Si se iniciara la activación de BIP-148 o si produjera un "hard fork", los bitcoins que tengas guardados antes de ese momento siempre estarán disponibles en todas las cadenas que puedan surgir. Si no tienes claro qué está ocurriendo, lo mejor es no mover nada mientras se produzcan las bifurcaciones. Cuando todo se tranquilice y quede clara la situación final, ya se podría decidir qué hacer.
Gracias Shawshank, esto tranquiliza, a ver como se resuelve todo, van a ser unos días muy movidos, preocupa un poco por que cuando más cerca de la fecha estemos aumentaran las transacciones y ahora mismo ya hay problemas con las confirmaciones incluso con comisiones de 1,5 tardan días! bueno, si es desde un echange lo resuelven muy rápidamente.

Lo de no tener el dinero en los exchanges es pq realmente no tienes control de los Bitcoin, no estás en posesión de las claves privadas. Imagina que hay un fork, pasarías a tener el doble de BTC, en cada una de las cadenas tendrías los mismos, pero imagina que los tienes en Bitstamp y este dice que ellos no soportan BU. Por lo tanto, solo tendrías los de la otra cadena, sin embargo ellos si que podrían manejar tus Bitcoins que estuvieran en BU.
A mi, en particular me gusta electrum como monedero, sencillo y rápido. Eso sí, siempre sobre tor y si puedes tenerlo en una máquina virtual con Whonix aún mejor. Además es compatible con Trezor,... y ahí si que tienes las claves privadas, solo tienes que guardar fuera del equipo la semilla y listo.
EDIT2: por fin se me confirmó la transacción, después de más de 10 días de espera y un $1.5 de comisión.... vaya tiempos en los que sin comisión se confirmaba en horas.
Gracias lukyforvar, a ver si llegado el momento se pueden mantener los btc en las dos cadenas, leí que algunos consiguieron hacerlo con el fork de ETH vs ETC

Estoy un poco confuso con este tema sobre el almacenamiento, ya que la mayoría aconsejan no tener BTC en los echange, incluso algunas aplicaciones ya se han posicionado en algún sentido y también aconsejan no utilizarlas, entonces leo sobre los monederos de papel que algunos quizás tengan problemas con BIP-148 o 149, ¿alguien puede arrojar luz en este aspecto? ¿Son seguras las direcciones creadas con el wallet bitaddress.org-3.3.0? ¿con otra versión mas antigua no? vaya lío..

Para eso tienes que activar la seguridad del sitio si tiene 2FA además de contraseñas fuertes y saber si tu computadora está libre de virus, realmente un scam por suplantación de identidad lo veo complicado a menos que compartas información con otras personas.

Hola, alguno de vosotros habrá participado en alguna ico supongo, ¿como de seguro es el financiamiento?, me refiero al participar en un proyecto serio y profesional ¿que tipo de datos tienes que dar par participar en la ico? un email y ya está? me preocupa si pueden suplantar tu identidad y quedarte sin monedas o sin fondos.
