Re: ? Lega Serie A ?? (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2025/2026 ?

I believe there is no reason for not giving Napoli a high chance to win another championship in the Serie A next season. They still have Conte and he has built a really good chemistry the players already.

Who can prevent this potential back-to-back title? I still see Inter as the closest one to that despite bringing an questionable coach to the team. Milan and Roma have made really nice coach signings so I'm curious about what they will do as well.

Napoli certainly has a good chance of winning the Scudetto again, let's say that of all the teams they are the one with the greatest probability of winning, if you think about it carefully.
After a solid year, he continues with a strengthened team and the same coach, therefore they can win again
Indeed, Napoli has succeeded in winning the Scudetto trophy but it does not mean that they can easily lift the trophy again if they do not make some significant changes to the Napoli team because considering that currently almost all teams from the Serie A League have made many changes to their teams such as bringing in talented players, as long as the match has not started I think we cannot conclude which team will win the Scudetto title again because we have not seen the way of playing that will be displayed by each team and of course there will be differences depending on how the team coaches rely on strategies to go through the start of the season later.

Re: Seems like the market is impacted by Israel-Iran situation...

Even without this Israel-Iran war, btc downtrend will surely occur in the market due to its high volatility. However, the good thing is, btc price recovers eventually in time, regardless if there are any or no positive news or events that would impact the market. But it would be great if positive sentiments are there so that btc price will recover quickly.

Furthermore, looking at the current price, I don’t see any significant price drop happening there. It’s just a little markdown that will move upward any moment from now.
Although the current war between Israel and Iran does not have a direct impact on bitcoin, when tensions occur, it often causes investors to panic, causing a momentary downward trend in the price of bitcoin, and this has often been experienced by the bitcoin market when there is a heated war between countries. However, because the current decline is only temporary, we don't need to worry too much about it and it's a good idea to take advantage of this decline to buy bitcoin because when tensions begin to subside, the price of bitcoin will slowly recover.

Re: How much risk is it worth taking?
by

on 19/06/2025, 05:02:49 UTC

Is it worth it to gamble without thinking? Or to get caught up in the idea that you'll solve your problems with a stroke of luck? Difficult, right? The truth is that if you're going to take risks, you have to do it consciously. Don't bet what you can't afford to lose.
Whatever we do, of course, all have risks and it all depends on how we deal with it. In gambling, the risk of loss is much greater, so when we want to gamble, we are required to be able to manage the risk so as not to lose everything. We often see some people who play without considering the risk, so usually they always feel a loss when they are in a bet because they only rely on luck and hope that luck can give them victory, so we can conclude that if we do it without managing the risk properly, it will always end in loss.

I don't know if I should laugh.
as popular saying goes "Better late than never". This is a good example in this case. It's true that they were too late to realize the importance of investing in Bitcoin and began advising their clients, but that's better than never noticing.

I see the wealthy as the least invested in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I don't know why. Is it because they fear these assets are unsafe or because they are too rich and uninterested in finding new sources of increased profits?
In the end, bitcoin is the only solution to avoid inflation rates on our finances so that sooner or later everyone will turn to bitcoin.
It is true that many rich people that we see are on average more interested in investing in real estate than investing in bitcoin even though basically the returns offered by bitcoin are much higher than the returns from real estate investments, maybe it could be because they think that it will be very risky to invest in bitcoin, so they don't dare to invest in bitcoin.

Have you ever been in that situation yourself? How many times have you promised yourself you'd stop gambling only to find you're still doing it today?
I used to experience a condition like this where at that time I always experienced consecutive defeats every time I played for a period of more than a week and at that time I was really depressed so that angrily and regretfully told myself that I would not bet again, but after going through several weeks without betting, I finally received a monthly salary from work, so after that I wanted to bet again and since then I have always applied strategies and applied limits when I want to bet so as not to repeat previous regrets and I realize that gambling without prioritizing limits will lead to depression.

Re: Should money be loan or given in this circumstance?

I can loan him in one condition he needs to be sober and stop gambling for at least a month to show that he is not using the money for gambling and it will be under close monitoring and supervision.
Its hard to grant a loan to anyone who is deep into gambling even if you are close to him or you owe him something, lending him will just give him money and reason to continue gambling in the hope that they can get all their losses back.
There is no point in us monitoring them, because when someone is addicted to gambling, they will usually use various ways to avoid us, because all they have in mind at that time is how to make the game run smoothly. Indeed, on the one hand, it is a difficult choice for us if there are people who actively gamble asking for loans, especially if we have debts to them so that we are forced to give them loans so that we are not considered as people who do not know how to repay their services, but we are only allowed to lend it once and after that we are not allowed to lend it again so as not to cause internal problems with them.

