Did you persist in your efforts here and get any success?

I too am interested in getting 4.11 running.  Perhas post on Blissz thread?

The changes look pretty minor (miner?) but they are there.

This is one of the coolest coins out there yet no one really seems to be leading it's marketing anymore.  Is it still active?  It still trades so I wonder if anyone is mining it, and where are the best optimized miners for it?  Seems like some graduate school professor could take this thing over and make it last decades.

The one pool running this says it isn't working... not giving payouts right now.  Guess that means it's not worth mining on.

This is Scrypt-Jane not Scrypt-N, is that right?

I couldn't get the wallet to sync until I created the file:

On my Windows 10 if I add any addnode command in the C:\Users\[mywindowsusernamehere]\AppData\Roaming\Axiom\axiom.conf file the wallet app will crash "abnormal termination" immediately on launch.

But manually adding some one at a time to the console did get it connected.  Seems like way way too much work for the average person.

Like everyone here I am extremely disappointed at the near total lack of communication from Simon and staff at Hashra.

However I am encouraged that he has communicated to at least some and you guys are sharing that communication.

It's no way to do great business but it does give me some hope.

Thanks.  I am running two Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III 850 W PSU's.  Good quality, right?  I was under the impression I have some of the very best PSU's.

I had just upgraded to 2.00 firmware.  Just beware!

Make sure you have a working smoke detector and no paper or wood underneath the connector.  Melting plastic is not good.

But the 2ndary cause behind the burned connector was the I had temporarily connected the Y-cable without one of the leads -- so it was being supplied with just one power feed.  The primary cause was the design -- using connectors not rated for such power loads.

Exactly.  Plus this tonight... melting Titan PSU power connectors.

Thieves.

And they killed their message forum so I can't even ask others if they've had similar issues after updating to 2.00 Titan firmware.

dont use cheap sttuff to connect a miner!
http://www.hardocp.com/article/2014/12/11/evga_supernova_1300_g2_1300w_power_supply_review#.VQaepstZuCU
knc also send a connector to connect 2 PCI-E to 1..... you can also use theese http://www.ebay.com/itm/Official-KncMiner-Y-Cable-PCI-E-5-Pack-for-KnC-Titan-Neptune-Power-Cable-Adapter-/261696076264.
dont play with cheap power supplys they wiull burn you miner!

I will post undervolt pics later some cores runs as low as -0.0837

indication -0.0x the more > the value the lower the voltage! -0.1400 is lower then -0.0366 so start as low as -0.09x or even lower end just switch up til one core starts , but before you do this flash to FW 1.06s !
if core starts remember to voltage do so qith all cores ,, to get the minimum , if a core acts instable you can go +1 up from minimum.
I also defalted all cores to 500 mhz so the minimum foor 500mhz is found.
be pacvient sometimes cores doe start in 2 minutes , but that you can see by the amerage , it will go over 1 ampt , end will go up / down etc... and than it kicks in to +40 amps.....
al core are diffrent so some are very sensitive so can have very little volt and some need more.
It proffs that the 20nm precede is far from perfect , this is why some cores run more hot then others , but by undervolting them you can solve a lot of this problem.
and again you NEEED a proper power supply for this ,, like I said a standard consumer supply will not do!
id needs to be 80 gold ceritifies as the EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 1300W is.

And if you are not willing or understanding how  to do that you can reealy better sell your bonus neptune on ebay . because otherwise you will just burn it!
Iam sorry , but thats IMO the fault knc made , they thougt all custumers were Highly tech poepole that understand , software icm with asic technology icm with electronics..... for example the voltage / sinus of a cheap power supply is not good.
here see why! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-jG3vqRQHM as you can see the cheap PSU does wired things.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mwV7YYiVT0 for knc you need gold!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCmLAtHcpdY (watch the osiloscope!!!!!) a bad psu will deliver crap osiloscope outputs!

Hi,

We have updated our web presence to better represent our refocused business models and the decision was made to remove the forum as there are many other larger forums on the web with information and support for our products. We feel that running and maintaining a forum is not part of our core business plan.

Bunch of noise.

I did immediately contact their "support" (aka non-support) asking if the forums were lost of if they'd return... crickets.

