yes, it is the future.  Why do you think all the establishment (gov, banks) are fighting it so hard.  If they didn't realize it was the future, they would just ignore it.

Send some bitcoin to a paper wallet.  Put the paper wallet in a safe (or lock box) for your kids.

I prefer bitcoin for a long term store of value (long term being over 2 years).  Buy some and forget about it until 2020.

This seems like a typical pattern - nothing too concerning.  At this rate, I expect 40K - 80K by year end.

DeepOnion seems like a winner.  It just takes time to get the word out sometime.  I think the DeepVault part of it is a great value-add as well.  Word is spreading ; maybe top 50 by year end.  Takes time.

XSPEC is a very good buy right now.  Way undervalued for the tech it brings.

I have been watching VRS very closely for the last month - thinking it might make a big move in 2018 as well.  Also hearing the rumors such as you pointed out.  Went ahead and bought in today for 1 million coins.  Considering another million.  Let's see if we can hit 10 to 20 cents in 2018.

This seemed like an obvious ponzi when I first researched it months ago.   I can't help but think most people knew this but were going to gamble anyway.

I think this year will be better than 2017 for the top tier of cryptocurrencies.  There seems to be more awareness of the potential of blockchain-based coins and the fat protocol/thin app-stack model now compared to only 1 year ago.  Just one year ago, I would hear so many people dismiss blockchain or bitcoin as a fad curiosity with no future.  I've noticed a lot more mainstream interest and discussion of viability of blockchain in the last year and especially the last 6 months.  We should see a major shift in perception this year.

For 100X, DeepOnion has good potential.

XVG maybe 100X, but I think 25-50X is more reasonable high target here.

PWR maybe for very small gamble.  PWR is as cheap as dirt and new leadership is trying to revitalize it and rein in the out of control staking, which I think is somewhere north of 100,000,000,000 supply at this point.  This would be a gamble play for sure, but who knows, might turn $50 into $10,000 + on this project if they finally get it going.

I am invested in both BTC and ETH and expect each to do well in 2018.  From a percentage gain, I expect ETH to beat BTC.

I wish I had more money to get another BTC.  What a great opportunity now.

I agree.  Bitcoin king and Ethereum queen.  Ethereum should really be closer to .2 or .3 BTC in value.  It's undervalued.