Let’s admit it, majority of us here have underestimated the price of bitcoin before and we don’t even think that its price will grow as fast like what we have at the moment. That’s how unpredictable bitcoin is, and how amazing it is, to the point that it leaves a lot of people to rush entering the market just to buy and hold bitcoin, and be profitable just like the early bitcoiners were.
Not to belittle, but at that time because of our lack of knowledge about bitcoin, many of us ignored it and back when bitcoin was not too valuable, only a few people thought that bitcoin could develop like this, and some were even willing to waste their bitcoins in vain.
We can't repeat all that again and the most important thing now is how we must consistently collect bitcoins every chance we get by doing DCA by taking advantage of price drops, maybe this way we can have the opportunity to get maximum profit if one day the price of bitcoin soars.

Re: How much money do you have to lose before gambling is a problem?
by
bounceback
on 17/06/2025, 07:18:15 UTC
Note this the amount of money lost or won doesn't determine when gambling becomes problematic. Because many people believe that when you loose a specific amount of money in gambling them gambling is then problematic to a person. And other consider gambling to be problematic when it only give a person a  financial problems, no I don't think so. What I consider problematic is not only when gambling cause you financial problem, but if gambling is interfering with individual's relationships, job, mental or physical health or any area of their life then gambling is problematic. So what about you guys what do you think? You contributions matters.
But the fact is when you have lost all your money in gambling, that's where problems will arise one by one that have an impact on a person's personal life, perhaps the most important thing in this case is to set certain limits on the finances we use when we want to bet on gambling games, for example, we have $ 200 - $ 300, maybe it's a good idea for us to only spend $ 200 or below that number and the rest is for a handle that we can use for personal needs other than placing bets, if we are able to apply limits like this while gambling, then I'm sure it will not cause serious problems for us.

Re: Long-term earnings in sports betting are evidence of high intelligence.
by

on 17/06/2025, 04:01:47 UTC

I am not at all sure that the persistent fool will be profitable in the long run. Persistence is a quality that can bring success in other areas, for example, in business. In real business, there are often situations where you are required to persist and persist in achieving your goals. The most important thing, the main thing that persistent fools can survive in the long run is the low cost of mistakes. In business, mistakes can really be cheap, although this is not always the case. In gambling, mistakes are almost always expensive if you measure them as a percentage of the entire deposit. The high cost of mistakes will not allow the persistent fool to have significant profits in the long run.
Indeed, people who often make mistakes when betting are very unlikely to be able to get profit when playing, but on the one hand, sometimes no matter how smart a gambler is, even though he is able to make a good game strategy, it does not guarantee that he can get a lot of money through betting because in the game, a person's luck factor also greatly affects his victory. Gambling is very different from doing business because in doing business we are required to continue to have skills if we want to make a profit so that it cannot be equated with betting games because they are not related to each other.

Re: Only Bitcoin is really scarce, Shitcoins aren't
by

on 16/06/2025, 13:18:38 UTC
When it comes to comparing Bitcoin and Shitcoins we need to have a look at parameters like scarcity. Only Bitcoin is really scarce, Shitcoins can be launched over and over again, even when a single Shitcoin has a max supply. Bitcoin is limited to only 21M coins and no Shitcoin can be scarcer.
So, in terms of scarcity, Bitcoin is king.  Smiley
Yes, scarcity is one of the important factors and greatly influences the price of bitcoin to remain valuable until now because with a limited supply, its price movements cannot be easily manipulated by a group of whales.
Shitcoin is not a coin that we can take seriously, especially since we know that currently there are thousands of shitcoins on the market and most of them have a very high supply, some even have an unlimited supply which makes them worthless on the market.
There is no need to compare bitcoin with shitcoin because bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that continues to be of interest to investors from all sides of its structure.

Re: How to play without taking too much risk?
by
bounceback
on 16/06/2025, 06:04:49 UTC
Yes, and the most effective thing is to always keep an amount willing to lose in any case, whether it is in the casino or to make a sports bet, we must start from the fact that the most probable thing is that we will lose that money, we cannot have all our money to risk it , so that Should not be a problem, just play with what we can lose, that way it will not affect our daily life.

