Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)
by

on 12/09/2025, 07:50:30 UTC

Atalanta is beginning to degrade out of the team it used to be and this is majorly due to the way they built the game initially around Ademola Lookman the previous year. This is not to justify their dwindling stance but to urge the team to look inwardly, in as much as Ademola Lookman could not secure a move, he should be integrated into the team while coaching up his replacement. The team misunderstanding is also influencing his output in this ongoing international game.  You can tell his unsettled heart from his countenance during the break. If the team reintegrate him, it would be more profitable for them when the transfer window opens in January. But leaving him out of the games would cause both economic waste and self degradation.
I think that is the best thing to do at the moment, to integrate Lookman back into the squad while they look around for good replacement in the next window. For the time Lookman can be a strong force for the team until the next window when he can finally get a move away for a new challenge elsewhere.
Lookman isn't an easy player. That's why I believe he needs to be brought into the team. Lookman wanted to transfer and couldn't get it done this season. However, he must still do his best for Atalanta. This is what professionalism demands. Furthermore, if he falls out with Atalanta, they won't sign him until the mid-season transfer window. Without match experience, a player will constantly regress.
There are rumors circulating currently that Inter Milan has withdrawn from the negotiation table for Ademola Lookman, so with this news it can be confirmed that Ademola Lookman will continue to play with the Atalanta team even though he previously said he wanted to leave the Atalanta team but with the failure of negotiations with the Inter Milan team, Ademola Lookman was forced to have no choice but to continue playing in the Atalanta squad, even though apart from the Inter Milan team there are several other teams such as the Atletico Madrid team who previously also said they wanted to recruit Ademola Lookman but until now there has been no further agreement between the two parties regarding his recruitment.

Re: Is stablecoin gambling killing the crypto edge?
by
bounceback
on 12/09/2025, 02:18:30 UTC
Back in the day we were just using the major coins like Bitcoin and some altcoins - no stablecoins yet. We gambled with the price volatility too, but we liked it because it was non-regulated and gave us full freedom in gambling.

Now crypto casinos are very regulated already, meaning we have to comply with KYC. And if we’re using stablecoins like USDT, USDC, BUSD, etc., then it’s really no different from fiat casinos since both the payment method and the casino itself are regulated.

The downside is, does blockchain now just feel like a wrapper? If I’m using USDT, it feels no different from betting with dollars on a centralized e-wallet, aside from slightly cheaper transfers.

So that’s my question, are they killing the crypto edge we enjoyed before?
Do you mean eliminating the advantages of decentralization from cryptocurrency because I know that is also one of the advantages of crypto so far, if that is true what you mean but I think they do not want to eliminate that advantage, maybe they use centralized USDT or USDC because it makes it easier for them when they want to make deposits or withdrawals on the gambling platform they play, the advantages of crypto decentralization will never be lost because this is one of the basic factors that brought cryptocurrency to develop so far and on the other hand, currently there are still gambling sites available that still allow betting using bitcoin and other altcoins and without having to do KYC on the gambling site.

Re: gambling and divorce
by

is there a connection between gambling and divorce rate?

Research from the National Gambling Impact Study Commission and the Gambling Impact and Behavior Study indicates that divorce rates for those dealing with gambling issues are estimated to be around 40% for problem gamblers and approximately 54% for pathological gamblers.

i think the moment we hide our gambling habits from our partners that is the moment we will get in trouble because that is when trust crumbles and when you get in trouble in gambling and have to tell your partner you will be surprising them

not to mention some people also spend money from money that both the partners contributed in

so aside from gambling responsibly, will you agree that we should disclose our gambling habits or is it not the business of our spouses? does gambling really have the capacity to break up a marriage or a family?
Although this is not directly related to relationships, gambling is also one of the factors that can cause a person's relationship to fail with their partner, but this only applies to addicts or irresponsible gamblers, because they usually lie to their partners when they want to gamble, so that's where the beginning of disputes with their partners arises, which becomes increasingly complicated, especially if one day the gambler uses savings funds that are saved with their partner to gamble, then it is very likely that their relationship will end badly if the funds are no longer left for their living expenses.

Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread

Bayern Munich is indeed at a much better level, and they also have a number of players capable of making the league even more competitive, making it difficult for other teams to break their dominance. The quality of the players Bayern Munich has is above average compared to other clubs, making Bayern Munich the only one with a strong squad. It's hard to understand why Leverkusen chose Ten Hag as Xabi Alonso's replacement, given that they saw Ten Hag's abilities during his time as Manchester United manager. It was a bad decision for Leverkusen, although they have now ended their partnership with the coach, and we hope the new manager will be much more successful.
If Leverkusen had not immediately chosen Ten Hag as their manager and instead chosen another coach before the season started, perhaps Leverkusen wouldn't be experiencing the same predicament as they are now. However, I am more confident that Leverkusen will gradually improve, even though no new manager has arrived to replace Ten Hag. In this case, it will certainly be impossible to compete with Bayern Munich, let alone surpass them and break their dominance in the Bundesliga this season.
Even if they can quickly replace Ten Hag, I don't think Leverkusen can immediately dominate Bayern Munich, as Bayern's current performance is very convincing, showing they have improved significantly this season compared to several other teams currently competing in the Bundesliga. It shouldn't be too late for Leverkusen to bounce back with a new coach, especially with so many matches still to play, giving the Leverkusen players time to adapt to the new coach's game plan.

Re: Reason to return to gambling after quitting
by

on 10/09/2025, 08:25:21 UTC
I saw a post about someone returning to gambling after quitting for some time, maybe a year or more. But my concern is not more on the return to gambling, rather it is on the very question I am about to ask that requires your opinions if really we want to solve the problem of gambling and addiction into it

What could be the reason for his return and what can be done to manage such situation?
People who return to gambling after previously quitting may not necessarily be addicted to gambling, but they may return simply for entertainment. This is especially true if they stopped gambling to focus on their work, making it highly likely they'll gamble again only in their free time.
Given this situation, we can conclude that the person is not an addict. If we're talking about a gambling addict, it's impossible to stop gambling for a year. Usually, let alone a year, even a week is difficult for someone addicted to stop gambling.

Re: Losing time in gambling is worse than losing money.
by

on 10/09/2025, 02:03:31 UTC
We all know you can never get time back, and when you’re losing in gambling and not even enjoying it, that’s time wasted too. Double the stress means a bad day, and sometimes it carries over, because there are always consequences when you’re addicted to gambling.

If you’re someone who values your time, you really need to be careful when taking risks in gambling. Always stay responsible to avoid this from happening. Instead of using that time to improve yourself, you get carried away and end up wasting it all on something that doesn’t even give you anything back.
Not all gamblers mean they don't value their time because there are also some gamblers who only gamble when they are stressed and place their bets just for entertainment, but this is all very different from addicts who often waste a lot of time in gambling places because if we think about it even though they gamble almost every day but they don't get big wins, sometimes even though there are wins once in a while but we can be sure that with that win they can't return the capital they have spent when gambling so we can conclude that this type of gambler really doesn't value their time.

Re: ? Lega Serie A ?? (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2025/2026 ?

I believe there is no reason for not giving Napoli a high chance to win another championship in the Serie A next season. They still have Conte and he has built a really good chemistry the players already.

Who can prevent this potential back-to-back title? I still see Inter as the closest one to that despite bringing an questionable coach to the team. Milan and Roma have made really nice coach signings so I'm curious about what they will do as well.

Napoli certainly has a good chance of winning the Scudetto again, let's say that of all the teams they are the one with the greatest probability of winning, if you think about it carefully.
After a solid year, he continues with a strengthened team and the same coach, therefore they can win again
Indeed, Napoli has succeeded in winning the Scudetto trophy but it does not mean that they can easily lift the trophy again if they do not make some significant changes to the Napoli team because considering that currently almost all teams from the Serie A League have made many changes to their teams such as bringing in talented players, as long as the match has not started I think we cannot conclude which team will win the Scudetto title again because we have not seen the way of playing that will be displayed by each team and of course there will be differences depending on how the team coaches rely on strategies to go through the start of the season later.

Re: Seems like the market is impacted by Israel-Iran situation...

Even without this Israel-Iran war, btc downtrend will surely occur in the market due to its high volatility. However, the good thing is, btc price recovers eventually in time, regardless if there are any or no positive news or events that would impact the market. But it would be great if positive sentiments are there so that btc price will recover quickly.

