could see in some other threads buyers are not so happy about it.
You win some, you loose some.. Usually the GPU`s being screwed over, apparently now its the other way around
Yes, this seems to be one of the rare cases where the tables have turned. I feel sorry for those that invested into this miner and can't get profit from it or break even.

Always DYOR before making any investment into crypto and never invest more than you are prepared to lose - govern by those rules and you will have no problems or at least it will be easier for you to survive tough times.

It looks like this product went into the grey zone, like they did not give it too much thought and no proper testing was done with relevant algos.

Hello everyone, I'm a newcomer, but I really want to learn how to mine. How can I start my study? Can I recommend some elementary teaching? I'm currently idle 4 video cards at 1080, I don't know if it's useful, I hope Enthusiastic people can help me.
Google "what to mine" and you can find many online calculators that will tell you exactly what your cards can mine, what the current profit based on the hasrate and electric bill. Prices go up and down so it is not easy to find something to mine longterm. I mine ETH but the price is dropping and maybe I will switch to someting else.
I highly recommend you friends before creating a new topic, look if there's such a topic already on the forum. I'm just going to duplicate my post with a link to another branch where we discussed this issue.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3661707.msg40162258#msg40162258 There are a lot of features in bounty companies. 1) the quality of the product that comes out on the ICO 2) the Number of participants in the bounty of the company 3) the Quality and number of subscribers in your accounts in social networks (FB. TW. Instagram, etc.) 4) What is your rank on the forum 5) Which platform do you use
Thank you for that link and your 5 criteria. I will read through the other thread to get a better idea on when to pay more attention.
I would not do anything in your place, I'm waiting now for the situation on the market to clear up a bit, because it's still rather unclear.
There is too much volatility and the price is jumping all over the board. For some people it is risky to invest at this point and some use this situation as the opportunity to day trade and by lows and sell highs.

Re: Steemit how can this thing be workable long term?
From my understanding, when you start powering down, you still have Vests, so you still have a share the 9:1 steam going into the vesting pool. The amount of Steem that you get each week should increase. In the end, you are going to get much more Steem than what you put in. You can hope the market does not plummet faster than the slow increase in the amount of coins that you receive each week.
The whole system seems too complicated and I did not have enough time to study it properly (recently registered on their platform) and I doubt I will have any good content to publish there soon.
At this point in time, as the entire exchange rate of the crypto-currencies market is on a sharp decline in exchange rates, I think this is a great time to invest in cryptos. You should watch the rates of cryptos you want to invest to be able to watch the bottom of the exchange rate to make a profit when the crypto rate of recovery.
Well, BTC dropped 1K in less than 24 hours and if this is not good time to buy I don't know when it is.

There's no better time to invest than the dips. Buy dips, sell highs and even if you are not a day trader you will get profit pretty fast.