Obviously, gamblers should only play with funds that they aren't afraid to lose, and the loss of which won't create additional financial difficulties. However, I think that many people neglect this. Maybe because of greed, or maybe because betting a very small amount of money can be boring.
I think they do not intentionally ignore it but when betting most people will lose control especially for those who are experiencing defeat even though sometimes before starting the bet they have actually prepared a strategy and applied limits to their finances so as not to experience greater losses but when emotions control our mindset then that's where gamblers often make the wrong decision even though they are aware that the decision will be very risky, some gamblers will feel dissatisfied if they want to stop playing when they have reached the specified limit because they think if they stop after betting a few times then they will waste the opportunity to win in the next round so they don't care anymore about the limit they made.

You were experimenting with sports betting and found yourself profitable with your strategy. However, you can’t raise a bigger bankroll to generate larger profits. Then there’s this one guy who believes in you and is willing to lend you money, of course, with interest, almost like a loan shark rate. The question is, would you see this as an opportunity or just a trap?

Yes, it is clearly a trap and if you swallow it, it becomes a high risk for you, indeed sometimes the strategy we make can bring us to win a bet, but can you guarantee that the strategy will always be useful in the next bet, it is highly discouraged to place bets with borrowed money because if you lose, it will be a double loss for you, I mean after losing money in a bet, you also have to pay the loan, so by taking the loan, you have made the risk even higher in the game.

Re: What if Bitcoin was reimagined today?

What if Bitcoin was reimagined today, under modern cryptographic assumptions, using a principled minimalist architecture designed for long-term auditability and zero-trust adversarial environments?

That will never happen and certainly will not be of interest to many people, bitcoin is built in a decentralized manner so that many people are interested in investing in it because with bitcoin you can get full financial freedom so that it remains valuable until now, if indeed there are those who want to create new bitcoins, shouldn't there be many bitcoins that have been born on the market so far.
In the past, Cryptocurrency was not as popular as it is today so that the presence of bitcoin at that time was not glanced at by the central government, unlike now if there is a new bitcoin then they cannot give freedom to its users.

Re: Do People Around You Feel If You Lose Or If You Win?

And some gamblers cannot hide their frustration and depression after they lose. You cannot talk to them; they become hard-headed and even resort to drinking.

And some gamblers are good at managing their emotions, so you have no idea if they lose or win, leaving people guessing.

In my case, I make it hard for people to guess if I lose or win. I don't want to bother them if I lose, and I don't want people asking for a share if I win. It's hard to do this, but practice makes perfect.

How about you what's your position?

I am one of you because when I am playing I don't want other people around me to be able to guess whether I am losing or winning because for me by acting like that at least we can play safely because there is no chatter from people around, but it is not easy for us to do it because basically when we are experiencing consecutive defeats then our anger will definitely flare up so that even though we act so that the anger we are facing is not visible but our expression can still be guessed even though we have tried to be calm.

Re: It all starts with the right mindset.
by
bounceback
on 15/06/2025, 04:54:48 UTC
Most of us probably don’t believe that it’s possible to be profitable in sports betting. That mindset alone already closes off any opportunity to earn, so it’s hard to argue with people who don’t believe. On the other hand, there are people who truly believe they can win, especially in the long run. and that’s the mindset we need if we want to take sports betting seriously and make it a long-term journey.

Both sides have their points: some don’t believe, and others do. We just need to respect each other and never say it’s impossible to be profitable in gambling, because if you think that way, maybe gambling isn’t for you.
It's not that I don't believe that sports betting can provide benefits, but the reality that I have experienced so far when placing bets is that there is no profit that I can get even though I have previously won several times in placing bets, but for me the victory did not bring profit because I had spent more money when I lost than when I won, maybe everyone has also won several times when placing sports bets, but in my opinion the victory would not be much when compared to the defeat that was obtained, so many people do not agree if they think that sports betting can bring profit for us because the possibility of that is very small.

In order to safely invest with bitcoin, newbies should get rid of fake news and stick only to what is legit news. However, the problem is how would these newbies be able to differentiate from fakes news over the legit ones? This is why newbies should prioritize knowledge acquisition first more than profits interest because that will serve as their key to avoid falling on fake news and stick only to what is factual and legit.
That is why it is very important for everyone, especially beginners, to learn about bitcoin first before trying to invest in it because without a basic understanding of bitcoin, you should not rush into the market if you are unable to accept the loss. Often, we see beginners investing in bitcoin because of Fomo from influencers, which makes them tempted and hope to get rich in a short time by investing in bitcoin, but in reality, they only get losses because they do not have mature knowledge about bitcoin.

