Quite a lot have happened in the crypto investment market with the long run of a bear market in 2022, as a result of the various market crisis ranging from ftx bankruptcy and Luna crash that affect the market for a long time, before the present recovery, many crypto analysts such as myself are confused as for what the level of confidence of investors towards altcoins in this period. Do you consider any altcoin to be pf future profiting, if yes then what is the percentage calculation of your confidence level in that coin and why should we hold them for a long-term basis?

Semi-confident.

Re: Learn to be safe and secured online

Security is everyone's responsibility and it has become very necessary and paramount to protect ourselves from cyber attacks as we engage ourselves online on a daily basis. As technology is advancing and improving is the same way hackers are also advancing in their methods by using different social engineering. This is not the first time something like this is being discussed in the forum but I think it's necessary to be bringing it up on a timely basis in order to keep us abreast. Let quickly brush on the following techniques use by hackers and how to protect yourself from them.
  • Phishing
  • Smishing
  • Vishing

Phishing is a type of cybersecurity attack which happens when malicious actors send messages (email to be precise) pretending to be a friend or a company so as to  steal information or corrupt their devices.
Example of Phishing
https://talkimg.com/images/2023/10/09/RZ309.jpeg
This unfortunate love story started in the Philippines in the year 2000 and was delivered with the subject line I Love You along with instructions to read the attached email. The virus was tracked to an email address registered to an apartment in Manila, which led to Onel de Guzman. He created the Love Bug virus, not thinking it would reach as many people as it did.Within 24 hours of releasing the virus, it had spread across the world.
Remember that it can be in form of link too and not necessarily need to be a file.

Smishing is similar to phishing just because it has a common goal. However, it uses deceptive text messages to manipulate victims into giving out sensitive personal information such as bank account details, credit card numbers and login credentials.
Example of Smishing
https://talkimg.com/images/2023/10/09/RZJZT.jpeg
I have decided to call this lookalike walmart attack because their aim is to portray themselves as those big firms who you probably have transactions with, in other to trick you into believing they are rewarding you. At times, you can still get messages like this even if you have never used their services before. Sometimes, some amateur attackers just send these messages at random.

Vishing is very similar to phishing with the exception that this uses phone calls. This is a manipulative practice of making phone calls or voice messages pretending to be from well known companies in order to make individuals to reveal personal information, such as bank details and credit/debit card numbers and more.
Example of Vishing
https://talkimg.com/images/2023/10/09/RZjB1.jpeg
Have you ever received a phone call, telling you your account has issues and the person you are talking to is a supposed customer service agent? That is Vishing. They pretend that they are from the banks or other institutions that houses your private information. Their aim, is to get those data off you and use it in dangerous ways.

How do we protect ourselves from being a victim of these attacks?

The simple way to avoid these attacks are by following the preventive measures which may include:
Don’t ever click on SMS or email you are sent from unknown sources. Go to the company's website for verification by typing their URL.
Check the names of the sender and most importantly, the links too. Does it make sense for a reputable organization to use [Suspicious link removed]? Ask yourself that amidst others.
Never share private information over the phone. Its better you meet with the company physically to confirm.
Verify the number of the so called company that is calling you. Check their website or the internet to confirm if the numbers correlate. However, know that, numbers too can be cloned, so it’s better to just stick with not sharing sensitive information over online or phone call.
Always download your apps from playstore or apple store for android and apple device respectively because a malware named trojan can be embedded inside those Apps you download from untrusted sources. Better safe than sorry.
Do not visit sites that starts with Https because these are sites that are not secured with Tls(Transport Layer Security) or as it was previously known, Ssl (No more in use). Secured sites url should start with https.

A compilation of these tips and more on cyber security can be read via this documents

Thanks!

Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin?