Furthermore, looking at the current price, I don’t see any significant price drop happening there. It’s just a little markdown that will move upward any moment from now.
Although the current war between Israel and Iran does not have a direct impact on bitcoin, when tensions occur, it often causes investors to panic, causing a momentary downward trend in the price of bitcoin, and this has often been experienced by the bitcoin market when there is a heated war between countries. However, because the current decline is only temporary, we don't need to worry too much about it and it's a good idea to take advantage of this decline to buy bitcoin because when tensions begin to subside, the price of bitcoin will slowly recover.

Re: How much risk is it worth taking?
by

on 19/06/2025, 05:02:49 UTC

Is it worth it to gamble without thinking? Or to get caught up in the idea that you'll solve your problems with a stroke of luck? Difficult, right? The truth is that if you're going to take risks, you have to do it consciously. Don't bet what you can't afford to lose.
Whatever we do, of course, all have risks and it all depends on how we deal with it. In gambling, the risk of loss is much greater, so when we want to gamble, we are required to be able to manage the risk so as not to lose everything. We often see some people who play without considering the risk, so usually they always feel a loss when they are in a bet because they only rely on luck and hope that luck can give them victory, so we can conclude that if we do it without managing the risk properly, it will always end in loss.

I don't know if I should laugh.
as popular saying goes "Better late than never". This is a good example in this case. It's true that they were too late to realize the importance of investing in Bitcoin and began advising their clients, but that's better than never noticing.

I see the wealthy as the least invested in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I don't know why. Is it because they fear these assets are unsafe or because they are too rich and uninterested in finding new sources of increased profits?
In the end, bitcoin is the only solution to avoid inflation rates on our finances so that sooner or later everyone will turn to bitcoin.
It is true that many rich people that we see are on average more interested in investing in real estate than investing in bitcoin even though basically the returns offered by bitcoin are much higher than the returns from real estate investments, maybe it could be because they think that it will be very risky to invest in bitcoin, so they don't dare to invest in bitcoin.

Have you ever been in that situation yourself? How many times have you promised yourself you'd stop gambling only to find you're still doing it today?
I used to experience a condition like this where at that time I always experienced consecutive defeats every time I played for a period of more than a week and at that time I was really depressed so that angrily and regretfully told myself that I would not bet again, but after going through several weeks without betting, I finally received a monthly salary from work, so after that I wanted to bet again and since then I have always applied strategies and applied limits when I want to bet so as not to repeat previous regrets and I realize that gambling without prioritizing limits will lead to depression.

I can loan him in one condition he needs to be sober and stop gambling for at least a month to show that he is not using the money for gambling and it will be under close monitoring and supervision.
Its hard to grant a loan to anyone who is deep into gambling even if you are close to him or you owe him something, lending him will just give him money and reason to continue gambling in the hope that they can get all their losses back.
There is no point in us monitoring them, because when someone is addicted to gambling, they will usually use various ways to avoid us, because all they have in mind at that time is how to make the game run smoothly. Indeed, on the one hand, it is a difficult choice for us if there are people who actively gamble asking for loans, especially if we have debts to them so that we are forced to give them loans so that we are not considered as people who do not know how to repay their services, but we are only allowed to lend it once and after that we are not allowed to lend it again so as not to cause internal problems with them.

on 17/06/2025, 12:58:30 UTC
Let’s admit it, majority of us here have underestimated the price of bitcoin before and we don’t even think that its price will grow as fast like what we have at the moment. That’s how unpredictable bitcoin is, and how amazing it is, to the point that it leaves a lot of people to rush entering the market just to buy and hold bitcoin, and be profitable just like the early bitcoiners were.
Not to belittle, but at that time because of our lack of knowledge about bitcoin, many of us ignored it and back when bitcoin was not too valuable, only a few people thought that bitcoin could develop like this, and some were even willing to waste their bitcoins in vain.
We can't repeat all that again and the most important thing now is how we must consistently collect bitcoins every chance we get by doing DCA by taking advantage of price drops, maybe this way we can have the opportunity to get maximum profit if one day the price of bitcoin soars.

