When will the Agama Windows Desktop wallet be available for download (0.3.5)?
As i read it needs 0.3.5 for voting and i would of course like to vote.
Until when is voting possible?

you can also use the windows portable version

sure, was allready thinking about it, but as i used so far only the Agama Desktop versions i don't want
to mess up with other wallets/setups. I guess others have the same approach and keep a given
wallet once familar with it.

again, someone tried to use the kucoin adress for mining on a mining pool and does it work?
As there is no windows wallet for many users/miners this would be an option in case it works.....

Kucoin wallet is a web listener one. Easy and straightforward. Didn't' see any restrictions. Shouldn't be a problem.
Tried the web listening wallet on Hotbit. No problems there. Email deposit/withdraw on TradeOgre. Not a problem there either.

You tried from the mining pool to use a web listener wallet one? Which mining pool did you tried it out to receive funds to a
weblistener wallet like the one on kucoin?

Hey guys,

How can i create an stealth address in Agama 0.5.3-Beta? I read in an discription that i need to the tab RECEIVE and create an Stealth Address for staking?

However, there is not any way to create a new address at the tab RECEIVE ??

I would like to know so i can start staking..

I guess you have allready installed the Agama Verus version wallet, right?

here a step by step guide:

- open Agama Verus version wallet
- choose on left side under "Native Mode" Verus Coin/VRSC
- wait until the chain syncs, might take some time
- on top right you should see a green button "receive", click it and go there
- now under the menu "receive" you should see on right 2 buttons, green "create invoice" and right to it an orange "get new adress", click the "get new adress" one.
- When you click the "get new adress" button you get offered 3 options on what kind of adress to choose, transparent, private adress (sapling) or legacy private adress. Choose whatever you need.
- After you clicked one of the 3 options you got you are done,  the new adress is generated and added on the same screen you are allredy.
- To copy the adress, get the priv key and some other options just click the 3 dots left of the adress which again opens a menu to let you choose from....

Hope this helped you generating a new adress.

P.S.: You only need the stealth adress for conversation of your stake rewards to be accounted into the stake. If you mine or bought your tokens you are allready perfect to stake right away.

Re: [ANN] BEAM | Mimblewimble | Private | Scalable | No ICO | No Pre Mine
by
boxalex
on 24/01/2019, 09:43:24 UTC
Beam : Price forecast extrapolation according to the treasury supply for the 3 first years and the expectation of the VC investors

Treasury  after 3 years: (1*20Beam + 2*10Beam) * 1440Block * 365days = 21’024’000 Beam

Treasury allocated to the private investors: 21’024’000 Beam * 35% = 7’358'400 Beam

ROI expected from the VC after 3 years: x35 (between 20x & 50x according to the risk)
Coin Value after 3 years: $invested x35 / 7’358'400 Beam

Assumption 1: $invested = 3’000’000$  --> Beam Value: 14$
Assumption 2, $invested = 6’000’000$  --> Beam Value: 28$
Assumption 3, $invested = 12’000’000$  --> Beam Value: 46$

Other approach:
Circulation supply after 3 year: 21’024’000 Beam
Market cap in 3 years: 800’000’000$, like Monero today
Beam Value: 38$

Please don’t take it too seriously  Cheesy

Sounds good, but is more a calculation for the "to the moon" fans.

The calculation lacks 2 main factors: (Daily Issuance) inflation and Max. Supply....

Of course it’s a best case scenario. 😃

Daily Issuance and inflation has been taken into account. Source: HERE

Max supply not important in this case: time frame =  3 years

As somebody infos about how much money was raised from the VC?

After looking into the linked source you gave i have a more complete picture on inflation and coin supply.
Your calculation is totally wrong mate:

Reason:
- You use the treasurey supply for a price calculation, this is just plain wrong.
- You use for the first 3 years 21’024’000 Beam, but that's just the treasury, you nowhere mention the by than circulating 105,120,000 Beam.
- With the above mentioned, for a price calculation always the by than circulating supply should be used to get a better picture, especially for whatever calculation.

I won't go even into further details as the approach is totally wrong and it doesn't make sense to correct something that is from the bottom wrong, lol.

desktop wallet? wallet download page? Wasn't able to find anything .... :-(

Check out base.aepps.com. Works on desktop and mobile.

Best,
Vlad

It seems you didn't understand the question of this person he is looking for desktop wallet not the links to hardware wallet or mobile app. This link is making me confuse what you post there.

Exactly, thx for pointing it out.

Only a Desktop wallet is of interest for me due several reasons.
I like AE and wanted to get a larger stake, but without desktop wallet i will wait until a reliable one has been released.
As a side note, it makes me wonder that there is no dekstop wallet available  Huh

guys I've used a fake (nonexistent) email, how can I retrieve my coins from grinmint? I don't get how can you use a grinbox relay, I set grinbox.io:443 in settings but the transaction was refused, and how would it know to where it should send the file?

Shocked what's the deal here? To layz to create a google (or whatever) one?
Serously, seldom readed something more stupid than using a fake email for it's own legal business, amazing....  Roll Eyes

cryptopia is scam

Can be.
Can anyone explain how come Cryptopia has more than 50k in volume only on pair etn/btc on coinmarketcap, since there are few days now since the hack?

There are just no new inputs and coinmarketcap shows the last input from the api. It sill shows 50k volume which backs up my theory which is as well the
most logical one by the way.

About cryptopia a scam. Actually it went from a shaddy/suspect exchange the last 6 months into a pretty good one after they changed some people in charge there.
I'am far from saying it's a top exchange but at least it's not a bad one either nowadays. It's a very popular one as well and compared to some fake volume
exchanges like Lbank and similars i would 10x prefer cryptopia over these with faked orderbooks...

Electroneum was a marketing scam riding the waves of sudden influx of interest in blockchain. But now it is turning out a complete failure, and it is just another scamcoin that will eventually dissapear...

Don't like it, don't use it, easy and simple as that.

Great 3rd post by the way, seems you are a stronk contributor here on bitcointalk, lol.