Maybe USDC but I also use USDT. But I don't think about the fraudulent potential of USDT or other stablecoins because I only use it temporarily and then use it to buy bitcoins. It's like taking profits in USDT to then buy bitcoins again with USDT Grin

And I think in choosing stablecoins, we have to look for it ourselves and not just follow other people's suggestions. That way, we will know which stablecoins we can be comfortable using.

Agreed!

With hacks occurring more frequently these days, I would strongly emphasize the importance of security. Whether it's a decentralized exchange (DEX) or a centralized exchange (CEX), no one is immune. First, we witnessed the Mixin incident, and now it's Galxe. It's crucial for everyone to assess the security measures of any platform before entrusting their funds. We all bear the responsibility to conduct thorough research before investing our hard-earned money
I don't really know how hackers use and penetrate to some websites, and secondly many people who built websites do have antivirus and anti hackers in same websites, I don't if their sites now doest not have an anti hackers, sometimes when issues of hacking a websites occur their is every tendency that someone working in the website is the one that review the secret of the website, because I know quite that it takes hackers some duration before they can penetrate into websites, so therefore the problem of any website start with the developer of the site or their team of anti hacker is not being strong.

Hard for small teams / startups to protect their assets for this very reason.

If you have that many clients and working around the clock like you said, why did you bump this thread? A day only has 24 hours, so you can't possibly work any more Wink.
Joking aside, saying I am the best and nobody else is better than me makes you sound unprofessional. It creates the opposite effect of what you want to achieve.
Keeping your past work a secret is also not something that is normal. Those with something to show, like to show it to entice more clients.
This is true i am real professional because i have many clients and have big reputation. Other Developers know me very well! I have team and team can do more projects also i can do.

Are you a software dev or do you crack existing software?  Huh

Re: Please begin your sentences with capital letters and end them with periods.

Nearly everyone I communicate with using text refuses to begin their sentences with capital letters and end them with periods. They instead call me 'grammar Nazi' which is incredibly offensive and also anti-intellectual. From this, I have concluded that we deserve another pandemic. In the past, I have advocated for biological laboratories to implement an inexpensive procedure that may prevent the accidental release of a pathogen that will infect everyone and make them really fat. Oh. You don't believe me? What about ADENOVIRUS 36? That is a virus that makes people fat. If you are fat, you may be able to blame ADENOVIRUS 36. Now I don't advocate for this anymore because people have been ungrateful and people have tried very hard to convince me that we all deserve another pandemic. And in the next pandemic, the vaccine will be in the ass.

When you refuse to speak correctly in any language, I will not be able to understand what you are trying to communicate. You are no different than a hippo grunting in the jungle. Oh wait. The hippo is much stronger than you, and those grunts mean "I'm gunna fukk u upp, n***a."

-Fuck you

I've noticed many friends disable their iPhone auto-capitalize and it bothers me. Why go out of your way to turn that setting off?

Re: I Used Cracked Windows 10 Activated

I Used Cracked Windows 10 Activated (download from internet) on my laptop, and installed Electrum wallet.

Is my wallet safe?

is there a spy on the cracked windows?
how do know that Cracked didn't inject malware and spyware, and send the data from my laptop to their server?

Probably fine, but you can never be sure and that would bother me enough to just buy Windows 10.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I was wondering why my images weren't working in the preview haha, will check that out.

There are also certain problems with the visibility on the forum of images that have been uploaded to imgur. My advice is to upload to https://talkimg.com/ a service optimized for the Bitcointalk forum.
When you reupload and update the first post with BBCode links, someone (maybe me too) will quote your post and your images will be visible.

Got it, I'll use that from now on, thank you!

Looking at the nature of your service , consider upgrading your account to copper membership for a small fee  from here >>>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote and enjoy the benefits of posting images without restrictions and  lesser waiting times to send private messages or posts for your customers/potential client's as brand-new/newbies have certain limits not until you rank up.

Lastly, welcome to the Bitcointalk forum  Cool

Thank you for the warm welcome! I was wondering why my images weren't working in the preview haha, will check that out.