Re: How much money do you have to lose before gambling is a problem?
by
bounceback
on 17/06/2025, 07:18:15 UTC
Note this the amount of money lost or won doesn't determine when gambling becomes problematic. Because many people believe that when you loose a specific amount of money in gambling them gambling is then problematic to a person. And other consider gambling to be problematic when it only give a person a  financial problems, no I don't think so. What I consider problematic is not only when gambling cause you financial problem, but if gambling is interfering with individual's relationships, job, mental or physical health or any area of their life then gambling is problematic. So what about you guys what do you think? You contributions matters.
But the fact is when you have lost all your money in gambling, that's where problems will arise one by one that have an impact on a person's personal life, perhaps the most important thing in this case is to set certain limits on the finances we use when we want to bet on gambling games, for example, we have $ 200 - $ 300, maybe it's a good idea for us to only spend $ 200 or below that number and the rest is for a handle that we can use for personal needs other than placing bets, if we are able to apply limits like this while gambling, then I'm sure it will not cause serious problems for us.

Re: Long-term earnings in sports betting are evidence of high intelligence.
by
bounceback
on 17/06/2025, 04:01:47 UTC

I am not at all sure that the persistent fool will be profitable in the long run. Persistence is a quality that can bring success in other areas, for example, in business. In real business, there are often situations where you are required to persist and persist in achieving your goals. The most important thing, the main thing that persistent fools can survive in the long run is the low cost of mistakes. In business, mistakes can really be cheap, although this is not always the case. In gambling, mistakes are almost always expensive if you measure them as a percentage of the entire deposit. The high cost of mistakes will not allow the persistent fool to have significant profits in the long run.
Indeed, people who often make mistakes when betting are very unlikely to be able to get profit when playing, but on the one hand, sometimes no matter how smart a gambler is, even though he is able to make a good game strategy, it does not guarantee that he can get a lot of money through betting because in the game, a person's luck factor also greatly affects his victory. Gambling is very different from doing business because in doing business we are required to continue to have skills if we want to make a profit so that it cannot be equated with betting games because they are not related to each other.

When it comes to comparing Bitcoin and Shitcoins we need to have a look at parameters like scarcity. Only Bitcoin is really scarce, Shitcoins can be launched over and over again, even when a single Shitcoin has a max supply. Bitcoin is limited to only 21M coins and no Shitcoin can be scarcer.
So, in terms of scarcity, Bitcoin is king.  Smiley
Yes, scarcity is one of the important factors and greatly influences the price of bitcoin to remain valuable until now because with a limited supply, its price movements cannot be easily manipulated by a group of whales.
Shitcoin is not a coin that we can take seriously, especially since we know that currently there are thousands of shitcoins on the market and most of them have a very high supply, some even have an unlimited supply which makes them worthless on the market.
There is no need to compare bitcoin with shitcoin because bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that continues to be of interest to investors from all sides of its structure.

Re: How to play without taking too much risk?
by

on 16/06/2025, 06:04:49 UTC
Yes, and the most effective thing is to always keep an amount willing to lose in any case, whether it is in the casino or to make a sports bet, we must start from the fact that the most probable thing is that we will lose that money, we cannot have all our money to risk it , so that Should not be a problem, just play with what we can lose, that way it will not affect our daily life.

Obviously, gamblers should only play with funds that they aren't afraid to lose, and the loss of which won't create additional financial difficulties. However, I think that many people neglect this. Maybe because of greed, or maybe because betting a very small amount of money can be boring.
I think they do not intentionally ignore it but when betting most people will lose control especially for those who are experiencing defeat even though sometimes before starting the bet they have actually prepared a strategy and applied limits to their finances so as not to experience greater losses but when emotions control our mindset then that's where gamblers often make the wrong decision even though they are aware that the decision will be very risky, some gamblers will feel dissatisfied if they want to stop playing when they have reached the specified limit because they think if they stop after betting a few times then they will waste the opportunity to win in the next round so they don't care anymore about the limit they made.

You were experimenting with sports betting and found yourself profitable with your strategy. However, you can’t raise a bigger bankroll to generate larger profits. Then there’s this one guy who believes in you and is willing to lend you money, of course, with interest, almost like a loan shark rate. The question is, would you see this as an opportunity or just a trap?

Yes, it is clearly a trap and if you swallow it, it becomes a high risk for you, indeed sometimes the strategy we make can bring us to win a bet, but can you guarantee that the strategy will always be useful in the next bet, it is highly discouraged to place bets with borrowed money because if you lose, it will be a double loss for you, I mean after losing money in a bet, you also have to pay the loan, so by taking the loan, you have made the risk even higher in the game.