Last week, KnC tweeted (https://twitter.com/kncminer/status/575024006312689664) that they are in the process of updating their web presence - implying that the forum will return.

It makes sense to me the Hashra might offer 3 units to keep the order in place. Their costs can be very fluid. If the mfr failed to delivery under contract they may have renegotiated.  The raw chips in bulk can be quite cheap, especially over time.

I've had a lot of respect for Hashra in the past but they really dropped the ball this time.  Hope Simon wants to make it up and doesn't just try to walk away.

FYI -- if it comes to tracking down those responsible, it's likely not just Simon Bright but also a "StevenJ" and a "John" -- but personally I still have hope in Simon as his interactions with me over this last year re: my gridseed orders have been very positive. It's this latest AWOL attitude that's VERY disturbing.

Just found this site since the guy who owns it tried to join our FB group, so legit or scammer?

hashra.com - CCBMC 230 GH/S Bitcoin Miner,
http://hashra.com/ccbmc-230-gh-s-bitcoin-miner/

Good to see that people are doing their homework, but yes we are Legit.
Just got ourselves up and running in the last few days... three guys in London, all of us had enough with the amount of bs with getting miners etc so to cut a long story short that's how HASHRA came into being....

One of us "John" is the guy with the contacts in China / Hong Kong.

Don't feel bad if only one of dies is dead and you are left out.

Apparently over time other dies start dying off.

I have three dies that are increasingly failing now, along with the one die has been dead since the unit arrived.

KnC are real bastards for designing then shipping a broken product and then not allowing cross or early RMA shipment.

Hi #######

Hope you are well, good to hear from you.

As with all these things nothing is 100%.
We expect to ship by the 20th September.

We are getting these made for us so what we have decided is that if for some reason there is a delay and we can still not ship by the 15th October then we offer anyone that ordered a refund.
Please note refunds would be by bank transfer though, not BTC.

If you have any further questions then please do get in touch.

And another Titan customer:

Quote
My hashrate is 0 Mhash/s... and I have four Titan cubes. Arrrrrrrrrrrgh. HWSTATUS is "OFF" for all!

That was mine.  Ribbon cables were backwards... I think they were mfr'd in error.  The controller side is keyed.  Pictures online show them going AWAY from the controller but the one's I have go to the MIDDLE of the board.  So I had to switch the cable on the cube side so that the ribbon cable first went INTO the cube.

I am curious now... is that the way it is for everyone else or did I just get a reversed set of ribbon cables?

If AT still has not refunded the 60% you should try to get it back.

I have not been in this thread since I posted pissed off comment in January about them stealing 40% of my refund plus fee. Seeing all the crap here now Im really glad I got my refund before it was too late :-)
Haven't been that lucky with Black Arrow and Hashfast though

Is this because x64 bit Windows is just too complicated for Nicehash or am I doing something wrong? I've never gotten their sgminer to work on x64 Windows.

Suggestions?  I can't be the only one, right?

Re: Vanity Pool - vanity address generator pool
by
bt2084
on 19/07/2014, 14:55:47 UTC
This project has so much potential!

I don't understand why ever aspect of this project is made out to be so complicated.

You don't see the engine from the drivers seat when driving a car.  Why does the common user need to know 98% of the stuff described on the https://vanitypool.appspot.com page?  It's noise that turns potential miners and buyers off.  Tech people love it.  Great!  Hide it in a section that tech people can find but that takes it away from others.

Both the ordering page and the mining page could really be improved.

Why does it need to be so complicated?

Sorry if it sounds like I am whining.  I am.  I haven't had much sleep.  Just upsets me that so much work has been done but that this project has been left to the joys of an engineer instead of a marketing person. lol.  Please clean up the pages so that a 7 year old could order!

There is hardly any work to be done because this page is written in a way that it requires a bitcoin software programmer to use it!
https://vanitypool.appspot.com/newWork

Just take the 80/20 rule... make this page so AN AVERAGE BITCOIN USER can order their own vanity address!

Geez... this whole thing could big as big as web address registrars become... please improve it and DUMB IT DOWN.  Smiley

(Sorry if I should have written this when I had more sleep.)