Re: Why don't the rich people get addicted easily?
by

on 12/06/2025, 05:12:50 UTC
This is an open question, maybe I could be wrong in the eye of some of you but am asking this question because a  large number of addicted gamblers are not even up to a middle class standard but they are addicted. Can someone tell me why it's like that or is it totally a different case in your society, maybe an opposite of what I asking is happening in your own society. Poor people gets more addicted, following the middle class before it gets to the rich. Since it's like that, I think it's just the poor people that are gambling the most in the world, if am not correct, I stand to be corrected.
Not only poor people, rich people are also addicted to gambling, even rich people usually play more often on high-risk bets such as playing exclusively in big casinos, but because rich people have a lot of spare money so even though they often experience big losses but it does not directly affect their finances, it makes many people assume that rich people are not addicted to gambling, unlike poor people who gamble where their finances are limited and are even willing to risk all their income in bets so that when they lose it makes them lose everything.

This may be our expectation. We still don't know what is going to happen. In general, Xabi Alonso is a talented coach and we should not doubt his talent. However, we should not forget that having a good coach does not necessarily mean that the team will perform well.

Last season was not very good for Real Madrid, but they are not in a bad position either. It is very easy to come back from the position they are in. However, it remains to be seen how long it will take them to return to their natural performance. I am looking forward to supporting them in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Xabi Alonso is very suitable to be the coach of Real Madrid because with the talent he has, he should be able to bring back the Real Madrid team to perform consistently, previously Xabi Alonso had also been a coach of several big teams so with the experience he has in the past, he might not mind facing Real Madrid players when they are in the dressing room because we often see no matter how great a team coach is if they are not able to face the players well when they are in the dressing room, it will greatly affect the game strategy that is implemented and does not go according to plan.

Re: Saving is not enough
by

Earning money is hard. Saving money is hard. Getting rich and being able to live comfortably is hard. But the truth is saving is not enough. Lots of people will ask how to really get out of poverty but the simple straightforward answer is that you need to be earning more than what you are spending. The question begs, is there a way to get rich even if your expenses are higher than what you are earning?

I don't think so. Some people might use credit cards or loans but it is just a cycle of taking a loan then paying it and you are not really moving forward are you? Saving also does nothing much but it can be a good start. You start saving money and at some point when the money is big enough you can start investing. Either in crypto, real estate or in a business. But just saving the money? Unless you want to keep working until the day you die then it will not be enough.
If saving alone will not be enough to get out of poverty because the more money we save, the higher the inflation rate in our finances, maybe in this situation I think investing is one way to overcome poverty because by investing, our financial portfolio can grow, from year to year the Central Bank always prints fiat money so that without realizing it, the longer the inflation will increase and this is a very difficult problem for every country to handle.
In today's era, if you want your money to always be valuable, try to put it in an investment place and this is the right decision.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)
by

on 11/06/2025, 11:47:46 UTC
Cristian Chivu is the new manager of Inter. Chivu doesn't have much experience. Former Inter player and coach in the lower age categories. He had a short adventure with Parma, that's all. I guess the president of Inter doesn't value experience in this job. They went from a two-time Champions League finalist manager to a manager with only 4 months of league experience. I'm curious to see the consequences of this. It could be a fairytale or a terrible disaster for them.
The decision to sign Chivu as a new coach is showing how InterMilan feels so desperate in finding a good coach. I'd say this as a pure gamble by them. I know how him has been very loyal to them, but no guarantee he can perform even better than Inzaghi.
He never had a full season in serie a. I believe he's either going to get sacked at the mid season or help club to finish at the top 4, only if he can. I have no confidence over this sign.
I think they could find better options instead of Chivu, but for some reason they are interested in him. Maybe they trust his abilities and we underestimate him. Of course, like everyone else, we think that a team that has played in the Champions League finals in two of the last three years deserves a better manager. It seemed more logical to bring in a manager who has proven himself, has quality, and has a successful career. However, the course of the season will determine whether we are wrong about Chivu or not.

We'll see later how far Cristian Chivu will bring the Inter Milan team, but if we look at when he coached the Parma team before which there was not even any development in the team when he coached then I dare say that bringing in Cristian Chivu to become the Inter team coach is a reckless step that they took, don't expect much if this season the Inter team can qualify for the Champions League because with the abilities that Cristian Chivu has it will not be easy for him to be able to make the Inter team develop more than before because a small team like Parma he can't handle let alone handle the Inter team which is one of the big teams in the Italian League.
